pairing: svt x reader, fluff, a tiny bit suggestive

: a quick kiss on the lips as he leaves the house, that usually lasts longer than intended…. And then maybe one more (ends up on a full make out session, cheol is late).

: a sweet kiss on the cheek after he just knows his teased you a little too much, always letting you know you by that it’s just a playful bander and that it doesn’t mean anything, laughing sweetly as he sees you lose your words every time (he’s a simp).

: a playful kiss just under your jaw because he perfectly knows it’s your weak spot and he enjoys seeing the effect he has on you (such a fake saint).

: a kiss on top of your head as he comforts you, rubbing your back, saying sweet words with a smile and then as you smile, a bonus kiss on your cheek as well.

: a big, exaggerated kiss on your temple to great you after seeing you after a long time, and some more loud smooches afterwards. The sound may be loud but you are giggling at how affectionate he is with you.

: a comforting kiss on the back of your hand while he’s holding it with his own, warmth and comfort spreading in your body and a warm smile on your face, as you look him, while he chuckles and leans his head on your shoulder.

: a light kiss on your shoulder as he stands up from the bed to go wash and start his day. The kiss is sweet and intimate, and you can’t help but start smiling in your sleep.

: a kiss fight where you kiss each other noses and then giggle afterwards like little kids and the loser becomes the small spoon (cause you both are babies).

: a kiss under your ear, as he wraps his arms around your waist, caressing your sides and pushing you back, towards his body. (expect hickeys afterwards in that spot cause he doesn’t want to let go).

: a tender kiss on your forehead after he pushes your hair behind ear, sweet glances and tight hugs, not wanting to let go.

: a chase kiss on the cheek while he finds something you do cute and someone he ends up kissing your cheek. Understands what he did right afterwards and because very shy.

: an awkward kiss, where he misses your lips during your first kiss and instead kisses the corner of them, throws you an awkward thumbs up and dashes away.

: a kiss on lips, as his members look away, not wanting to get teased, but still having fun with doing stuff like that out there. (I bet minghao actually noticed it).

a/n: hello everyone!! really had fun with this, I would be really happy of you send me reaction requests and drabble requests! Thank you!!

“It reminded me of you.” + “Close your eyes and hold out your hands.”

With the summer arriving with all the sunshine and gentle wind, you and Joshua had decided to go on a picnic by the river. The day was as beautiful as the ones before, and knowing that a few days later it would rain, you figured you’d chosen the perfect day for the outing.

The two of you smiled at each other while setting down the picnic mat, and once it was ready, you both sat down and took your shoes off before unpacking some of the food and drinks you had brought.

“This is even nicer than I had thought,” you hummed as you scooted to sit closer to Joshua, leaning your head on his shoulder while looking at the river, taking in the way it was reflecting the sunshine.

Joshua wrapped his arm around you, and you felt him place a gentle peck on the top of your head. “Finally a chance to take a breather, huh?”

You chuckled and nodded, letting out a quiet sigh. “And in the best company, too.”

“Exactly,” he noted and smiled, holding you close while closing his eyes, slowly feeling the stress of the everyday life leaving his body little by little.

While you both had busy, stressful days both behind and ahead, it was comforting to know that for that day and evening, none of it mattered, and all you could focus on was each other and the weather, and after the sunset, the beautiful lights around you.

All in all it was simply the perfect break from everything else.

After you and Joshua had eaten some of the food you had brought, you grinned and reached for your bag. Joshua quirked his eyebrow, and you looked at him with a playful sparkle in your eyes. “Close your eyes and hold out your hands.”

“What is this?” Joshua asked, laughing, but complied regardless, although he did try to peek by opening one of his eyes just enough to see something.

You got what you were looking for from your bag and held it inside your hands before turning to Joshua, squinting a little and snorting when you clearly saw Joshua fully close his eyes again. “No peeking.”

“Okay, okay,” he chuckled, and you turned to him properly again.

