Thinking about if Steve was the only one to remember when they reset the timeline (we’ll call it alien shenanigans or something for why he would retain his memories).
The sheer panic he would go through after waking up and realizing everything is back to how it was and nobody else remembered. He already had trouble handling the weirdness in the regular timeline, but then to be isolated or only have Jim as a partner in memories would definitely set him off. He’d be viewed as a complete conspiracy nut like Eli.
I just need a completely frazzled Steve running around school trying to convince everyone that trolls and aliens and wizards exist and that they’re trying to destroy the world, but not all of them because some creepers are good and all the while Jim is alternating between doing damage control and letting Steve dig himself deeper into a hole.
In this AU, Jim is called Jamie and she is the daughter of Queen Barbara Lake. Claire and Tobias are the children of nobles close to the royal family. Trolls are full members of society and coexist with people.
As a result of some events, the kingdom of Gumm-Gumms led by Gunmar the Black has expressed a desire to marry their prince Bular to princess Jamie. But in the inner walls of the castle kind of Lake was a coup - royals captured, and the wedding was played with a false princess-changeling. Jamie’s task - to free himself from captivity, save his mother and win his Kingdom, what she is trying to help friends and new allies.
Just wanted to share with you that if you love jlaire and have the app Wattpad, I’ve been making some stories in my Jlaire One-Shot book! I always loved reading about Jlaire, and decided to take it upon myself to create some more in the same position.
It’s filled with a bunch of stories I added between episodes, after trollhunters, and even after the upcoming Rise of the Titans movie!

I was re-watching Jlaire in Wizards and in Trollhunters and I can easily tell how much they have grown relationship wise. So in Trollhunters we can see that Claire likes Jim and vise versa BUTTTT, we see it even more in Wizards. So here are my points.
Comforting: Jim is always comforting Claire in Trollhunters but way way more in Wizards because he has the shard in his chest.
Careing/Worring: They are always worrying about each other. In Trollhunters we see that whenever Jim has done something stupid or is about to get hurt Claire always screams out his name and yeahhh. In Wizards, Jim is about to get killed and Claire always runs to help him. Same with Jim, Whenever Claire is in danger the first name that always comes to her mind or that she always says is Jims. Close to the end of Wizards, when Jim reveals that the shard going into heart no matter what, even though Claire is guilty that she has shadow magic at first, she said that she would learn a spell just for JIm. You can also tell by the expresion she had on her face when he told her.
Words: Claire is the only one who says it but in Trollhunters we see her call Jim her ‘Boyfriend’ twice and also says ‘I love you’ to him once. In Wizards basically in every episode, she calls Jim her boyfriend.
Physical: In Trollhunters there are only slight shows of Jlaire happening, but in Wizards, they kiss/hug in basically every episode. Claire also teleports him to the location of his house a few centuries before it was built just for a date, to remind him of him and THEM, There relationship. Personally i think it would of been better if she travelled to the place where they had their almost first kiss when they where dancing to Eres Tu, That would be better to me.
I just checked YouTube yesterday and saw that after only one exact week from the release of the announcement, Trollhunters Rise of the Titans teaser trailer already got 1 million views!!
I feel like by the time late June, or early July comes around, most or all of the TOA fandom will have a running thing going for when everyone will start watching all the shows again to get ready for the movie.
Did anyone get struck yet, having time to process in realizing that Trollhunters ROTT is the absolute final instalment in this beloved journey we’ve gotten to share with these characters and shows we’ve come to love?
Anyone else still kinda shocked that Netflix is actually marketing Trollhunters Rise of the Titans?!
I mean, mainly 3Below and Wizards either didn’t have anything commercializing them until the last two weeks before it was released, or the week before!
I guess I do understand though, some shows on Netflix don’t really get marketed until the last week or two before it releases onto the app. But I’m SO happy that because this is the movie and the last instalment to the franchise that we literally got news about this almost 3 months in advance!! Isn’t that just amazing to think about?!
I’ve already mentioned this in one of my previous posts, but I wanted to kinda touch on it a little more.
Ok, so we all remember this glorious armour we received in a certain trailer two days ago:
I still can’t get over it tbh.
The fact that this movie is the finale instalment, everyone’s included and this armour thats given to a Trollhunter is forged using Akiridion tech and magic, is just so clever. And he looks so amazing in it.
But…
A part of me is thinking this is something shown in the trailer to throw the fandom off.
Showing this armour Jim gets in the movie has changed a lot of people’s thoughts on Jim wielding Excalibur, since this shows that he gets new armour that doesn’t come from Excalibur. And with that, I think a lot of people all of a sudden turned to the thought of “ok, that must settle it, Jim won’t wield it. But if he doesn’t who will?”.
In my own opinion, I don’t think Steve will wield Excalibur. Steve’s a great character, but being, like the comedic relief character, it just wouldn’t seem right for him to wield it. Especially since Jim’s the main character in the movie, and something that big for someone to wield sounds like he’d end up having it.
I think this is a great way to throw the fans off though, cause it either makes us just shocked since we thought he’d wield Excalibur, or just plain confused. Cause I’m pretty sure everyone remembers the whole scene in Wizards at the end with an entire scene of Jim trying to pull it out.
At that time, I don’t know if Jim was trying as hard as he was with the Daylight sword in the Trollhunters pilot. I mean, it completely makes sense though too, after everything in Wizards he was through, he’s probably lacking a lot of self confidence now and maybe even with what all just happened, doesn’t know if he’d even be able to do it either.
But then with the scene up above after he hugs Claire, he opens his eyes, stares at Excalibur, and the camera focuses the shot on the sword. I feel like this shot is just foreshadowing at its finest, especially with some confused with the info on the new armour we just got.
Which got me thinking, if Jim doesn’t wield Excalibur up to a certain point in the movie cause of the Akiridion magical armour, that it’ll be more like a buildup to get Excalibur. And with that, I mean that the armour we were shown was to show off some info, (of course) showing us what’s going on with Jim and how he’ll defend himself up to a certain point of the movie. But I’m thinking that that might be the armour he’ll be wearing for a good amount of the movie, until closer to the end where he’ll finally be able to pull Excalibur out. Because the more I watch that whole scene at the end of Wizards then look again at the armour, that’s the only thought that keeps rolling in my head to explain the confusion I had, and makes the most sense in my head.
Sorry to rant, but I was wondering too if anyone else kinda felt confused about this and thought, or theorized anything similar to this :)
