This week is a very special episode for Most Things Kenobi, as LeeAnn and her dear friends Derrick and Corey review their amazing experience aboard the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. During this in-depth conversation (which DOES include spoilers!), they’ll describe what they thought of the experience, including hits and misses, how they were able to book the Galactic Suite, and even reveal some pro tips for the best experience if you ever decide to stay aboard the Starcruiser. If you’re in the mood to get hyped for the Kenobi Series, then I have a recommendation for you. Check out the short fan film “Kenobi” by Jamie Costa. Here it is:
It’s one of the best quality fan films I’ve ever seen. The plot is simple enough. Obi-Wan is living on Tatooine, haunted by memories of Anakin. When the Empire arrives on the Uncle Owen’s farm, Kenobi hurries to protect Luke and the Lars family.
The cinematography really stands out to me. It is STUNNING!!
The wide desert drone shots…
…the sun flares…
…the low-angle character shots = all well-crafted.
This short film is clearly a love letter to Star Wars amd I’m here for it.

Adam Driver has more range in his acting abilities than we have minutes to cover, but we do our damndest in this episode! We share our appreciation and awe-inspired takes on Adam’s acting, commenting heavily on his character within the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, in addition to several other of his other roles in film and television. From his humble background to his military experience to his degree from The Juilliard School, Adam Driver’s talents know no bounds. We wanted to celebrate each one, and to thank him for bringing the character of Ben Solo/Kylo Ren to life.
