Inktobertale - challenge 2021 #11 “City”

I like those movies where animated characters are pulled into the real world, for example: “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”. I just wanted to try something like that, and it looks ok^^. Now Ink is taking a little tour of our world.

PS: Spelling error in the second speech bubble: *in an alley…

Inktobertale - challenge #5 “Blaster”

I thought it was funny that Ink and his Gaster Blaster both spit the same stuff. Also, the English word “spew” means “spit” and “vomit” at the same time!  (English is not my native language and when I found out the different meanings of the word, I found it really funny) XD.

Besides, as we already learned from the Undertale - fancomic “Unexpected Guests”, Gaster Blasters and their owners are not so different XD.

It was also really fun to draw this, I have not painted with watercolors for a long time. It was something different, let’s see what I will do the next few days^^

Inktobertale - challenge 2021 #2 “Price”

I present: the Japanese wish spirit, Ink.

I didn’t quite know what to do about “price” at first, until I remembered the well-known phrase “all magic comes with a price” from “once upon a time”. At first I wanted to paint Ink as a normal Gini, but since he is inspired by the Japanese, I adapted his design accordingly:

- Old rice hat with a seal, on which the Japanese kanji for “spirit” is written.
- As clothing a whole kimono (multilayered top)
- Instead of color test tubes, small old Japanese sake bottles
- Otherwise, small bells and actually a bit of makeup (which I forgot)

Story: Ink’s greatest wish was to change his monotonous life. One day he expressed this wish to a ghost, who then transformed Ink into a wishing spirit himself. The price was his soul. –> That’s why I drew his kimono open at the top. Maybe it’s part of the deal that he can’t hide his soullessness.
