Newfound Strength

June 1, 2018

Hello there blog followers, I’m back with another Spinraza update as I listen to/watch old episodes of Sam and Dean finding a way to end the apocalypse. If you didn’t know I was a supernatural fan before now, well now you know.

This won’t be too long of an update, but I feel these things need to be documented and well, this is the place I document these things.

Over the past few weeks since my third injection, I have been noticing little differences again. I definitely have more leg control and strength as putting on tights the other day wasn’t as much of a struggle, as well as putting on shoes. My legs don’t shy away from Nanny pushing against them. Then when she put my shoes on the other day, I was able to keep my legs still and could kick pretty hard with my left when she held the laces up to take the weight of my foot.

As you can see below in the gifs, I was able to feed myself a bit of my dinner and a bit of my breakfast with minimal soreness afterwards. Now, this I believe was just one, or two, of those times where I had a moment of motivation and a bit of strength that suddenly occurs once in a blue moon. I don’t really think the below evidence is anything to do with Spinraza, but the videos made to gifs are funny so here you are:

Awkward smiles to the camera after successfully feeding myself

The last one is my personal favorite with that mischievous face at the end…

Actually, come to think of it… the first gif reminds me of something…..

Hmmmmmm…

Maybe it’s just me.

Anyway, apologies for the lack of updates, but it has been a bit hectic lately. But I finished my first semester of Physics with an A! So that’s a plus.

So that’s my update, hopefully next week there will be more excitement.

Key greeting Shawols at KCon 2022 | We love you and you deserve everything!!

We’re all familiar with Hermione’s “We could’ve been killed! Or worse… expelled.”

But why don’t we ever talk about it’s parallel line from Captain America: The First Avenger, “They’ll catch you! Or worse, they’ll actually take you.”
