Love that I get the strangest looks for wearing a face mask at the hospital. Like if I wear it in public, some people get weird, but if I walk into a waiting room at the hospital with one on (because I know they aren’t going to let me wait in a separate area like they’re supposed to and I want at least a little protection) and everyone just loses their shit. Literally, a woman in the corner whispered “oh, she’s sick” when I sat down.
This is a hospital. Y’all are sick too. THATS WHY IM WEARING IT.

Lucifer and Mammon kept wandering around for a longer period without entering any shops.
Somehow, Mammon felt weird.
He should be on cloud nine, having his greed being fed so well. He should be grabbing all he could, because right now, he actually COULD get everything he wanted…
But somehow, that thought didn’t make him happy.
He did get some more things he had been eyeing for a long time, yes,
But even that joy felt a slight tad odd.
Mammon wasn’t sure if he has ever felt this way before. So, at some point, they came to a stop in front a jewelry store. There was a pair of earrings Mammon recognised.
“These are the ones Asmo lost last week, aren’t they?”
Lucifer stepped closer, nodding. “If I recall correctly, yes.”
“… Buy them” Mammon prompted after a moment. “I wanna rub it in Asmo’s face that I have a new pair, but won’t give it to him.”

A few shops further into the street, they came by Madam screams, and Mammon asked for one of the winter collection boxes.
Also, the store right next to that was selling blankets made out of a lava sheep’s (super soft) wool, so he bought one of those as well.
“… It’s getting pretty chill outside” he mumbled as an explanation.
A little smirk growing on Lucifer’s face, he gladly bought what he was told.

Okay, my brain’s been thinking about this idea for a few days and I want it to stop so I’m typing it out and putting it on the internet. I’m gonna save myself some time and say: add “generally” to every sentence, this obviously doesn’t apply to literally everyone. “Fight” = anything from play fighting/slightly abusive “banter” to actual, y’know, war.
1. So, when you were at school, you had your group of friends. Occasionally, members of your friendship group would fight, in some way or another, it’s what happens. You sometimes would find it funny, or annoying, but generally just accept it as a thing that happens, unless it gets serious.
-But if someone from outside your friendship group tried starting a fight with one of your friends, more often than not, you group together to stick up for them.
-If two people in a different friendship group start fighting, you leave it alone because it’s not your problem.
2. So in your school, there were a lot of these groups of friends. Occasionally, groups of friends would fight, in some way or another, it’s what happens. More often than not, you would probably have found it entertaining to watch the two rival friend groups fight.
-But if someone from outside of your school tried starting a fight with someone in those other groups, more often that not, you group together to stick up for them.
-If two random people outside of your school start fighting, you leave it alone because it’s not your problem.
3. Right. So. What I’ve been thinking is this kinda thing continues being true as you go up in scale: Cities. There’s groups of people in cities that don’t like each other and fight, but in a circumstance like a sporting event where it’s easy to identify who is from where, you end up with people from the same place backing each other up, and a fight between two of the other city’s people being none of your business.
4.Again, people from different cities that fight among each other will often band together in a situation where it involves another country. A lot of people get very defensive if another country does some perceived damage to any part of their country.
5.Continents to some degree, but we’ve split the world in a different way to that really. Although both are made up of “cliques” of their own - we’ve got “the west” and “the east.” Just the idea of having a west and east as a set location on a sphere makes me laugh, but that’s another thing.
So, if one of the eastern countries attacks a western country, this mentality dictates we back them up, we go to war for them. But, being in the western world and seeing countries in “the other place” fighting, going to war - on the whole, we do nothing, we appear to naturally react that way. Media coverage is pretty much equal to high school gossip.
6.SO. What I’m trying to get at, is: please, if there is any intelligent alien life monitoring Earth, and you happen to see this message, could you maybe fly around in your flying saucers and blow up some empty buildings and fields and stuff every now and again? Just to remind everyone that even though we feel like we’re in all these different groups, countries, whatever, we’re still all from the same planet. Do we really need competition from alien beings to make us band together and be compassionate to one and other?

It is when you’re angry at your mom for brining you into a world to only want to escape it (even though it’s not her fault). i’ll keep improving my art. i want to get better more than anything. i want to look back on how far i’ve come but instead i keep looking forward and it seems like I have a whole mountain to climb and everyone else is almost at the peak. it’s hard to see your own progress but so easy to see everyone else’s. i just feel so slow and no ones gonna wait.
Some of my friends have been expressing that they can’t make combo flags displaying the entirety of their identity due to the virtual absence of non-satirical cis and straight flags, so I decided to take a whack at it! Please note that straight people cannot use the Queer Cis flag and cis people cannot use the Trans Straight flag. These flags are for individuals who are still part of the LGBTQIA+ community in some way.
Okay, so. Why does a cis queer flag need to exist? That’s just a variant of “CiS pRiDe”. You don’t need to be proud to be a CIS queer. There’s no pride in that. That’s like making a white queer flag alongside existing black queer flags. It’s ???????
Straight trans is fine. Straight trans people should absolutely have pride in being straight trans people, because they get othered for being straight in LGBT spaces (e.g. “straights DNI”).
But “queer CIS pride” is offensive.
Like. Imagine if someone started yelling, “But!! But!!!!!! White trans people deserve pride too!!!!” or “But!!!! Cis PoC deserve positivity too!!!!” in a positivity post for trans PoC
There’s really nothing wrong with cis queer pride. Cis queer pride and straight trans pride are two sides of the same coin, to get upsets at one but not the other is rather hypocritical. Cis and straight are both majorities, they’re both considered the ‘norm’ by many. There is pride in breaking the ‘norm’ one way and not another, no matter what part of the ‘norm’ you keep. You can personally find this offends you, but your opinions are not universal fact
And your comparison of cis black people and white trans people on a trans poc post makes no sense, because you’re the one derailing a post in this situation. Op made this post as a positivity thing for his friends and you’re derailing it. White trans people and cis black people derailing a trans poc post? Annoying, unnecessary, not a good thing. Op making his own post? Thats what this site is for
I made these flags so my friends could make combination flags describing the whole of their identities. It wasn’t necessarily about pride, but the ability to have a simple visual representation, and for my queer cis friend, toacknowledge being cis as to not other her friend group. Like cis people who put their pronouns in their bios, she wanted a flag to at least personally normalize: “Hey, I’m cis. Other people aren’t. And a couple of my non-cis friends felt like their flags gave them a tacked-on ‘otherness’ quality because being cis is so 'normal’ that I only have to visually mention my orientation.” She doesn’t want a queer cis flag for pride, but simply for her personal friends’ comfort in their pride. It’s an act of solidarity for her, and I support it.
Also, gay trans PoC here, I know that derailing, and you’re the one doing it. I get where you’re coming from, but where theseflags are coming from are not “CiS/sTrAiGhT pRidE”. Please notice how I specifically avoided the word pride to refer to these flags.
