LIVE

Despite the differences between The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian, there is one thing these two shows share that I love. The world building, and the expansion of the GFFA as a universe with different planets, inhabitants, cultures and factions.

Every time I watch an episode, I feel immersed into another world that is vast and interesting and alive. I thank Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau in equal amounts (as well as George Lucas) for making Star Wars feel like a living breathing entity, in spite of what the ST failed at.

Ok, who’s drawing the characters doing this? Bc i need it

YJ Comics on DCU (video #2)

As part of our Young Justice Tie-In Comics Awareness Campaign, we are honored and excited to present you with another promo video with TWO Young Justice voice actors!

Thank you so much, Jason Spisak and James Arnold Taylor, for being part of this!

So I was watching Clone Wars Conversations where James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi Wan) interviews Sam Witwer (voice of Darth Maul) and something seemed very familiar.

MOST THINGS KENOBI THE PODCAST - EPISODE 49: REVIEWING THE FAN FILM “KENOBI,” WRITTEN BY AND STARRING JAMIE COSTA AND DIRECTED BY JASON SATTERLUND

If you’re in the mood to get hyped for the Kenobi Series, then I have a recommendation for you. Check out the short fan film “Kenobi” by Jamie Costa. Here it is:

It’s one of the best quality fan films I’ve ever seen. The plot is simple enough. Obi-Wan is living on Tatooine, haunted by memories of Anakin. When the Empire arrives on the Uncle Owen’s farm, Kenobi hurries to protect Luke and the Lars family.

The cinematography really stands out to me. It is STUNNING!!

The wide desert drone shots…

…the sun flares…

…the low-angle character shots = all well-crafted.

This short film is clearly a love letter to Star Wars amd I’m here for it.

Plus! James Arnold Taylor makes an appearance!

Check it out and tell me what you thank :)
