You tuck your dress to side inside the car, automatically taking a look with your phone camera, your make up is intact, you needed to look more than perfect tonight, in fact, if something goes wrong you could lose everything that you had been working on the last two months plus having to face with your scary boss that would not hesitate to literally destroy you, so you needed to play your part well.

As you arrive to the hotel and the staff was quick to lead you to the event, soon a crowd of high-status people was surrounding you, everybody in their circle, even though it was a party nobody seemed to have their guard down, some with a bored look in their faces as they were sick of these kinds of events where everybody was pretending behind a friendly smile.

As you take a champagne glass from the waiter and sipped, your eyes were looking for the most important person in the entire room: Kim Namjoon.

“You see that man, right at my corner, he is Kim Namjoon” said your boss V sipping his cappuccino, his hands covered in golden rings, his casual but incredibly expensive clothes, the dead look in his eyes, his whole persona was from an outsider a classy man, but you that had work enough time with him, is still difficult getting accustomed to his intimidating aura.

You two were having brunch in a very fancy french place, in downtown Seoul.

Your gaze poses on the manly figure having a light meal with a bunch of middle aged men, he stood up dressed head to toe in designer suit, Rolex on his wrist, brown hair slicked down, he was handsome for sure.

“I thought that he would be forty year old with a decaying hairline” you commented pinching your dessert and having a taste.

“Me too” he looked at you “he is your mission” V grabbed a piece of your dessert and hummed savoring pastry.

“I don´t think it would be difficult, Mr. V” you glace again at man that was now lurking on his phone oblivious “It would take a month or two” you saw a little smirk on your boss lips.

“Well then, you better don´t disappoint” he called the waiter and paid the check.

You needed to catch Namjoon attention, after all you been studying this man for two months, every move you make is calculated and couldn’t allow yourself to slip up, V has made a significant investment in this mission, and you needed to pay your debt, you were interwind with a very dangerous organization and their business partners, if you couldn’t do the job they would probably got rid of you and replace you, but not everything is bad, if you do things right means that you are set for life, the bigger the risk the more rewarding award.

The bubbly persona that you had been studying was now on full display while you talk with some guests at the party, you haven’t even spotted Namjoon closest circle, so maybe chatting with some random people get you some information.

“And by the way, I know the reason why someone like Kim Namjoon had organized this business party disguised as a charity event” said the woman with immaculate appearance, crimson lips and big diamond earrings.

“Really?” you opened your eyes pretending innocence and surprise.

“oh yeah,  I got some friends that occasionally invest on his company, they are generous so from time to time they go to lunch together, get invited to his parties, you know the drill…” she paused while you nodded pretending to understand “anyway, the point is that he was trying to pull investors for his new project or whatever and my friends recognized some not trustworthy people, apparently some new rich bitcoin coons, they warned him but he didn’t listened, I don’t know the details so don’t ask me, but he got scammed and lost face in front of everybody, now I was just sharing my theory with Jinyoung and Mathew” she said with a expectant smirk on her face.

“I’m intrigued” you lead her on.

“The excuse is the charity for funding schools in some god forsaken country, but all this flamboyant party is in reality a way to say that the scam situation hasn’t face him at all, like last month he’s on the news scammed written on big letters, but now he has all the money to spend in this lavish dinner and party” Jinyoung and Mathew agreed with her while you sipped your second glass of champagne.

“But the question here is all smoke and mirrors?” you asked rhetorically.

The three people nodded.

“I’m Jihyo, by the way” she offered her hand and you took it shaking it with a smile.

“I’m yn, is a pleasure to meet you” you responded, Mathew and Jinyoung also introduced themselves.

“What are you doing here, if you don’t mind me asking” said Jihyo.

Because you were training for this, getting into character you were not nervous at all, the trick to a good lie is to always take elements that are real and incorporate them into your story.

“To be honest, my boss sent me because he didn’t want to attend himself, if anyone asks, I’m instructed to said he on a wedding in Italy, he picked me for this event to represent him” you lied without hesitation.

“Where do you work?” asked Jinyoung.

“Do you know Park & Choi co.?” they all nodded “Then you are speaking with the assistant of their lobby’s departments president.” You added.

“Damn you must be good at your job, those people don’t let anybody that they don’t trust handle their business” said Jihyo impressed.

After chatting for some minutes, you excused yourself to the bathroom to refocus on your mission, retouching your lipstick in the bathroom two supermodel like girls entered, one clearly upset.

“Why he is so mean to me? I don’t understand!” said the girl whining.

“He is playing games is Park Jimin afterall, like you were supposed to enjoy the short time he gave you his attention” said her brunette friend.

You recognized that name, Park Jimin, one of Namjoon’s biggest competitors, also a womanizer asshole.

“I know Park Jimin” you said to them, catching their attention.

“Do you?” replied a little too aggressive the heartbroken girl.

“Yeah my friend was as devasted as you are right now”

“What did you say?!”

“Dahyun! Excuse her, I’ve been trying to warned her to lower her expectations but she didn’t listen” said the other girl.

“It’s ok, he is trash though” you added, both girls chuckled agreeing with you.

“Yeah, to be honest I wasn’t even supposed to be with him” said the girl named Dahyun “Like my brother hates him and everything” she spoke as she was about to cry.

Suddenly you recognize the girl, as Namjoon’s sister, you knew that she was a spoiled brat that knew no better that partying and spending money on unnecessary expensive stuff, the other girl must be her friend.

“You should had listened to Namjoon oppa, he was right about him” her friend told her, Dahyun rolled her eyes.

“You are so annoying, Nayeon, you always defend him, I know you are in love with him or whatever but be on my side sometimes!”

You raised an eyebrow, interesting, now you have competition, well she was pretty and all, but you would not take any chances to get the job done.

“Wait a minute you are mister Kim’s sister, right?” you asked her pretending surprise, she nodded. “Miss Kim, it’s an honour, I’m Kang Yn”

“Don’t get all formal all of the sudden” she said to you “I can imagine you are as bored as I am, and if you want me to introduce you to my brother, don’t, he is a sexist bastard and doesn’t do business with women” your smile slightly deflated at the fully composed Dahyun.

“He is not sexist, Namjoon oppa is just traditional!” defended Nayeon

“whatever” Dahyun replied to her friend “if you can excuse us” she said while walking off the restroom with her friend Nayeon following after.

You had to make the connection with Namjoon as soon as possible, you didn’t feel good about his sister’s best friend being around him, she was like a lost puppy, pathetic.

Maybe a cigarette could make things better.

On the balcony you pull out of your purse a cig just to curse out loud because you didn’t bring the lighter.

“Need some light?” a soft but manly voice asked behind you, you turn over and before your eyes was Park Jimin, the devil himself.

“Yes, please” you put the cigarette in your mouth and he light it on for you not losing the eye contact, you inhaled the smoke and then exhaled it feeling more relaxed. “Thanks…”

“Jimin, Park Jimin” he said with a smile.

“Oh so you are THE Park Jimin” you replied taking another smoke.

“so you heard of me” he stated playful little smile still on.

“Well some girls where talking shit on the bathroom” you teased, the man was attractive for sure.

“Let me guess, one is a brunette and the other is a black-haired girl” he asserted and you nodded. “That’s what I thought”

“You ex is a little upset let me tell you” you said to him, he laughed at your statement.

“Dahyun is not my ex, she doesn’t have maturity level enough to involve herself in a relationship”

“So you are a heartbreaker?” smiled at him smoking once again your cigarette.

“Not with you, may I have your number?” he said confident, it would hurt to say no to a very handsome multimillionaire, but it was something you had to do, because your life was on the line.

“I’m sorry, mister Park, I’m compromised with someone else” you looked at him in the eye.

“May I have your name?” he said with the same confidence that you had to smile almost flustered.

“My name is Kang yn”

“My pleasure, miss Kang” he said kissing your hand “And by the way before you go, if there is somebody that is heartbroken, that person must be me”

“And why is that?” you asked expecting another flirting line

“Mister Kim Namjoon himself, the host of this party, it’s about to marry my girlfriend, isn’t that ironic?”

You had to make seam as you didn’t care, but that was definitely something you were not expecting.

“Ironic?”

“I may have fooled around with his little sister, but he got with the only person I only care about”

“For what it was said to me, mister Kim didn’t have a formal relationship nor did he want one”

And it was true, you did well your research, what is this marriage thing all of the sudden.

“Because he is a business man, first, human second, the only thing that matters to him is money, for him it’s game getting with Jisoo and I don’t know why I’m telling you this, I’m sorry” he apologized lowering his gaze.

“You needed to tell someone that, Mr. Park, I hope you enjoy the rest of the night” you said to him turning around just to hear his voice again.

“Please call me, Jimin” he told you confident smile again on his face “and I hope to see you again” you nodded while walking away.

As soon as you saw the waiter with a tray full of champagne glasses, you chugged discretely three other glasses of the golden liquid, leaving you a little tipsy.

