Well, I read (and watched) “Land of Lustrous” and I want to say: never before have I felt such hatred for the ending of the plot and the characters. Don’t get it wrong, I liked the manga. Highly.

But seriously. Phosphophyllite throughout history has tried for others. First in “good” ways, then in not very good ways. But she always tried sincerely, literally lost all of herself in the process. But what did she get? She was manipulated ALL the time and ended up left alone on Earth, alone with a shattered mind, while literally all the other characters settled comfortably on the Moon.

Hatred.

I dont know. I DO NOT KNOW. Perhaps the next chapter will change my attitude to this or justify the previous things … but right now, most of all, I want Phosphophyllite to become a real God and when, ten thousand years later, they come to her for prayers, she would send all the fuck up.
