I miss her so much :( she is all I’ve wanted for three fucking years. Why can’t we just work? Why is it always so complicated with her? I just want her here. It’s been over three months since she broke up with me and I still can’t stop thinking about her. I thought everything was going great. I was actually happy. I just want her.
Really just want to lay in bed with a girl in soft sweaters while we watch studio ghibli movies and cuddle and just enjoy each other’s company :(

Barnes & Noble Being Sued in Virginia Beach Over GENDER QUEER, COURT OF MIST AND FURY
No longer is this about the rights of students to access books. It’s now about the rights of private businesses to sell books. Anderson suggests this is a new avenue for parents to fight.
“We are in a major fight. Suits like this can be filed all over Virginia. There are dozens of books. Hundreds of schools,” he said.
Holy shit this is a BIG FUCKING WARNING SIGN. Challenges to school and public libraries aren’t cool obviously, but they’re not unusual and we have a framework for handling them. This is something new and alarming in a whole new way

This is a direct challenge to the freedom of the press and if it isn’t struck down at the first hurdle we need to make sure it never sees the second one.

People have been warning all along that the right-wing thought police were never going to stop with queer lit or ‘woke’ lit, and that every time they got an inch they were going to take a mile until they’d banned absolutely everything that didn’t conform to their strict right wing fundamentalist Christian views. If you were waiting for proof of that, here it is.
Someone I work with is divorced too and we got together a week ago for drinks at my favorite dive. We talked about work, but also about dating as formerly long-time married women.
She is scandalously dating someone 20 years younger than herself. She says her friends all applaud her (I did too), but she can’t shake the feeling she’s keeping someone from living their destiny.
“He should be a father. He wants to be. I’m not on that path anymore.”
It hurt me to hear her deny herself happiness with someone she’s obviously grown to love. l told her to trust him when he says he wants to be with her. That he’s a big boy, she’s having fun, and it will all sort itself out.
I also confided that I feel like I’m in high school…..unrequited crushes, bad boys, being too shy to speak, getting extra twiterpated when someone new likes me.
She says that’s because I met my ex in high school. Thats the only way I know how to date. Like a high schooler.

His feet were bare. As he watched, blood swelled out of a new cut, accompanied by vivid, hot pain. Too vivid.
He wasn’t dreaming.
At this realisation, a cloud passed overhead, casting the place in dark shadow and the air grew bitterly cold in turn. As soon as the shadow touched the woman’s house it started to change, stone bricks tumbling down into dust and ivy creeping into the cracks to drag the remains down into the soil, swallowing the ruins whole.
Mist swirled into the edges of the world like smoke, settling thickly upon the ground and curling into Arthur’s clothes like shards of ice.
‘What’s happening,’ Arthur took a half step back onto the road that under his feet blossomed once more into familiar mud and roots, 'Tell me!’
'You know what is happening.’
'I don’t!’ He did, 'Who are you?’
Before he could move again, she was upon him, 'Our souls are burnt into the soil,’ Her hands pressed Arthur’s cheeks, cold pointed fingers digging into his skin, 'We are the earth. We make up your foundations and feed the crops you grow.’
Her face crumbled, skin dissolving away into ash and revealing a skull underneath, hard bone stained yellow. Her voice rang clear in his head, 'We did not get to die as we should have. We did not get to live as we deserved. And I warn you that the same will happen to you if you do not leave.’
She pushed him and he fell back against a tangle of roots hiding a forgotten stone wall, 'Go! Go because you can, run because we cannot.’