That changed the course of your plans, you studied the man, yes, his job was his whole life, but he was man after all, and a man has necessities, Namjoon wasn’t the exception, he always had a woman’s company maybe not every day but at least once a week, so when did he had time to engage to somebody, it simply can’t be.

The universe must hear your thoughts because there it was, Kim Namjoon with an elegant and beautiful woman under his arm, as you saw the shooting daggers that Park Jimin was sending with his eyes to them, you assumed he was with Jisoo.

What to do?

Maybe you should plan another time to meet him, like you didn’t have to marry him or anything just maintain a low key relationship, not necessarily romantic, to get close to all the financial info that you could get your hands on.

Feeling defeated and miscalculating some steps you almost fell to the ground but a pair of strong arms save you from your fall.

“Watch out, miss” his voice was warm, as you turned around to encounter a worried expression looking back at you.

“I’m sorry, sir, are you okay? You asked a little embarrassed.

“It is me that it has to ask you that question” he replied not letting your hands go until you got back your balance.

“I’m more than fine, just tripped with something, but thank you for helping me”

“I’m grateful that i was near to help, miss…?”

“Kang yn” you responded, today you had introduced yourself more that you were accustomed.

“You look beautiful today, miss yn” he took your hand and kissed it.

“Thank you…”

“Call me Hoseok” he said to you.

“Hoseok”

“My name sounds a thousand times better when you say it” he assured you with a smile.

“What a coincidence, mine too”

Hours and a few drinks later, Hoseok was thrusting inside of you making you moan, you were on his suite on this same hotel with a nice view, he couldn’t help himself when you took off your dress, leaving marks on your neck and sucking your breast.

It was a last minute thing, but it worked out.

You could not make a move that was not deeply calculated, sleeping with Hoseok was a full made decision.

But what he has to do in this whole thing, you ask.

Well, he is Namjoon best friend and business partner and your next best chance to keep your plan going.

Hoseok was your access to Namjoon, and you were not going to waste this opportunity.

A/N: HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Here it is, my last story for this special month, the thirteenth story I promised you guys! And… it’s a OT7 fanfic! I usually prefer to write only for one member at a time, but for this story I wanted something special so I included all of them. The relationship with the reader can be read however you like, be it romantic, platonic or just as a friend! Up to you! Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this series and that you like this story for the finale. Love you guys and let me know what you think!

Summary: You take all the members of BTS to go out camping during the Halloween weekend. Just the eight of you. What could possibly go wrong?

Warnings: HORROR! But not quite, just a spooky idea I had and wanted to share! Hope you all like it!

Word Count: 4769

There was a particular difficult issue that you always knew would come up when you first got to know the seven boys of BTS. Getting close to them, befriend them, caring for them would end up being incredibly frustrating during special days, like birthdays or Christmas or Valentine’s Day. And the reason why was simple: they were rich and already had any and everything you could envision them wanting for themselves.

Coming up with gift ideas became so stressful to you, that the boys had to put on an intervention one day and make you promise that you would never buy any of them a present ever again. So, since then, special days were celebrated with kind words and long messages to each other, lots of food and drinks if you could all be together and an overall good time in each other’s company.

And yet, when a friend of yours got a job as park ranger at a beautiful national park with amazing views, you got an idea. That particular park was closed down as they were redoing some of the roads and adding trails for hikers, being safer to just close off access to any pedestrians or campers for the month of October. So, if your friend could get you and the boys into the park, no one would be there to recognize them or bother them. And they had the weekend of Halloween off just in time.

It took a bit of persuading, but it’s not something Taffy hadn’t done before for her friend’s or something you had done for her back in the day. It would be just for the weekend, when no one would be working in construction either way, and she would be at the station in case anything went wrong.

In your eyes, it was the perfect gift you could give them. The boys liked camping, but they only ever did it with a bunch of cameras, never really just by themselves. They have been talking about a trip like this for months. And you could offer them just that.

“Have a good stay up there, babe” Taffy’s voice came in through the walkie talkie she gave you as you met her at the station to come in.

“Thanks, I owe you big time, queen” you radio back at her, a smile on your lips as you look out the van’s window while you continue up the path.

“Yeah, you do. Just watch out for wildlife and new forks in the roads. They haven’t put up the new signs yet” she warns.

“Will do. See you tomorrow.”

With that you decide to keep the walkie in your backpack before you ended up losing it.

“I still can’t believe we are actually doing this!” an excited Taehyung next to you says, a boxy smile and sparkling eyes thrown at you.

“It’s going to be fun. We’ll put up the tents, make a fire and eat some s’mores…” Hoseok chips in, sitting across the table from you with that usual cheery smile of his. “We’ll drink some beers and dance under the stars!”

“Yeah, I don’t know about the smores” Yoongi warns, on the other side of the moving van, body leaning against the window on his side, but looking your way. “We didn’t buy any marshmallows, so unless you packed some, no can do.”

“What?!” Hoseok turns around in his seat to talk to Namjoon, who was currently on the passenger side upfront, next to a driving Jungkook. “Say, Namjoon, did you buy the marshmallows like I asked?”

“Hum? What?” He does his best to turn around in his seat and look at us, but you can only see half of his square jaw and one of his slim eyes as he stretches, short hair covered by a cap.

“The s’mores for tonight” Hoseok persists.

“Oh, crap. Sorry, totally forgot about it!” Hoseok sighs in disappointment, and Namjoon feels guilty about it. “Should I go back and buy some?”

“No, of course not. It’s okay, another time we’ll have some” Hoseok remains positive and smiles brightly again, much to the leader’s relief.

“Yeah, this won’t be the last time we go camping, surely” Jimin, sitting next to Hoseok across from you and Taehyung, comforts him although he didn’t seem to need it any longer. “If I remember next time, I’ll buy you some myself, hyung.”

“How’s it going, JK? Is it much longer?” Jin yells as he leans to try and see the driver from his seat across from Yoongi.

“What?” Jungkook asks back, turning his head towards us slightly but keeping his eyes on the road and hands steady on the wheel.

“How much longer?” Jin repeats.

“The last sign I saw said two miles to the camping ground” he answered.

“Okay, good job!” Jin compliments the youngest.

Soon enough you arrived at the camping site, some bathroom facilities nearby that your friend gave you the keys to use as well some wooden tables and benches. There were tall colorful trees surrounding the clearing where you would all be staying tonight, with a beautiful view to the peak of the mountain, high on the sky, so much further away.

The boys all jump out of the van even before Jungkook managed to shut the engine off, screaming and stretching their legs as they walk outside into the grass and fresh air. Jin and Namjoon both ask you for the keys to the bathroom since they had to go for a while, only for Taehyung to steal them out of your hands and go first, with a shouting angry Jin and an annoyed resigned Namjoon following after.

You help Yoongi and Hoseok taking out all the necessaries in terms of food preparing, while Jimin and Jungkook tried to set the two tents up. When the rest of the members joined, things picked up quickly and you, Jin and Yoongi got a station ready for cooking while the rest of them took care of everything else.

It was early afternoon when you all arrived, but the night was commencing by the time you all sat down to eat. The hours felt like minutes, not a moment passing by in boredom with these boys around. Be it Jin telling you his silly jokes as he sliced the ingredients next to you, Yoongi asking you to taste every dish he prepared multiple times to know if it was good, Namjoon trying his best to help only to look at you with guilty eyes as he holds in his hands a broken part of the chair he and Hoseok were assembling. Hobi laughing about it in disbelief with you. The three younger members all struggling to put up the tents at first, calling you to help them but you only end up stuck under the fabric of the tent when they let it fall on you.

Not a dull moment with them. And so, hours went by like minutes.

By the end of dinner, you are all sited in chairs around the fireplace – Namjoon siting on one that was missing an arm, since he broke it – all watching the starry sky in comfortable silent, interrupted occasionally by a remark or two.

“Thank you for bringing us out here, Y/N. You’re the sweetest” Jimin murmurs in a chair next to you, his hands moving from his lap to brush at the skin of your fluffy arm in a gentle manner.

“Oh, you are welcome, ChimChim. Anything for you guys” you assure him, patting his hand that stays placed on top of your wrist.

“I didn’t think we’d ever get to be out and about like this ever again, just us without cameras, without causing trouble” Yoongi confesses, with a bit of a slur and his accent coming out due to the few beers he had to drink.

“Yeah, me neither. It’s all thanks to you, sweetheart” Namjoon agrees, throwing you a dimpled smile that had you smiling right back at him.

“Guys, please, stop it” you say as you grow a bit embarrassed and uncomfortable.

“Ohh, I think she is blushing! Look at Y/N’s cute chubby cheeks going red!” Taehyung points out, a long index finger pointing playfully your way, a mischievous look in his eyes.

“Maybe the beer is getting to her head only now” Jin proposes in a chuckle, leaning forward to look at you with puffy lips tugging up.

“Shut up! It was only one beer, how lightweight to you think I am?” you try and defend yourself.

