pairing: svt x reader, fluff, a tiny bit suggestive

: a quick kiss on the lips as he leaves the house, that usually lasts longer than intended…. And then maybe one more (ends up on a full make out session, cheol is late).

: a sweet kiss on the cheek after he just knows his teased you a little too much, always letting you know you by that it’s just a playful bander and that it doesn’t mean anything, laughing sweetly as he sees you lose your words every time (he’s a simp).

: a playful kiss just under your jaw because he perfectly knows it’s your weak spot and he enjoys seeing the effect he has on you (such a fake saint).

: a kiss on top of your head as he comforts you, rubbing your back, saying sweet words with a smile and then as you smile, a bonus kiss on your cheek as well.

: a big, exaggerated kiss on your temple to great you after seeing you after a long time, and some more loud smooches afterwards. The sound may be loud but you are giggling at how affectionate he is with you.

: a comforting kiss on the back of your hand while he’s holding it with his own, warmth and comfort spreading in your body and a warm smile on your face, as you look him, while he chuckles and leans his head on your shoulder.

: a light kiss on your shoulder as he stands up from the bed to go wash and start his day. The kiss is sweet and intimate, and you can’t help but start smiling in your sleep.

: a kiss fight where you kiss each other noses and then giggle afterwards like little kids and the loser becomes the small spoon (cause you both are babies).

: a kiss under your ear, as he wraps his arms around your waist, caressing your sides and pushing you back, towards his body. (expect hickeys afterwards in that spot cause he doesn’t want to let go).

: a tender kiss on your forehead after he pushes your hair behind ear, sweet glances and tight hugs, not wanting to let go.

: a chase kiss on the cheek while he finds something you do cute and someone he ends up kissing your cheek. Understands what he did right afterwards and because very shy.

: an awkward kiss, where he misses your lips during your first kiss and instead kisses the corner of them, throws you an awkward thumbs up and dashes away.

: a kiss on lips, as his members look away, not wanting to get teased, but still having fun with doing stuff like that out there. (I bet minghao actually noticed it).

a/n: hello everyone!! really had fun with this, I would be really happy of you send me reaction requests and drabble requests! Thank you!!

Synopsis:You and Wonwoo work at a fro-yo shop and together.

“Wonwoo, we’re out of chocolate chips, can you go to the back and a grab some more?”

Wonwoo simply nodded and saluted you before he went into the storage room. You and Wonwoo had been working together at Franks’s Fro-Yo for almost a year now. For most of the day, the shop was pretty empty since most people in town preferred the frozen dairy confectionery at night. Of course, once the sun started to set, the place would swarm with people trying to get a cup. Luckily, you and Wownoo usually worked the morning shift and always had plenty of time to yourselves.

Wonwoo reappeared with a sack of miniature chocolate chips and wordlessly laid them down on the counter.

“Thanks, soldier.”

“Sir, my payment?”

“Ah, that’s right,” you dipped a hand into the chocolate chips and handed some to your coworker. “Don’t go spending it all in one place now.”

“You can’t tell me what to do!” Wonwoo chucked a chip at you and somehow you were able to catch it with your mouth. The two of you stared at each other in awe.

“Maybe you can tell me what to do,” Wonwoo muttered. Suddenly, the two of you went back to working silently.

The dynamic you had with Wonwoo while at work was a little odd. You guys would be super playful one minute, then quickly shift to stern and serious. This kind of emotional turbulence would give most people whiplash, but not the two of you. The flipping of vibes was a common thing for you.

Even though the shop was as dead as a corpse, the lack of conversation never made either of you uncomfortable. Not having to force conversation made the times you did speak really effortless and easy. That’s probably what you liked most about working with Wonwoo: he was the best company.

“So, what are you doing after work?” Wonwoo abruptly asked.

“I’m probably going to grab my sketchbook and head to the museum. I need more practice with portraits and a certain someone won’t sit still for a sketch.”

