Junko, in her ‘Gekkou Survive Mode’, holding the handle of a guitar in a similar condition: “Shit’s very fucked.”

Ai: “Do you even have any friends?”

Kotaro: “Of course, I do!”

Ai: “Then who are they?”

Kotaro: “Me, Myself, and I.”

Lily: “So much for having friends.”

Kotaro, on the phone after leaving Saki and Sakura in charge: “Enough! I’m coming back right now! I’m very disappointed in you, Saki.”

Kotaro: *Hangs up 

Sakura: “What did he say?”

Saki: “He said he’s very disappointed in you." 

Sakura: "Oh, man!”

Kotaro, addressing Franchouchou: “And if you have any suggestions feel free to put them in the suggestion box.”

Lily: “But that’s just a trash can.”

Kotaro: “It sure is!”

Some concept stuff for a zombieland saga au where the curse doesn’t exist and Ai and Sakura both survive their accidents. Sakura meets Ai in rehab after being in a coma for a few years and Inui and Ai train her to become an idol. Then they all kiss or something idk.

Ai has burns over most of her body and lost her right arm and eye. She’s really angry and bitter at the world and isolates herself from everyone before she meets Sakura and Inui. Inui kind of went a bit crazy (but not Kotaro levels) being the only one to believe Sakura would wake up from her coma and has attachment issues. Sakura has to relearn how to walk and function as a person and has severe chronic migraines and pain. They all support each other and learn to love life again haha.

Time for revenge!

So I just abandoned this blog (and Tumblr in general) right at Episode 3. To simply put what happened, I felt exhausted. I still do love Kotaro, but I just wanted to enjoy ZombieLand Saga as a casual fan without the pressures that come with being a content creator. I felt exhausted pressuring myself to watch the show as soon as a new episode comes out. And while watching, my mind isn’t focused on the episode, but is constantly thinking of ways to spin things into interesting content for Tumblr.

As a busy adult, there’s just so many things that I’d rather be doing during ZLS hours. And then I realized how much enjoyment I was having when I just allowed myself to watch the show on my own time and pace. I think I’ve binged watched episodes 8 to 11 on a whim, a full month after it aired. No regrets.

I also have lots of other shows on my currently watching list. So after watching a ZLS ep, I just want to move on to the next show already. No need to spend hours creating gifs, photosets, and writing lengthy episode analyses.

Despite that, I’ve really enjoyed browsing through the Zombieland Saga tags and seeing all the fanart, edits, theories, memes, and lots more.

You guys rock! Just like Saga!