“Pretty lightweight if I recall from that night at the karaoke…” Jungkook chips in.

Knowing exactly the night he was referring to, and mortified that he would spill all the embarrassing bits to everyone, you end up taking your slipper and throwing at him. But he just catches it and giggles, throwing it back at you with measured strength.

“Wait, guys, shush!” Hoseok suddenly gasps from the opposite side from you, turning in his chair to look at the woods behind him. “Did… Did anyone hear that?”

“Is your mind already playing tricks on you, hyung?” Jimin questions.

“No, no, I heard something. Like a branch snapping” Hoseok persists, on edge. “A-Are there bears in this mountain or something?”

“You hear a branch cracking and your first thought goes immediately to bear?” Yoongi wonders, not sounding amused. “How about a rabbit, a fox or even a coyote before you think of something like a bear?”

Yoongi did have a point, and nobody heard anything except for Hoseok, but seeing how concern he was, you decide to appease him.

“I’ll call Taffy and ask her about what wildlife we are dealing with, okay, Hobi?”

“Thanks, Y/N, you’re a real angel. Unlike you guys!” He pouts at the rest of the group after throwing you an appreciative look of relief.

“Hey, Taffy, you there?” you say into the walkie-talkie you took out of your bag.

It takes her a minute or two, but she does respond.

“Hello there, gang. What’s up? Already bored?” she jokes.

“Nothing like that. Just wandering, what kind of animals are there in the mountain? We won’t be seeing any bears or anything like that, right?”

“Oh, we had some bears alright” she says through the static and Hoseok yelps while the rest of them widen their eyes at the walkie in your hands. You heart skips a bit in unexpected fright, but then she continues. “But since we are closed, there won’t be any large hairy gay men around any time soon, sorry to disappoint!”

A collective sigh of relief and a chuckle or two are heard around the fireplace and you pursue your lips as you close your eyes, imagining just smacking the back of her head if she was there with you for scaring you like that.

“Very funny, thanks for that” you sarcastically reply.

“No problem, anytime. But yeah, there’s only like foxes and wild cats to watch out for in here.”

“Good to know, we’ll be careful.”

“I see the smoke. You guys around a fireplace?”

“Yeah, we finished eating and we’re just relaxing before hitting the sack. Don’t worry, we’ll set it out before going to sleep” you promise her.

“Alright. Make sure the nine of you cuddle up for warmth, it will be cold tonight” she teases.

You know she is trying to tease and embarrass you, but you frown at what she says with a strange feeling instead. The boys don’t seem to pay it much attention apart from Namjoon and Jungkook, who look at you frowning as well.

“You mean eight. There is eight of us, me and the seven guys” you correct her.

The static goes silent for longer than it should and you realize that you have a bad feeling. Hoseok must have sensed it, cause his expression seems to mimic yours.

“She must have just counted wrong” Namjoon tries to calm you down.

“Hey” Taffy’s voice returns from the walkie and you don’t even realize you are now leaning in the chair, holding the device in front of you for everyone to hear it. “You guys all went down to the fountain to gather water, didn’t you?”

It was Jin who answered, a bit more serious now than he was before.

“Yeah, the buckets would be heavy to carry back to the camping site so we all went to help.”

“There are cameras every ten miles up the path and I saw you in one of them” she explains. “I’m looking at the recording right now and I count nine people walking by.”

A chill runs up your spine and your throat closes in on itself as you feel nauseated. This was not right; something was not right.

“Y/N, get everyone out. Come back to the station, there is someone else in the park!” your friend’s voice commands with assertiveness.

“OH MY GOD! I knew it, I knew it! There is A KILLER in here!” Hoseok starts to panic and, as much as you feel on the verge of terror yourself, you try to remain calm the best you can.

“Hobi, calm down” you say, running to him and placing your hands on his arms, rubbing them up and down through the sweater he had to try and keep him steady.

“Everyone on the van. NOW!” Namjoon orders and it takes less than thirty seconds for everyone to run inside the vehicle and leave all the stuff you had outside behind.

Instead of sitting, everyone seems to be looking out the windows with suspicion, into the dark distrustful woods, all the vehicle’s door locking as the sound of the motor roars to life. Only to stutter and crumble. Seven the heads suddenly snap to the driver’s seat, where Jungkook was again turning the key on the ignition. And the same happened.

“What the hell Jungkook! Get us out of here!” Jimin cries out, showcasing he was just as scared as Hoseok was looking right then.

“I’m trying! The van won’t start!” you can hear the guilt in his voice as he continues to try and try again to start the motor, but it just won’t work.

“We’re sitting prey! WE ARE SITTING PREY!” Hoseok is shaking profusely next to you and you hug him for support. His arms wrap around you as he leans his head against yours and breathes.

“No, we’re not. There was a ranger’s jeep on the side of that cabin next to the toilets, remember?” Namjoon starts, sounding a lot more confident than the clumsy man looked. “If we can get inside that cabin and find the keys, we can drive back to Taffy and wait for the police.”

“That’s IF we can even get to the cabin without encountering whoever is out there and IF we can get in and IF we can find the keys and IF the jeep even works!” Jin points out in a very matter of fact speedy speech that is difficult to keep up with. His nervousness was beginning to show. “How about we just lock ourselves here? Lock the van and wait for rescue? Y/N’s friend must have already called the police by now, we can wait here for them.”

“And be sitting ducks? Hell no!” Yoongi disagrees, biting at his nails before he speaks again. “I’m with Namjoon on this one. Whoever it’s out there, is just one person and there’s eight of us. And we don’t even know if they mean us any harm, they haven’t done anything yet.”

“Except messing with our van” Jungkook sighs irritated, giving up on starting the vehicle. “It worked perfectly before, someone must have messed with the engine.”

“Exactly, which means they wanted us here. They planned for us to stay here so, I say let’s get out there and try our luck with the jeep” Yoongi perseveres.

“You’re assuming they didn’t think we would wander off on our own, hyung! You don’t know! At least here we have four walls between us and whoever is out there, they wouldn’t get in” Jimin objects, sitting down and hugging his knees to his chest.

“Y-Yeah! S-so what if they shut the engine? We s-still have power so we can stay warm all night while they freeze outside!” Taehyung sides with Jimin, speaking for the first time in a while with evident fright in his voice but putting on a stoic front.

“What do you think, Y/N?” Jin asks you, coming to your side and taking your free hand into his while your other one was still around a terrified Hoseok’s back.

“I… I… I don’t know” you confess, completely undecisive. “Both ideas have their pros and cons. I don’t know which would be best, honestly.”

“Well, we do need your keys to try and get into the cabin. You still have the set of keys Taffy gave you, don’t you?” Namjoon asks.

“Oh, yeah, in my pocket” you say as you take them out. There were two other keys besides the ones for the toilets. “You think one of them is for the cabin?”

“Must be, right? It would make sense to have them all in one set if they’re next to each other.”

“I say let’s split up” Yoongi suddenly declares.

“What? That’s the worst idea, have you ever seen a horror movie?” Jungkook refutes. “We should all stick together, keep each other safe.”

“Well, we can’t seem to reach an agreement on what to do and we’re just wasting time. And this is not a horror movie, Jungkook, this is real life. We need to make our move and fast” Yoongi counters back.

“Let’s vote. Who wants to stay on the van?” Namjoon questions.

Jimin, Hoseok and Taehyung immediately raise their hands.

“Okay, who wants to try and get to the jeep?”

Namjoon and Yoongi raise their hands. Both Jin, Jungkook and you stay neutral, unsure of what to pick. But Yoongi was right, you had to make your move sooner rather than later. So, with a deep breath, you go and stand between Namjoon and Yoongi, your decision made.

“I want to try and get out of here. Siting here, doing nothing, just creeps me out. I’ll go with them.”

“No, Y/N!” Jimin pouts with worry and stretches his arm to pull on yours, but you shake your head. Seeing his sad expression, you take his face in between your hands and peck at his forehead.

“If we get to the jeep, we’ll come back for you so we can all leave this place together. No one gets left behind” you promise them.

“I’ll go with them too” Jungkook decides, getting up from his driver’s seat and joining the group. A protective hand lands on your shoulder and you feel a little bit better.

“Then I’ll stay on the van. Keep an eye on them” Jin decides.

“Okay, that’s settled. Everyone, we’ll open the door, gather our things and we’re running” Namjoon says.

“I bet Yoongi is wishing he stayed in the van right now” Jin teases to which Yoongi just scrunches up his small nose. He wasn’t much of a fan of running and neither were you, but you both would have to for now.

“Stay safe, all of you” Taehyung wishes, coming in for a hug. You hug him back and try not to let negative thoughts go over your mind.

“I better hear the motor of the jeep coming soon, okay?” Hoseok asks, obviously nervous for you all.

“We’ll be right back” you promise again, rubbing his arm up and down before leaving.

Jimin holds your hand again, not wanting to let you go, but giving up once you move out of reach. Jin opens the door for all of you to step out and kisses the top of your head before you descend from the van.