“I can’t help it. I get uncomfortable when you stare at me like that.” You continued to restock the spoon dispenser as you replied.

“It’s my concentration face, Won. I can’t help it. Pass me the yogurt cups, please.” Wonwoo obliged.

“Anyway’s, what’re you up to this fine Friday night?”

“Mingyu is setting me up on a blind date.”

Wonwoo had your full attention. You stopped restocking to turn to your friend.

“Another one? Didn’t you go on one last week with, uh,” you paused, racking your brain for Wonwoo’s latest-attempt-at-love’s name, “Jennie, was it?”

Wonwoo shrugged. “Yeah. I indulge him too much.” Wonwoo moved from the counter and seated himself at one of the fluorescent tables nearby. “She was sweet. All the girls I’ve gone out with are usually pretty nice, it’s just-“ Wonwoo paused. “There’s just something that isn’t there for me.”

You stepped away from the cup holders and sat across from your coworker.

“Maybe you’re too concerned with what you’re not feeling with them and end up ignoring what you actually do feel when you’re on these dates. At the same time, don’t try and force a connection that isn’t there.” Wonwoo rose from his chair and grabbed a bottle of disinfectant and a small towel before he replied

“Yeah, maybe you’re right.” You lightly punched Wonwoo on the shoulder.

“Maybe? Here I am thinking I’m omniscient and know everything.”

“Whatever,” Wonwoo rolled his eyes and you and quickly flashed you his playful smile. Wonwoo had the best smile.

“So, where are you taking this one?”

“Bowling, maybe?” Wonwoo began wiping down the tables as you returned to refilling the spoon dispenser.

You jested, “Aren’t you terrible at bowling?”

“That doesn’t make it any less fun, Y/N. Besides,” Wonwoo added,” you keep knitting me scarves for Christmas even though you’re an awful knitter.”

You played hurt and jokingly laid a hand over your heart. “If that’s the way you feel about my handmade gifts then I won’t make you anything at all!”

Just like that, the conversation had ended and the two of you were back to working in silent.

The shift continued. You and Wonwoo found things to keep yourselves occupied after you finished the morning prep. You took a twenty minute power nap under the toppings table, the two of you made bets on who could balance a miniature marshmallow on their nose the longest, and while Wonwoo was reading behind the cash register, he sat still just long enough for you to sketch both his eyes and half of his nose in your notebook.

Towards the end of your shift, a very frantic manager called the store and begged you to cover for them. Apparently, three people for that late shift bailed so they could go to some beach party. You and Wonwoo were the only ones the manager could rely on, especially on such short notice, too. Since Wonwoo had his date, you were the only one between the both of you that was free to work that night.

“Guess I’m not going to the museum after all,” you complained.

“I’m going to cancel my date. I’d feel bad if you had to work a double shift while I’m out having fun.”

“Oh, no you don’t. You’re going to go on that date and give that girl a shot. What if she’s the one? The universe works in mysterious ways, you know. This could be one of those life-altering decisions. She could be the mother of your children, Won. Think of the children!”

“Alright, I get it. I’ll go if you promise me to stop rambling.”

You were given just enough time in between shifts to go home, shower, and eat something before you had to be back at the shop for round two. A large group of obnoxious guys came in and annoyingly flirted with you all night. You texted Wonwoo throughout the harassment.

This guy just pointed finger guns at me and called me babe. I think I’m gonna barf

I have no idea why, but these dude are sticking spoons in their noses

I should’ve gone to the museum instead

                                                                                                Delivered

You found it a little odd that Wonwoo wasn’t answering your texts. Even on a blind date, Wonwoo always answers. You figured he just must be hitting it off with this chick.

About ten minutes later, in the middle of you counting ceiling tiles out of boredom, you thought you heard someone call your name. You looked around and spotted your coworker and best friend standing on the other side of the counter.

“Wonwoo, what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be making a fool of yourself in the bowling alley right now?”

“Do you have five minutes? I really need to talk to you.”

