So, I realized that scene in The Zippleback Experience, where Snotlout hassles Hiccup on behalf of the twins, where Hiccup gets punched and gets his ear flicked, Toothless is not there. 

Which is fair. Because if he wasn’t sleeping or something, Snotlout would be even worse trouble than what Barf and Belch would have offered.

Though, Toothless is there for the scene in the Clubhouse afterwards.