You grab your backpack and it’s on.

All of you run towards the cabin, staying close to one another and away from the edges of the woods where there was no light. It was like any shadow could be someone, hiding, ready to strike. But there were four of you. People used to say there is strength in numbers. Hopefully it wouldn’t come to testing that.

The cabin was not particularly far, but in the context of the situation you were in, it felt like a continent away. The seven hundred feet distance took much too long for comfort, with the night sky darkening with each step. The running footsteps of the four of you were so loud you couldn’t tell if someone was following you. You just kept going, trying not to slow down the group with your poor running speed, especially with Jungkook staying right behind you.

When the cabin was just a few feet away, when you struggled to get the keys out of your pants’ pockets while you ran, that’s when you all heard it. A faint noise of glass being broken. And screams.

“Oh my God, oh my God…” you whisper with a trembling voice.

All of you stopped in your tracks as you look back at where the screams were coming from. From the van. Something happened in the van.

“Fuck! Jungkook, stay with Y/N and get to the cabin! Find that key and meet us by the van, we have to go back and help them” Namjoon orders in an almost shouting command, those dark and bushy eyebrows pulled so closely together in apprehension and fear that they almost meet at the bridge of his nose. He was trying to remain brave, but he was just as scared as you all were.

“N-No! I need to go to! We need to help them!” you refuse, already trying to walk back to the van, but Jungkook’s arms come around your shoulders and he keeps you pressed to him while you struggled.

“Focus, Y/N! Me and Yoongi are going back, you two go get the car. NOW!”

They were already running back as he speaks, decision already made despite your aching heart. The youngest members pulls you along with him to the cabin, even as your head remains looking back, heart at your throat and praying to any God out there that they were all fine. That everything would be all fine.

“C’mon, Y/N… I’m sorry but we need to get the car and fast.” Jungkook presses, one hand around your back keeping you running forward to the cabin.

“T-They are okay, r-right?” you force yourself to speak despite the lump on your throat. “They can’t b-be… be hurt…”

Your voice ends up dying in your mouth as he looks away with clenched jaws, not able to give you the response you wanted. Not having a response to give, probably being just as terrified as you were. All of his hyungs were back there in danger, relying on him and you to go and get them out. With that in mind, you force yourself to focus on your tasks again.

You try the first key on the lock and it doesn’t fit. Hands shaking, you try the second key. It goes in. You turn it on the lock and a nervous and relieving chuckle escapes you as the mechanism of the latch opens.

“Okay, okay!” you utter as you open the door and get in.

“Right, search for the key of the jeep! Quick!”

Letting go of him, you start searching the small cabin. Every drawer, cabinet, even under the rug gets searched. The plan was cemented around finding this key and getting to the jeep. The key had to be here, it just had to be. You went into the bathroom, even rummaging through the med kits in hopes it was somehow lost in there. It came to you then, that you still had the walkie talkie with you in the bag.

“Kook! I’ll try to ask Taffy on the radio again” you yell out to him, already taking the walkie out of your bag. “Taffy, can you hear me? Taffy, are you there?”

There’s only static. And silence.

The back of your neck breaks into goosebumps. It was silent. The cabin had gone absolutely dead silent. Not a single step, not a single breath, not a single movement was heard.

“Kook?” You step out of the bathroom slowly, wide restless eyes searching around the hallway and peering into the bedroom next to the restroom. Much to your terror, no one’s there. “… J-Jungkook?”

No one answers. You voice cracks as you call for him when walking into the dark living room, tears of distress gathering at your eyes that strained to see with only the moonlight coming in through the windows. The white light bounced off the furniture, the sofa and cabinets and the table. But no Jungkook. There was no one at the cabin. You were suddenly all alone.

“Oh no… oh no…” you whisper into the darkness, completely frozen as you don’t know what to do anymore.

Your body crumbles beneath you and you feel at a complete lost. So, you just do what you’ve been avoiding all this time: you break down and cry. It starts in small sobs but soon you are drenching your hands as they hide your face, crying your heart out.

“CODE RED! CODE RED!”

It all happens so fast you can barely keep up. Eight figures jump out from behind the large sofa on the other side of the room, a loud bang releases a bunch of confetti suddenly into the hair and someone crunches down in front of you with a hand on your shoulder. Through your tears, it takes you a while to realize it’s Jungkook.

“W-What?” is all you manage to say as you sob.

“Damn it, guys! I told you this would make her cry!” a voice you recognized too well says. It was Taffy, standing among the boys with a tray of food in her hand.

“Hey, Y/N, it’s okay, you’re okay” Jimin, who came to squat down next to Jungkook and took your hand into his, says in a calming sweet voice.

“But… the van and the screams…” you whisper back, your brain trying to make sense of the mess you found yourself in.

“Sorry, sunshine! We didn’t mean to scare you this much!” Hoseok apologizes. “Someone dropped a glass cup while we waited and it scared me, so I may have screamed a bit too loud.”

Hoseok shoots a look at Jimin, who whispers another ‘sorry’ to you. Your eyes wonder around all of them and you find yourself staring blankly at Jin, who just shrugs.

“Happy Halloween?” he expresses.

“We may have gone a bit overboard. But we were also trying to prove a point! We agreed to not get each other gifts anymore and you went ahead and planned all of this for us. So, we planned something for you too” Namjoon starts explaining.

“We definitely over did it. She’s crying, hyung!” Taehyung points out, with a guilty expression.

“Yeah, we’re not the best at coming up with a plan at the last minute like this. All of this was just supposed to spook her, not terrify Y/N like this. And there should have been a lot less running!” Yoongi complains.

That brings a chuckle from everyone except you, as you are still processing it all.

“S-So… So, this was all fake? To scare me for Halloween?” you sum up their explanation the best your jumbled brain could.

The guys and your friend all share a look, before answering you in unison.

“Yes.”

Slowly, you stand up, your bulky legs no longer shaking, eyes closed as you inhale deeply and exhale soundly. When you open your eyes again, there are eight pair of worried ones staring at you. And you only had one thing to say.

“I hate all of your stupid faces!”

It’s a lie and they all know it. To apologize and earn your forgiveness, you are suddenly pulled into a group hug by the boys while your friend turns on the lights of the cabin and prepares the fireplace.

You spend the rest of the Halloween night hearing all about their malicious plan, the preparations and outrageous ideas they came up with before settling on this one. You never thought you would be grateful to only have gone through this situation until you heard some of their ‘spookier’ concepts they had. And, although you wouldn’t admit it to them, this would be the Halloween you would tell everyone about until your old years to come. It would be the most memorable Halloween of your life.

Sitting in the back of their temporary studio in the U.S, you gaze out of the window longingly, watching the city life below you. “Hobi?” you call out once the music stops. “Hm?” he hums in acknowledgement, his eyes meeting yours through the mirror. “Are you guys gonna be done soon? I wanna go explore,” you ask him, your eyes sparkling with excitement.

Hoseok gives you a regretful look as he shakes his head at you. The concert was tomorrow and they had to make sure they were prepared. “We still have a lot of practicing to do,” he tells you solemnly. You pout at him but you don’t complain, understanding that every second in the studio was valuable. He watches you as you look out the window longingly, your chest rising and falling with a disappointed sigh.

He feels bad for keeping you here. He knows that you know you’re not forced to stay here and you can go out whenever you want. But he also knows it’s something you wanted to do with them. “I wanna explore too!” Jungkook interrupts Hoseok’s thoughts. “Me too!” Jimin and Taehyung echo him. “Can we go? Please Hobi Hyung?” Jimin begs the dance leader. Taehyung quickly joins Jimin’s side, giving his best tata mic face.

“It’ll just be a short break, we’ll be back soon,” Taehyung tries to convince him. Hoseok’s eyes move from the three maknaes to you, seemingly holding your breath as you wait for his answer. Everyone has been working hard and it’s been a while since they took a break. “Fine,” he breathes out, not having the heart to crush the hope in your eyes. “But be back in two hours,” he adds on, looking at you as he says it.

He knows the younger three have a tendency to not listen so he was trusting you to bring them back in time. It was about 6:00 pm so you were to be back by 8:00 pm. You playfully salute him as you give him a determined nod, promising to be back in two hours. Hoseok chuckles, finding you absolutely adorable. “Anyone else want to come?” you ask. “I need a nap,” Yoongi answers, flopping on the couch at the back of the room. “And I need a break from those three,” Jin says, nudging his head towards the maknaes.

You look to Hoseok but he’s already starting the music up again, focused on perfecting his craft. “We’re okay, Y/n,” Namjoon reassures you with a smile, “Go have some fun.” The maknaes don’t give you a moment to dwell on it, dragging you out of the studio. The four of you walk around the city, familiarizing yourselves with the area but when you come across an arcade, you can’t resist, excitedly running inside like a bunch of children.