With a small smile playing on your lips, you placed a key ring on Joshua’s held-out hands, and watched him slowly open his eyes, his eyebrows rising. “It might be a bit silly, but it really reminded me of you, so I had to get it. Besides, you keep saying you want a new key ring.”

Joshua laughed and put the ring on his forefinger, eyeing the many small dangling Eevee evolutions in amusement, a wide smile on his face. “You’re still insistent on that I look like Eevee?”

Immediately digging a photo of Eevee from your phone, you nodded, your lips in a small pout. “Just look! Just like you!”

He laughed heartily and nodded, unable to deny the resemblance, and leaned in to give you a light kiss on the lips before reaching for your hand with his free hand, looking into your eyes with his filled with warmth. “I love it, thank you.”

“What do you mean you’ve never been to the beach?” he asked you, his eyebrows crinkling in disbelief. His whole face scrunched like it was the most ridiculous thing he’d ever heard.

“I mean…yeah. I haven’t. Growing up my parents liked going to the city for vacations and we kind of lived far from the coast so…” you shrugged. It didn’t feel like such a big deal to you, but it was easy to see that something like this would come to a pretty big shock to your California-raised boyfriend.

And that was how Joshua made up a grand plan to take you to the beach for the first time. He loaded up his car with towels, folding chairs, snacks, and anything else he saw fit for your very first beach trip. As you drove the couple of hours to the coast, he tapped his fingers excitedly on the steering wheel. He babbled on about the beaches in Malibu that he visited in high school. It was rare to see him this excited over something. Especially something as trivial as a day trip. You enjoyed it, though, because seeing him happy like this was heart-fluttering. You couldn’t take your eyes off of him as he talked. When he smiled at you, you couldn’t help but return the grin with equal enthusiasm.

It was midday when you two arrived, and it was crowded on the beach. This didn’t dull Josh’s enthusiasm in the slightest, though, and he squeezed his way through the crowd quickly. He managed to find a nice, open spot that had a great view of the water. You tried your best to help him put up an umbrella, but he nicely asked you to just set out the towels instead (you didn’t disagree. He definitely knew what he was doing and you…didn’t).

Once everything was set up just the way he wanted it, he sat down in his chair like a king would sit upon a throne. He breathed in a deep breath through his nose, inhaling the salty air, and exhaling through his mouth in a powerful sigh.

“So how do you like it?” He asked, turning his head towards you expectantly. You didn’t really know how to tell him that you hated it. When you didn’t immediately proclaim your love for the experience, though, he knew something was up. You felt strangely guilty as you watched his face fall. “What is it? What’s wrong? Don’t you like it?”  he asked, an anxious lilt to his words.

“It’s fine! I don’t dislike it,” Liar. “I just…it’s a lot to take in.” you said, putting on a smile and reaching out to touch your boyfriend on the arm. “There’s a lot of people, it’s hot, I think I already have sand in my mouth…” you blinked a few times, “and in my butt.”

“That’s all just part of the experience!” Joshua said, waving his arms to gesture around him. “It’s always kind of uncomfortable! That’s the point of a public beach!”

“I don’t follow?” you said, horribly confused.

“Listen. It’s not perfect. But look at the ocean for me. Just for a second.” He gently used two fingers to turn your face forward. “It goes on…forever. This body of water covers so much of the planet we live on. That ocean holds the biggest animals on the Earth, pirate shipwrecks, and remnants of civilizations that existed before you or me were even so much as a thought. It’s not just a pool to play in, it’s the source of all life. Right there in front of our eyes.” he said, his voice passionate.

“And a whole lotta fish pee.” you added, quietly.

“That too.” he laughed, turning to look back at you. “Still not impressed?”

You looked back over the ocean and thought about the things he had said. It was impressive, but none of that really sunk in. What did actually impact you, though, was the sun that danced off of the waves. It glittered magnificently, and it was almost too much to look at without having to squint and shield your eyes. It reminded you of a certain someone. You looked at him.

“I am. It’s lovely, Josh.” you smiled. His lips twitched up into a little grin of their own. He leaned forward and kissed you softly.

“Next time, we can just go to the park.”