You looked over at the obnoxious groups of boys occupying the store. Most of them seemed like the types to grab extra toppings or pour fro-yo into their mouths, straight from the machine. One of them, however, seemed to be some sort of voice of reason in their little gang.

“You have exactly five minutes.” You were afraid the storefront would be in a state of complete chaos if you left for too long.

Wonwoo took your hand and led you to the storage room in the back.

“Earlier today we were talking about how I always feel like something is missing when I go out on those blind dates.”

You nodded, waiting for him to continue.

“The reason why I never want to go out on another date is because of you.”

You blinked at Wonwoo, dumbfounded. “I don’t understand.”

Wonwoo, exasperated, explained. “I’m always comparing them to you. I keep thinking, ‘If Y/N was here, she’d think this was hilarious,’ or ‘Her perfume isn’t as nice as the one Y/N wears.’”

He stepped closer to you now and lightly held your hands in his own. You stared at him with your mouth a tad agape and your head tilted to slightly to one side, a look of confusion on your face.

“I don’t want to go on anymore blind dates. I want to go on a date with you.”

“Wonwoo-“ he interrupted you.

“You don’t have to confirm whether you reciprocate my feelings or not at this exact moment in time. I am asking you to let me take you on a date tomorrow night, just me and you. We can suck at bowling together or go to the museum and check out the Monét exhibit I know you’ve been dying to see. Just let me take you out, at least once.”

Normally, you’d ask if a confession such as sudden as this was a joke or not. Knowing Wonwoo, seeing the look in his eyes and hearing the desperation in his voice, you knew he was genuine. Your gaze softened and you held his hands firmly, trying to express the love you felt for him with the small gesture.

“It’s date,” you beamed.

It’s the second music show of the weekend and Seventeen has taken the win yet again. Sitting at home, I watch the boys thank Carats and their staff before the MC’s end the program and the encore stage starts.

My eyes search the group for the face I see every time I close my eyes. When I find Wonwoo, a smile appears on my face like second nature. The song plays and Hoshi is screaming into his microphone like he’s had way too much caffeine, which is probably true. Seungkwan and Woozi are staring in embarrassment while DK is off with Dino doing some weird dance moves.

I carefully watch Wonwoo make his way around the group, singing and vibing with different members. But then I notice something strange.

Whenever Mingyu gets within a few feet of him, Wonwoo turns around and walks the other way. Upon closer inspection, I notice that every so often Wonwoo will give Mingyu a glare. Not one that the fans will pick up on but I know what emotion lies underneath the look.

It peaks my curiosity because last night the same thing happened. During the encore stage last night, Wonwoo never got close to Mingyu like he usually does. And he would sometimes throw him odd glances and looks.

Once the program fades into the true ending, I pull out my phone and text the group chat a quick congrats before moving to the private chat between Wonwoo and I.

“Sleepover at mine?” I text him, wanting to get him alone to see what is wrong.

Knowing it will take him a few minutes to get back to his phone, I start to clean up the kitchen since I got lazy before the music show started. There are quite a few dishes so it takes me a good chunk of time to get them done.

When I check my phone, there’s a message from Wonwoo and many from the group chat.

“Yes please.” Wonwoo’s message reads, “I’ll be over in like 45 minutes.”

“Take your time.” I reply back, “I’ll still be awake.”

A smiley face is his response.

Turning on some music, I set aside my phone and pick up my coloring book and markers. The next page I need to color is a mosaic of a lynx lurking around some trees. Excited, I dive right into the world of colors and lines.

Once I finish with the lynx, I move onto the background but I don’t get to finish it because Wonwoo enters the passcode to my door. I discard the book to the side and open my arms as he enters my home. He takes one look at me and immediately drops his bag and jacket before dropping onto the couch and into me. His weight pushes me back into the couch. Wrapping my arms around his body, he wraps his arms around my stomach and relaxes his head against my chest.

For a few minutes, we sit in silence together. I run my hand through his hair, thankful that they didn’t use too much product on his hair for this comeback.