You constantly check your phone for the time, not wanting to disappoint Hoseok by being late. And around 7:30 pm, you tell the maknaes to pick one last game so that you have more than enough time to head back. But when you’re about halfway back to the studio, Jimin suddenly lets out a loud gasp. You all turn to find him patting down his pockets with a panicked look on his face, “I forgot my phone at the arcade!”

Your eyes widen as you pull out your own phone, looking at the time. 7:45 pm. You know that if you guys head back to the arcade, you won’t make it back in time. But Jimin’s phone is valuable and it would be really bad if his phone got into the hands of the wrong person. “You guys go back to the studio and I’ll go get Jimin’s phone,” you tell them, quickly devising a plan. It was more important they get back on time than you do.

“But it’s not safe for you to go alone,” Jungkook frowns. The sun had already started to set and it would be dark by the time you reached the arcade. Conflicted, you all decide to just run back to the arcade to find Jimin’s phone and then run back to the studio as fast as possible.

image

Bursting into the studio, you place your hands on your knees, doubling over as you pant harshly. Your harsh breathing fills the room as the four of you try to catch your breaths. “You’re late,” Hoseok says simply, but it sends shivers down your spine. “I’m sorry Hobi, we-” you struggle to speak between breaths but Jimin takes over for you. “It’s my fault, Hyung, we were on our way back when-”

“Enough,” Hoseok’s voice silences everyone immediately, “We’ve wasted enough time and you guys were supposed to be taking a break but you’re out of breath.” They immediately straighten up, Jungkook speaking up, “We’re okay to practice!” The maknaes immediately jump back in while you make your way to the back of the room, watching quietly. Guilt washes over you as you watch the younger ones practice diligently despite being exhausted from running.

As soon as they get a water break, you hurry to hand the three of them a bottle of water, smiling apologetically before you take a bottle over to Hoseok. He accepts it without even looking at you, taking a sip as you nervously play with your hands. “I’m really sorry we were late, Hobi. We had to go back because…” you trail off when he closes the bottle and places it on the floor before walking away, completely ignoring you.

Your eyes burn with unshed tears when he brushes you off, not even giving you a chance to explain why you were late. But what hurts more is that you disappointed him. He trusted you to bring them back in time because he knew that you knew how important it was, but you couldn’t even do that for him. Everyone says that getting praise from Hoseok is the best feeling in the world. But no one ever talks about how disappointing him is the absolute worst feeling one could ever experience.

When they finally end practice for the night, you quietly follow Hoseok back to the hotel. When you two enter your shared hotel room, Hoseok immediately heads for the bedroom. You hear the sound of the connected bathroom door shutting as you take off your shoes, the sound of running water soon following. You’re sure that Hoseok doesn’t really want to see you right now so you grab your clothes from the bedroom while he’s showering.

Rubbing his hair with a towel as he walks out of the bathroom, Hoseok looks over to the bed, frowning when he sees it’s completely untouched. Hoseok peeks outside, finding you asleep on the couch. He calls room service, asking for an extra blanket before going into the kitchen to make himself a quick dinner. When room service arrives, he thanks them for the blanket before laying it on top of you, carefully tucking you in before turning in for the night.

When you finally hear the gentle click of the bedroom door closing, you finally let your tears spill over as sobs wrack your body, tightly clutching the blanket in your hands as you bury your face in your pillow.

image

The next morning, Hoseok is immediately hit with the delicious smell of pancakes when he walks out of the bedroom. “Good morning!” you greet him cheerfully, “Come have breakfast, I made pancakes!” Although the smell of your pancakes was practically making his salivate, he walks straight past them, grabbing a water bottle from the fridge before he’s out the door. You had hoped that maybe he wouldn’t be upset anymore but clearly, you were wrong.

You stare sadly at the stack of pancakes you woke up so early to make, having to wake up extra early just to go out and buy the ingredients. Having suddenly lost your appetite, you start packing them up before taking them to the maknaes’ rooms. You leave for the concert venue a little later, needing some time to get yourself together.

Nervously standing backstage, you watch as they get last-minute touch-ups, mere seconds away from getting on stage. You never doubted any of their abilities to give a perfect performance but you can’t help but feel at fault when you can see Hoseok’s noticeable nerves. He wasn’t one to usually be nervous as he always makes sure they’re all as prepared as possible, but time simply didn’t allow that this time.

As they all hit their last ending pose, you let out a huge sigh of relief. Everyone performed perfectly and you couldn’t be more proud. Seeing as they were saying their last goodbye to ARMY, you take the chance to slip away. You don’t know if Hoseok is still upset with you but in case he is, you don’t want to ruin tonight for him.

As soon as they get off stage, Hoseok’s eyes search for you. One of the staff members notices the confusion on his face when he can’t find you and they can guess who he’s looking for. “Y/n left a few minutes ago,” the staff member informs him. “She left?” Hoseok asks in confusion, “Why? Is she not feeling well?” As soon as they finished performing the last song, it was like a huge weight was lifted from his shoulders. He had just been so stressed and he took it out on you, but now that he can think clearly, he realizes he was much too harsh.

“I’m not sure,” the staff member answers honestly. Although they found it a bit strange since you always leave with Hoseok, it wasn’t their place to ask. Hoseok was concerned but he’s forced to push it to the back of his mind as they’re rushed back to the hotel to get on v-live.

On your way back to the hotel, you ask the driver to make a quick stop at a Korean grocery store you noticed when you went out with the maknaes. You were sure the boys must miss it so you decided to cook them a nice, hot, homemade meal to remind them of home.

image

About halfway through the v-live, the staff wheel in a cart of steaming hot bowls and plates of food. “We ordered some food from a local Korean restaurant,” the staff tell them as they place the food around the table. You were afraid that Hoseok wouldn’t eat it if he knew you made it so you requested the staff to tell them it was from a restaurant. “Wah!” “It smells good!” The boys finish the food at record speed, scraping the plates clean.

“What’s the name of the restaurant you got this from?” Jin asks curiously when they end the v-live, wanting to know in case they ever visit again. It’s only then that the staff reveal the food was actually made by you but you asked them not to tell. “Why didn’t she want us to know?” Jimin asks, confused. The staff assumed it was just to protect your identity on the live but even they weren’t sure. But Hoseok has an inkling as to why you tried to hide it and it only makes him want to see you more. Dismissing himself to go find you, the boys all wish Hoseok goodnight.

Unlocking the door to your hotel room, Hoseok calls out into the darkness, “Y/n?” He searches everywhere for you, the living room, the bedroom, even the bathroom but there’s no sign of you. Walking into the kitchen, he finds a note from you on the little notepad every hotel room has.

Hey Hobi! You guys performed so well tonight! Perfect as always :) I’m sure you’re tired and probably want some space so I booked a separate hotel room. So don’t worry about me!
Rest well
y/n<3

Hoseok can’t help but frown as he reads your letter again. Had he pushed you that far that you couldn’t even stay in the same room as him? Dialling the staff, he asks if any of them know what your room number is. “Y/n’s room number? Isn’t she staying with you?” Hoseok tells them that you said you had booked another one. “I’m sorry Hoseok-ssi, she didn’t tell us anything about booking another room. But there’s no way she could’ve found an empty hotel room tonight. The whole city is booked with ARMYs coming to see you.”

Quickly thanking the staff, Hoseok hangs up before calling the other members. He asks them if you’re staying with any of them or if they know where you are but when they all answer “no” Hoseok starts to get worried. He rushes out of the hotel room, impatiently tapping his foot against the floor as the elevator makes its descent to the ground floor. Dialling your number, he holds his phone up to his ear, listening to the ringing sound as he makes his way through the lobby.

Taking a quick glance around, he freezes when he spots a familiar bucket hat over the back of a couch. Not wanting anyone to recognize you and worry about you, you had taken one of Hoseok’s bucket hats to cover your face. He had so many that none of the staff or other members would immediately recognize you, but of course Hoseok would know a piece of his own wardrobe.

Hoseok quickly rounds the couch to find you curled up on the couch. Your knees were pulled up to your chest as you lay your cheek on top of your knees. Slightly lifting the bucket hat to make sure it’s you, he notices the dried tear stains on your cheeks upon closer inspection. Frowning, Hoseok unwraps your arms from your legs, wrapping them around his neck instead before he wraps your legs around his waist, carrying you like a baby koala.

Bring you back to the hotel room, he gently lays you in bed, taking the bucket hat off of you before climbing in behind you. He pulls you closer until your back is pressed against his chest, whispering apologies into your hair before he eventually lets sleep take over.

image

Waking up, you slowly peel your eyes open, immediately panicking when you realize this isn’t the same place you fell asleep. But then you feel a familiar pair of arms tighten around your waist as Hoseok nuzzles into your hair. “Good morning,” he mumbles. Not ready to confront him yet, you try to act like you’re still asleep but Hoseok had felt your breathing suddenly increase. “I know you’re awake,” he says simply. He then gently gathers your hair to one side and starts placing kisses on the back of your neck.

