Fics

Now that life* is calming down slightly, I’m starting to think about finishing a fic or three. I need to finish Stars before Halloween. Other than that, I have in the works:

• murder mystery Zelink
• Advanced Topics in Celestial Mechanics AU Zelink, or
• the Link POV on BotW Zelda no one is asking for, but at least it’s complete.
• start from new and write Yiga Link as double agent because enemies-to-lovers is my jam

help. What do I focus on?

*no COVID thus far this school year, yay; alas, no zebras.

I panic
when buying mascara.

There are too many choices and
I get flustered,

paralysed.

I don’t know the difference
between black,
                   and blackest black,

whether I should get regular
or waterproof.

Do I want volume, length or curl

(Why do I have to choose one aspect
over the others?

Why can’t I have it all?)

The shop assistants watch as I
read all the labels three times,
pick things up and
                put them down again,

stand and stare.

How am I ever going to figure out
what to do with my life

when I can’t even decide
if I need ten times the volume or
60% longer lashes or
a daring 30 degree curve?