“Everything okay?” I ask, starting the conversation that I know he needs.

Wonwoo sighs heavily, “Not really.”

I rest my cheek on the top of his head, “Tell me.”

“It’s Mingyu.” Wonwoo admits and hugs me closer.

I press my lips together because hearing that my suspicions were correct sucks. “What happened with Mingyu?” I question.

“Remember a couple months ago when we had that really big fight?” He asks and I recall the fight with a nod. “Well, I had confided in Mingyu quite a bit during that time because I knew he got along well with you and I just needed someone to talk to.”

“Yeah.” I comment. “Makes sense.”

“And I thought the conversations we had were just between us, you know? I didn’t need the other members to know the nitty-gritty details of what was running through my mind at the time.” He continues. “When Seungcheol finally talked to me through the whole thing, I thought he did it because he had had enough of my odd behavior and wanted to help set me straight.”

I brush some of his hair back from his face and look down at him, “Was that not the case?”

Wonwoo shakes his head against me causing more hair to fall into his face. “No. Turns out Mingyu went and told Seungcheol everything I had said.”

“Oh.” I say, quickly understanding why Wonwoo is upset with Mingyu but at the same time, understanding why Mingyu did it.

“I told him so many secrets and thoughts that I really didn’t need Seungcheol to know about.” Wonwoo continues to vent. “I trusted him not to say anything because seriously, I did not need Seungcheol to know about some of the things I said.”

I pull back slightly and look down at him in confusion, his words sounding worse than I’m sure he intended.

He glances up and catches onto my look. “Oh, not in that way. Just some of my thoughts were not best about myself.” He clarifies and I nod, telling him to continue.

“So Mingyu told Seungcheol about your late night talks with him and Seungcheol then decided that he needed to step in?” I restate what I’ve been hearing.

“Yeah, but I’m just pissed at Mingyu for doing it.” Wonwoo says, slightly defeated. “Like I wish he would’ve just told me that he was going to tell Seungcheol or something. Not keep it quiet and then I find out months later.”

“I mean, would it have been any better if you had found out then?” I question as his voice of reason.

“Yes.” Wonwoo answers with conviction. “Because then I would’ve known that Seungcheol had known how I was really feeling and what I was really thinking and then the conversation that we had wouldn’t have been so long and so tangled.”

Rubbing my hand up and down his back, I sigh, “Okay, you need to tell me the gist of the things you said to Mingyu because you’ve got me slightly worried.”

“It was just fears that we were going to break up and that I was going to lose you for good and how it was all my fault and basically I was really negative about myself.” Wonwoo tells me. “I was a bit desperate and it wasn’t something that I wanted others to know about. Which is another reason I’m pissed at him. He knew that I didn’t want people knowing about those nights. He knew that I was desperate and I even said that I didn’t want to the others to know how I was acting but he still goes and yaps to Seungcheol about every detail that happened between us.”

Wonwoo pushes back from me and leans against the couch with an arm covering his eyes. “I’m just so done with telling him things. I’m just so done with him thinking that he knows everything and that he can always do something to help. It was my business to tell, not his.”

I turn my body towards his and rest my head on my fist.

“I mean the talk I had with Seungcheol was so messed up and confusing that he and I basically got into an argument and it honestly was the worst conversation he and I have had in all the years we’ve known each other.” Wonwoo continues to rant, “And it could’ve been avoided if Mingyu didn’t go behind my back to Seungcheol and spill everything. Or if he had at least told me he told Seungcheol.”

I gaze at Wonwoo. I hate the way his jaw clenches with stress and the way his hands are stiff with an alertness that should not be there. But I can’t make this all go away. As much as I want to, that’s not my role. And I know that.

“You know,” I say softly, easing into the conversation that I know he doesn’t want to hear, “You’re going to have to talk to Mingyu at some point. If you carry on ignoring him like this, the fans are going to notice and the others will see it too.”

“I know.” Wonwoo sighs heavily, “I just don’t know if I can do it right now.”