“Is your neck sore from yesterday?” he asks, referring to the uncomfortable position he found you sleeping in. You shake your head but then you immediately feel the tightness in your muscles. Hoseok gently massages it for you, placing one last kiss on your neck before turning you in his arms to face him. Afraid to meet his eyes, you bring your hands to play with the necklace hanging from his neck. “I’m sorry,” he apologizes as he leans down to place another kiss on your forehead, causing your hands to stop playing with his necklace.

“I shouldn’t have been so hard on you. I was just stressed and I took it out on you. I’m really sorry for that,” he tells you and when you finally look up at him, you can see the guilt swimming in his eyes. “It’s okay Hobi, I’m sorry too. I should’ve made sure we were back on time,” you apologize but he shakes his head at you. “I asked the impossible of you, those three are really out of control,” he says, making you giggle.

“The food you made last night was delicious. All the boys wanted me to tell you how good it was,” he smiles down at you, “And you don’t know how much I was regretting not eating the pancakes you made when I was eating the breakfast the hotel offers. They smelled so good.” You laugh at how he starts to drool at the thought of your pancakes. “It’s okay, they didn’t go to waste. I gave them to the maknaes since they always sleep in late and they practically devoured them,” you tell him.

He lets out a groan at that. “They’re stealing you away from me,” he whines adorably. “We still have a lot of ingredients left over, do you want to make more pancakes for breakfast today?” you suggest. His eyes light up at your offer, nodding enthusiastically. You move to climb out of bed but he’s quick to pull you back, “But I’m making them today. You’ve done too much for me, it’s my turn to take care of you.” You pout at him, about to protest when he starts peppering your face with kisses.

You giggle, playfully shouting at him to stop before he finally places one last kiss on your lips. Leaning his forehead against yours, he closes his eyes as he whispers, “Thank you for always taking care of me.”

Jimin was heartbroken, a thin layer of tears covered his eyes, yet he didn’t let any of them roll out of his eyes. Jimin was prideful. He wouldn’t let anyone tear him down. You knew he was hurt, but he was going to hide it and just party and go around with random people. It wasn’t the first time you’ve seen Jimin like this, but he always got better, he knew how to heal his own heart. He was strong as hell.

Something by Girl’s Day was playing loudly through your speakers, Jimin was singing every word while you were trying to replicate the choreography. Yoongi was in the kitchen making some drinks for everyone “he didn’t even cheat on you, Jimin. Why this song?” Yoongi placed the drinks on the coffee table while look at his two friends making a dramatic performance of that song “He didn’t… but he lied to me about being okay with my job, so it counts” Jimin reached to the table to grab a cup and pour it down his throat.

You were on your second round of drinks when light knocks on your door captured everyone’s attention “shhh, I think it’s him” Jimin ran to lower the music’s volume while Yoongi started at the door with pure curiosity.

You fixed your hair and dress before opening the door with a big smile, a smile that faded away when you recognized who was standing in front of you. “Y-You… a-are you lost? Are you looking for someone” he looked at you starting to play with his fingers. “I’m Seok” his voice was hushed, but you could still hear it. “What?” naturally, you were surprised, what were the chances? “From twitter?”

Jimin grew anxious, you weren’t coming back, and none of you knew this guy. What if he was some crazy dude and was trying to steal your house? He walked to the door letting a scream out of his chest when he saw Seok standing in front of you. His scream alarmed Yoongi, who didn’t waste much time to run where you guys were.

Hoseok looked like a scared kitty right now, trying to convince himself this wasn’t a bad idea that you guys could still have a good time even after finding out who he was “YN, where are your manners? Let the poor guy in” Jimin took Hoseok’s hand and dragged him inside your house. You and Yoongi looked at each other with surprise and without a clue of what to do now.

The first minutes were uncomfortable, Jimin was just staring at Hoseok while you and Yoongi were trying to figure out a way to make this whole situation less weird “so… Uhm… Seok, do you want some drinks? I made them myself” with a head gesture Yoongi pointed at the drinks in the coffee table. Hoseok smiled a little bit before reaching for one of the drinks.

“I can’t believe it’s you. It’s funny, a few weeks ago Yn was about to have something with R-” you cut Jimin’s words before he could tell Hoseok about your little thing with one of his friends. “ignore him, he is a little drunk. He is Jimin, by the way, and our bartender is Yoongi. They are my best friends” Hoseok smiled at both of them finishing his drink after that “I don’t know if this was a good idea. I feel like I just ruined your party” Yoongi shook his head in negation sitting on the individual couch. “I think you just made it better. Jimin has a crush on you or something” as soon as those words left Yoongi’s lips, Jimin turned completely red, he looked at Yoongi and threw a cushion in his direction “what? you are always complimenting him”

It took a little more alcohol for you guys to relax and start to treat Hoseok like a friend and not a celebrity. Even though the ones talking to him were Jimin and Yoongi, you were just looking at him or dancing to any song Jimin played. Of course, you wanted to talk to him, but you knew how much Jimin liked him, so you just let your little friend enjoy Hoseok’s company; after all, you’ll have him for the rest of the night.

“Let’s go drunk baby. You are staying at my place tonight.” Yoongi carried Jimin over his back, who was just mumbling some gibberish. “Remind him that we need to be at 5 pm at the studio, please” Yoongi nodded before leaning towards you and leaving a small peck in your lips. He looked at Hoseok and winked at him “we are just friends, okay? That’s something we’ve always do” Hoseok turned his head looking at his feet while waiting for you.

“You could’ve told me who you were. I know how to keep a secret” Hoseok looked nervous again. Maybe he relaxed since more people were around, but now it was you and him. “I didn’t want to scare you. I truly liked you” his voice was soft but a little louder, maybe thanks to the alcohol.

“You wouldn’t. Even if you were old or shorter, I wouldn’t mind” you took his cup out of his hand, putting it down, held his hand and started to walk towards your room, “where are we going?” you could feel his hand shaking “to my room.”

You stared at him while sitting down on your bed. He looked so lost and clueless. It was so adorable. He took little steps and was about to sit down on the other side of your bed. “No. Stan where you were,” you smiled at him, pointing at the frame door. “close the door” he did just as you told.  “Unbutton your shirt but don’t take it off.” at first, Hoseok looked confused, but as soon he started to unbutton his shirt, he understood what was going on. “I knew you had abs,” he began to blush and look everywhere, but you “actually, take everything off but your boxers.” You looked carefully at his body. It was beautiful. His skin color was a little tan, and you could see some bruises, probably because of all the dancing he did while performing. His hands were shaking while taking off pieces of clothing. His hair was a little bit sweaty because of alcohol. His face was also a little greasy, and it honestly made him more attractive.

“Hobi” he looked at you with a soft smile “Hobi?” you nodded, smiling at him “My new nickname for you. Come closer, Hobi” he liked the nickname. It made him feel cute. Your hand started to touch his skin, beginning from his arms to his belly “you are so beautiful, Seokie” he smiled “Am I?” he wasn’t asking to build his ego up, you noticed he was asking cause he doubted you and that made your heart feel small and sad.

“Why don’t you believe me?” you kneeled on your bed, getting on his height, you took his cheeks into your hands caressing them softly. “why would I lie to you?” before he could even think in a reason you kissed him, at first it was soft, letting him adjust to your lips. Then the kiss started to grow more and more urgent.

“Take my clothes off” he nodded without letting go of your lips, even while you were talking he didn’t want to stop kissing you. In a matter of seconds, you both were laying down in your bed, you only wearing your panties and Hoseok his boxers.

You took his hands, guiding him slowly into your underwear “I- I’ve never” you shushed him with another kiss, “let me teach you.” You layed on your back, opening your legs slightly “you just gotta be gentle at first, okay?” your hand guided him with the first movement, touching you close to your desired are but not there yet.

The excitement started to grow on your body, feeling more and more anxious every time he wanted to take the lead, it was cute how he let a growl out when you didn’t let him do it alone.  “stop” your voice was husky, and he liked it “get on the middle of the bed.” He did whatever you asked him to, and it made you so excited. The guys you talked to never obeyed you, they liked to get “punished” but Hoseok was obedient. It probably was thanks to how inexperienced he was.

“This is a little bit like kissing” you left a last small kiss on his lips before getting on the bed. He licked his lips, knowing precisely what was going to happen. You looked for a comfortable position “if you need air or to stop just tap slightly on my legs and, no teeth for now” he nodded, you lowered yourself sitting on his face. A small moan escaped from your lips when his breath hit you. “put your hands on my hips” he didn’t even start to touch you yet. He was waiting for your indications. You took his hands with yours. Smiling at your reflection in the mirror in front of your bed.

“Start kissing my thighs.” You bited your lips as soon as his lips made contact with your skin. “You can get closer, Seokie.” after a little of foreplay, you felt the urge to start to feel his mouth deeper. “You-You can start to…” Your words stopped by the feeling of Hoseok’s tongue inside of you. He was as desperate as you, maybe even a little more. He started to move his tongue, giving you long strokes, slow and shy ones. It was almost as if he was testing how far he could go, yet he didn’t wait for your approval before he started to go deeper inside of you, playing carefully with your clit. He wasn’t giving it much attention. He preferred to taste every other placer of your private area.

