i’m pretty tired so idk if this will make sense, but as a lesbian fan of our flag means death, i have to say i don’t like this trend of people demanding “lesbian pirates” in season 2 with no other context or reasoning aside from checking off another box on the representation checklist. saying “this story has gay men in it, so it needs to have lesbians too” just feels so cheap and disingenuous, as if the show’s foremost purpose is to be a one-stop shop for all LGBTQ representation ever, or as if “lesbian representation” is a trope that can be tacked on as an afterthought, regardless of the story’s greater context.
like, if there are lesbian pirates in S2, then great, but if OFMD continues primarily as a gay love story between two men and exploration of different ways to bea man, then that’ll still be amazing and revolutionary, even if there are no lesbians.
Okay but like… the idea of Kiba smelling another person on his partner but not wanting to say anything because he doesn’t want to admit it to himself but the smell just keeps getting stronger and stronger until he just breaks.

i totally forgot about this blog until just now so i thought i’d give a bit of a life update? im not sure how many of my followers are still active/remember me, but idk
a lot has happened! and i’m in a much, MUCH better place mentally than i was when i was running this blog. although i enjoyed making stimboards and posting stim content, i found the stim community extremely toxic and exhausting, and i also perpetuated toxic behavior myself (like advocating that the media you watch reflects on how good of a person you are), and i’m really sorry for that.
i was 16 when i started this blog and i’m 21 now! so that’s wild. i graduated high school, started T, worked on a farm for a while, got top surgery, got diagnosed with fibromyalgia, went to college, got diagnosed with ptsd, realized i want to be a marine biologist, got really really sick, and got diagnosed with lyme disease. i am now finally receiving treatment and even though i’m physically much sicker than i was in high school, i am so much happier and at ease with myself.
im not sure what the stim community is like nowadays but i hope its a more peaceful place now than it used to be lol
currently im working on a biology degree with a focus on ecology and marine science and i’m having an awesome time. i got to actually tag 2 wild sharks this summer and that was pretty much the highlight of my entire life.
not really sure how to end this but i just wanted to post a little update and kind of reflect on this blog

Like I said before, holy shit, Tom Hardy is not easy to draw. Well maybe it at least resembles him a little bit; that’s all I can hope for. ^_^ Did some minor alterations, and finished drawing his legs/shoes.

The short version of the situation: I have a back injury w/possible nerve damage from an auto accident & an infected nerve in my tooth from a filling/the nerve being sensitive & in my sinus cavity. I’ve been in physical therapy with my physician & getting things done with my dentist- and I’d asked for a temporary change in schedule at work to better address those things. My work’s response was no response for 3 weeks, and then suspending me for 3 weeks without pay for calling in sick. (They do a lot of illegal shit all the time)
Thankfully, I’d been saving as much as possible for a few months in order to either quit my job or buy a Cintiq or a laptop, so I was able to afford the root canal, which I had done this morning. Bills currently are ok, I think. I’m REALLY worried about the July and August, because my next paycheck will be like $100 IF they honor my “annual 2 day vacation,” and my check after that will only be a half check. Debt is not even on the radar right now.
I’m doing everything I can on my end to change my situation & to take care of myself & to not give in to despair & die, tbh, but I could use some help.
why wheatley’s original voice sounds like a man who speaks low british and he may kill you, but his dub voice in russian sounds like a classic silly little sized student who has pretty innocent look but laughts or screams as if you turned him inside out. and maybe drunk.
