I somehow felt like making an oldskool goth victorian velour dress with satin ribbon lacing at back and front ^^ The seams on the bodice are derived from an 1867 Victorian pattern ^^

Purple stays - looking in by ~Cuddlyparrot:
“They are a purple striped silk with cotton/poly purple lining. The front has a hidden busk closure with a lacing detail and laces closed up the back over a build lacing panel.
This pair of stays features a ruffled top edge and adjustable straps.”

Virgo’s gown is a wonderful example of one of the stages of continuous transformation of the houppelande into the later “Burgundian” style dress.

Got that Innova Corsetry mock-up for my custom overbust! Lots of lacing. My cats love it XS
Anyways, it needs a bit of work for the final, but I’m hoping it won’t take too long.