“Fuck” breathy moans started to leave your lips, your hands left his long ago, now they were on his chest, caressing, scratching it and even pinching it depending on whatever Hoseok decided to do. “Move it in circles.” He grabbed your hips with a little bit more of pressure starting to do as you told. You could feel your orgasm beginning to grow the more he played with you. Your nails began to scratch him, making him moan under you, driving you crazier. Your hips started to move at his rhythm, looking for a release.

“Fuck, Seokie,” your hands grabbed his chest, looking for some balance while you started to feel your climax on his pretty face. He didn’t stop his movements until you got yourself off of him. You looked at him, smiling and then letting a little laugh out. He was licking his lips, but he still managed to look cute as fuck. “Am going to take a shower” he looked at you, confused. You knew he was expecting you to continue. That’s precisely why you wanted to make him wait a little more, play with him a little. “You can get comfortable in bed. I’ll be right back. I need to sleep early. Tomorrow I have to work” you left a little kiss on his lips before running to your bathroom, smiling at how confused Hoseok looked when you left the bedroom.

Pairing ~ Jung Hoseok X Reader

Theme ~ Vampire AU

A/N ~ Ok, so I know I said I wasn’t sure if I would continue this but apparently my brain wanted to, all though I’m unsure how many parts there will be.

This one is from the readers POV and the confusion around when she first wakes up from part one, enjoy.

How long had it been since I woke up? How long was it since I first felt the cold that now permanently ran through my body? And how long since the sickening sweet scent of blood forced its way unto me?

The memory was still vivid but the days or weeks since had been a mere blur, merging together as I replayed those first moments over and over again.

My skin was so cold that the flesh seemed to be burning, the light of the room, dangling above my head like a pendulum, making it hard to open my eyes above anything but a flicker.

My fingertips slid with slight resistance across an ice cold yet smooth surface, a high pitched squeak piercing my eardrums every time my fingers skidded.

Panic flushed through my body as I tried to remember where I was. My toes twitched once I recalled. This, was not my bed.

I blinked wildly as I attempted to see my surroundings but the attempt was futile, the light blurred my vision, rendering my eyes useless.

Spasms like ripples ran through my body, my limbs uncooperative, resisting my command to a fluid movement and instead, knocked everything over as my body awkwardly rolled off whatever I had been laying on.

I fell to the floor, landing on my side, my body twisted in itself. The impact forcing shockwaves through my body but I could feel no pain. Why wasn’t there any pain?

Pushing myself up, I blocked out the obtrusively bright light with my arm. With squinted eyes, my blurry vision made out a silver table sat before me. Had that been what I was laying on?

My eyes dropped to the floor in confusion, the sight of my completely bare skin caught my eye. What was going on?

The last thing I could remember was that man sitting beside me, a feeling of peace as I drifted away, confusion setting in with his words.

“Don’t thank me yet, not until you wake up”

What had he done to me? He was supposed to help me die quickly in peace rather than slowly rot away in pain like I had been for years.

But here I was, cold, alone and confused.

The emotions swirling inside me were cut away suddenly, replaced by a primal darkness as my nose twitched, sniffing the air. A sweet copper scent filled it, I could feel my pupils dilate and my stomach growl. I’d never been so hungry in my life.

My body moved on it’s own, lifting me off the ground to crawl on the floor, following the scent to its source.

The blur that had once hindered my sight now lifted, I could make out the room, almost everything was made of metal, scrubbed to the point that it burnt my eyes when the light reflected from it.

I was getting close, I could feel my hairs standing on end, like my body was preparing for it.

Another table, just like the one I had just come from. Using the legs, I pulled myself up. Licking my lips, I braced myself on the counter to support my body that felt like dead weight. My once sturdy arms now trembled and my eyes widened in horror with what I saw.

It was a man, completely naked, his skin more pale than anybody’s I’d seen before, his lips cracked and deep blue, his chest cut open, exposing his organs stained bright red. My nose twitched, catching that scent again. It had been him, that smell that took over my senses had come from that hole that laid in his open chest.

“No…” I called meekly, my body shook with fear as I backed away from him, stumbling and falling once I had no support to lean on. I could feel my hunger grow the further I got from his lifeless body but I had to get away, I flailed on the floor, my arms and legs kicking at it as I tried to push away, tears streaming down my face at the fact that I had hungered for another human.

I caught sight of something moving in my peripheral vision but my body refused to act in time to do anything let alone get away.

A black mass was thrown over my body, someone worked quick to wrap it around me as a raspy voice spoke in a soft tone as if they were speaking to a frightened child. “It’s ok”

My eyes shot over at the familiar voice, the man I’d called to help end my suffering was crouched beside me, his eyes moist, twinkling with a sadness as he looked back at me.

“What…. Happened to me?” I asked, voice wavering as I fought with the tears that refused to back down.

“I’ll explain later” he replied softly, his gaze shifted away from me as he scooped me up and held me to his chest. “For now, we need to get you out of here”

I closed my eyes, my head nuzzled into the crook of his neck, my hand grasped at the fabric of his jacket as an odd peaceful sensation ran through me from his touch. It was almost as if we were bound to one another by some unseen force, like somehow we were connected.

More specifically, that you wanted to dance on the moon. Little did you know, years down the line, how far from that your reality would be. Far from dancing among the stars, you find yourself struggling after losing the love of your life to someone else, working two jobs just to get by, and trying to take care of the one good thing that came out of your fractured relationship – your little girl.
What you don’t realize, and often hate to admit, is that everyone needs a little help sometimes. That everyone needs someone to help take care of them sometimes. That it’s not just children that need that help.

chapter warnings: Some kissing and the ending is kind of suggestive, but y’know, still pg13. There’s (brief) talk of the custody battle in this one. Since my knowledge of the legal system in South Korea is limited and there’s not much to be found on the internet about certain proceedings, I’m doing my best to write about it without writing about it in detail. I know the system is still in favor of the mother under normal circumstances, but I don’t know much about how things are settled there. I only know what I’ve witnessed first-hand from the American legal system, which obviously is not the same thing. Feel free to correct me if something is incorrect. I’m always open to learning new things

Hoseok takes a deep breath and runs a hand through his hair, reaching for his water bottle on the studio floor and taking a deep chug from it. His heart is still racing from class, fire pumping through his veins and warming him to the bone. His body actually itches to get back onto the dance floor and release his pent-up energy, release the tension threatening to take home in his limbs.

Because he’s nervous. He hasn’t heard from you all day, nothing but a brief “here goes nothing” text before your meeting with the lawyer, and nobody’s received word on how that’s going yet. It’s been a couple of hours at the very least since it was scheduled to begin, leading him to believe things aren’t going particularly well.

He doesn’t know how these things work, he’s wholly oblivious to the process, but he knows the court system is still usually in favor of the mother. Especially when it’s a daughter that’s involved, even more so when it’s a daughter that needs a little more nurturing than others. One that needs that softness and comfort.

He has no doubt you’ll win in the end, but he also has no idea what kind of case Yohan could have against you. Who were you when you were with him? Hoseok realizes he has no idea.

When Binna comes out of the locker room, freshly showered and with her hat snugly on her head, Hoseok does his best to push the worries aside. The last thing she needs is to see another adult stressed about this. He’s sure she’s aware of what a big day it is, even if she doesn’t fully understand why.

“Hobi-ssi?” Binna questions, voice soft and hesitant.

Her shy demeanor confuses him, so used to her being happy and giggly after class. It makes his heart ache to think that maybe she does understand what’s going on.

He crouches down in front of her and smiles. “Yes, Binna?”

She tugs her bag higher on her shoulder, a soft pout tugging at her lips. “Can I ask you and Jimin-ssi a question?”

He lifts his eyebrows in slight surprise, but nods, glancing toward Jimin as he comes out of the men’s locker room. “Jimin-ah!”

Jimin is still running a towel through his hair, blinking curiously in their direction. “Yeah?”

“Binna wants to talk to us about something.” Hoseok lifts his eyebrows pointedly, hoping his message is received. Could be serious. Could not be. Either way, they should be prepared.

Jimin’s eyes widen and he settles the towel around his neck before jogging over and joining Hoseok in front of Binna, lowered onto one knee. “What is it, Binnie?”

The little girl looks between the two of them, twisting her fingers together in front of her in a way that communicates her nerves. She worries her bottom lip and then lets out a sigh. “The showcase is coming up soon…”

Hoseok frowns, exchanging a look with Jimin before reaching out to squeeze Binna’s arm. “Are you nervous about it?”

She shakes her head, glancing to the floor. “No, I – well, other students…they’re going to be dancing on their own…”

Jimin nods. “They’ll be doing both, dancing with their class and performing solo.”

“Can–” she pauses, finally meeting their gaze before it skitters away again. “I was wondering if I could…do that?”