“Wonwoo, I get why you’re mad. I really do.” I tell him and he peers at me from under his arm. “But I’m sure Mingyu was just really worried about you. And I would guess that if Mingyu hadn’t said anything to Seungcheol, Seungcheol wouldn’t have talked to you because he knows how private you are.”

“He’s still an ass for doing it.” Wonwoo mutters and recovers his eyes.

“Yes, yes he is.” I agree with him because I do understand the distrust he is feeling. “But if Mingyu hadn’t said anything to Seungcheol, Seungcheol wouldn’t have talked to you, and you and I wouldn’t be talking.” I tell him how I see the situation. “You don’t have to forgive him now or even want to be close to him but you can’t stay mad at him forever.”

“Watch me.” Wonwoo grumbles and I exhale slowly.

“He’s your best friend, Wonwoo.” I try again to make him see that it isn’t all that bad. “He did the shitty thing because he was genuinely worried about you and your mental state. He saw you were hurting and because he probably didn’t know how to help, he turned to Seungcheol for help. Which was what you needed though you didn’t know it.”

“Maybe Mingyu knew you wouldn’t listen to the advice that he gave you so he went to the person he knew you would listen to.” I keep talking while Wonwoo stays, unmoving and just listening. “I just don’t want to see you burn this bridge with Mingyu. Especially over this.”

“But he broke my trust.” Wonwoo sits up and looks at me, expectantly.

“Yes he did.” I say calmly and search his eyes for any sign that he’s done with the conversation. “But have you talked to him about it at all yet?” I question.

“No, I haven’t.” Wonwoo answers and runs his hands through his hair. “I’ve been too angry about it.”

I reach out a hand and rest it on his arm. “Go talk to him first.” I advise him, “Maybe Mingyu has been feeling guilty about it for months but with how he is, he won’t say anything because he can’t stand to have anyone mad at him, especially you. Give him a chance to apologize before you decide anything.”

“It just sucks that I had to find out this way.” Wonwoo says, his voice weaker.

I nod and scoot closer to him, “I know. It really is suck-y but it’s what happened. Now what are you going to do about it? That’s the real question.”

“But I can be angry about it, right?” He wonders and looks over at me, the anger gone and replaced with an innocent wonder. Like a child who is still learning about the world of emotions.

“Of course you can be angry about it.” I confirm for him, “He went behind your back which was a crappy thing to do but he still deserves a chance to apologize. I can guarantee you that he knows what he did was wrong and not cool but he probably was just trying to help you because if you were anything like me during that fight, you would’ve needed all the help you could get.”

Wonwoo sighs and wraps his arm around me, bringing me closer to him. “That fight was absolute shit, wasn’t it?”

I nod, cuddling into his warmth. “One we weren’t getting through without help. So if we think about it, Mingyu pretty much saved our relationship…” I trail off.

“You’re right.” Wonwoo comments and then rubs his hand over his eyes, “Which is slightly fucked. He breaks my trust yet saves my relationship. So do I hate him or do I thank him?”

“You see if he will apologize for breaking your trust and if he gives it to you, you thank him.” I tell him and Wonwoo gives me a small smile.

“Okay.” He decides, “I’ll talk to him.”

“Sooner rather than later, Mister.” I remind him with a stern look.

“Agreed but it can wait until tomorrow. Right now, I want to stay with you.” Wonwoo says before kissing my forehead. “Thank you.” He mumbles against my skin.

“You’re welcome.” I accept his gratitude, “I’m always here to talk.”

Wonwoo reaches for my coloring book and holds it in his lap, “A lynx?”

I shrug, “It was the next in the book.”

“That tree in the back should be purple.” Wonwoo comments and points to a large tree right behind the animal.

I chuckle, “Why?”

“Why not?” He shrugs and raises his eyebrows playfully.

“It’s not realistic.” I banter.

“Who said it had to be?” Wonwoo smiles and grabs the purple marker.