Hoseok blinks. “You want to do a solo performance?”

Her expression shifts into worry. “I just…I have an idea and I want to work on it with one of you and I want to show it to everyone at the showcase and have it be a surprise for eomma–”

“Whoa, whoa,” Jimin laughs lightly – a quiet, tinkling thing that makes Binna pause and blush. He reaches for Binna’s hand and rubs his thumb across her knuckles. “Slow down, Binnie. Of course we’ll work with you on it.”

Her eyes grow wide, looking into their smiling faces with a mixture of excitement and shock. “Really?”

Hoseok is the one to laugh this time, rubbing his hand across her arm and nodding. “Of course! What did you have in mind?”

Her blush grows deeper and she shifts excitedly on her feet. “Well…”

~*~*~

It’s later than any of you planned by the time you get back home from the meeting. Binna is in her room with Jimin, working on her homework, one of the stipulations she’d agreed to before spending time with Jihoon the next night. Hoseok is in the kitchen, rifling through cupboards and mapping out ideas of what to make everyone for dinner.

He sets the various ingredients he’d pulled from the cupboards down when he hears the front door open. He quickly peeks around the corner, eyeing you eagerly as you step through. His expression falters when he sees just how tired you are.

“Not good?” he questions quietly as he approaches, pulling you into a hug that you immediately sink into.

“Not bad,” you counter, eyes moving toward Binna’s open door. When he goes to question you further, you shake your head. “This isn’t over yet.”

Hobi releases a breath and wraps you tighter in his arms. “I’m sorry it can’t be easier.”

You let out a humorless, tired laugh and bury your face in his chest. “Me too.”

The two of you stand that way for a while, just inside your door with your arms wrapped around each other, breathing each other in and sinking into each other’s warmth. You so desperately needed this, you realize, after such a long day. There are so many things that happened that afternoon that you’re left feeling a little nervous, a little uneasy by the turn of events.

You don’t believe Yohan has much of a case against you, but he definitely didn’t withhold any punches during the meeting, trying his best to control the room even to his own lawyer’s frustration.

He’s a fool, you remind yourself. Everyone can see through him.

Still, the things he says to you replay in your mind.

You’re not fit to be a mother. You don’t discipline her enough. You treat her like a baby even though she’s getting older every day. You have to prepare her for the real world.

What if you don’t want to prepare your ten-year-old daughter for the real world yet? What if you want to shield her from it? Protect her from all the cruel realities that she’ll one day face?

What if you want her to remain young…if only for a little bit longer?

Is 10-years-old really old enough to be so independent? Does she really not need you anymore?

But no. You know better. You know her better than he ever will.

Because he doesn’t care. He all but admitted that by the end of the meeting, in the way he spoke of her like a pawn in his game.

Except he doesn’t make the rules this time. You doubt he even knows them.

Your lawyer made it clear what the outcome would be if this all got laid out before a judge – all the text messages you saved, the things your daughter told you, the things your friends have witnessed. It all leans in your favor, even if Binna’s claims are mere hearsay. Her feelings are still valid.

And your lawyer, trying his best to keep Binna out of the proceedings, didn’t forget to mention that they technically could get her opinion on the matter too if it came to that.

“Who do you think your daughter would most like to stay with?”

That shut Yohan up. Does he know? Does he care? Is he aware of the way his actions affect his daughter?

You’re not sure. All you know is that you’re tired.

Exhausted, even.

Finally, your eyes open and drift to the kitchen, and you shift on your feet. “Were you making food?”

Hobi glances over his shoulder at the mess he’s made, a faint blush tinting his cheeks. “Oh, uh, I was thinking about making dinner…but I could always order something if that’d be easier. I didn’t mean to raid your cupboards.”

You muster a smile and shake your head, placing a kiss to his cheek before stepping away from his embrace. You walk toward the kitchen, eyeing the ingredients. “That’s okay. What were you thinking of making?”

“I wasn’t sure yet,” he admits with a sheepish grin. “I’m not actually much of a cook.”

“Neither am I,” Jimin pipes up from Binna’s doorway with a raise of his hand.

You look between the two of them with amusement. “How do the two of you survive in the same apartment?”

“Takeout,” they chorus, making you laugh.

You roll your eyes and shake your head, catching Binna’s shy gaze peeking out from behind Jimin. Your smile widens. “Hi Binna-boo! Want to help me show these guys a thing or two in the kitchen?”

Her eyes widen. “I can help?”

You grin. “Of course! All of us cooking together sounds fun, right?”

You glance between Hobi and Jimin, who return your smile with small nods of affirmation.

“Go wash your hands and we’ll get started, okay? How about we make tonkatsu and rice?”

Her eyes grow wide as she nods her head vigorously, quickly scuttling into the bathroom to wash her hands.

You smile as she goes, but it falters when Jimin approaches you, touching a hand to your arm.

“Okay?” he asks, kind eyes searching yours.

You offer him a tired, if not slightly sad, smile and nod your head. Although things are still up in the air and you don’t have custody of your daughter just yet, with him, Hobi, and Binna getting ready to cook dinner with you, you feel okay. Not perfect, not great. But okay.

“Okay,” he repeats with a small smile, and you’re grateful he doesn’t press for more.

Hobi squeezes your hip and presses a kiss to the side of your head, then starts putting away the things you won’t need while you pull out the things you will.

“Eomma, I have a surprise for you!”

Hobi and Jimin exchange a wide-eyed look, Jimin’s lips parting as if he’s going to intervene, but he stops short when Binna rushes into the room with a drawing in her hands. Hobi and Jimin visibly relax, exchanging another look and laughing quietly to themselves.

You coo over the drawing she’s made of Hobi, Jimin, and Jihoon at the dance studio. “You really like it there, don’t you?”

Jimin ducks his head after his eyes connect with Hobi’s yet again, Hobi slapping him on the shoulder because even if Binna didn’t give away the surprise, their behavior sure would.

You eye the two of them out of the corner of your eye, but try not to think too much of it, instead squeezing your daughter in a tight hug as she tells you stories about the dances she’s learning in class.

Yeah, you think, you’re okay. More than okay, actually.

This little family you’re building for yourself is more than you could ever ask for.

Even if their behavior is pretty odd sometimes.

“Okay!” Jimin claps his hands, grinning when he startles you and Binna. “What do we do first?”

~*~*~

Making dinner with Jimin and Binna in the room is a slight catastrophe, but one you and Hobi can’t stop laughing over. Somehow, the two of them manage to make a mess of the kitchen, which you can probably attribute to Jimin chasing her around with flour-coated hands, all the while roaring like some sort of monster.

Her shrieks of laughter echo off the walls and you have to dance around the two of them on more than one occasion, but it warms your heart to see her so happy.

“Ah, I think Jimin-ah fits right in with Binna,” Hobi mutters as the two of you settle on the couch later that night, after laying Binna down for bed and seeing Jimin off, bellies still full and laughter still creasing their eyes.

You chuckle and curl into his side, resting your head on his shoulder. “He does, doesn’t he? Binna loves him.”

He hums, settling in closer to you and fiddling with your fingers. “You know about the dance showcase she has coming up, right?”

You snort. “How could I not? It’s all she talks about.”

He chuckles. “That’s good! I’m glad she’s so excited. She even asked if we could give her some extra lessons after class until then.”

You raise your eyebrows, unaware of this. “And you’re okay with doing that?”

He shrugs. “Yeah, why not? Binna’s a great dancer!” He leans in and kisses your cheek, whispering teasingly, “It probably helps that her eomma’s so close to the dance teacher.”

A shiver runs the length of your spine and you huff, shoving at his shoulder. “Don’t play favorites with her just because you’re dating me. It’ll go to her head.”

He hums, kissing along your jawline to your ear. “We’re dating now, huh?”

Heat rushes to your cheeks. “W-we’ve been on a date! Isn’t that what that means?”

He chuckles, pressing a delicate kiss to your ear. “It does, it’s just nice to hear you say it.”

Your body trembles with another shiver and your eyes flutter when he starts to kiss your neck, hand settling on your hip as he explores. You suck in sharply when his teeth graze your skin. “H-Hobi.”

Hearing the hesitancy in your voice, he releases a breath and pulls away, but not before turning your chin so he can plant a kiss on your lips. When he finally pulls away, he sighs, “Sorry, got carried away.”

“No, I–” you pause, glancing toward Binna’s cracked door, then toward your own room. You swallow. “We’d just…have to be quiet?”

His wide eyes seek out yours, lips parted in surprise. “Are you sure? We don’t have to–”

You grab his hand, desperate for him to understand when you say, “After the day I’ve had…I really want to.”

Understanding dawns in his soft eyes and he nods, getting to his feet and holding his hand out to you. He presses a soft kiss to the back of your hand. “We can stop anytime you want to.”

You smile hesitantly and nod, stepping toward your bedroom. “Okay.”

He squeezes your hand to draw your attention. His expression is soft, eyes reverent, when he smiles. “Okay.”
