I am so happy to say that my Kickstarter campaign for Standard Cameras was successfully funded only 6 days in! There is still plenty of time to pledge for a sweet large format camera that you build yourself though! :) I would deeply appreciate it if you took some time to have a look, share it with your friends, and maybe support the cause? check it out at http://4X5.XYZ

A little ground glass comparison. This is a pretty rough test, but I positioned my Shen Hao next to my Standard 4x5 and used the same lens, wide open. I photographed the back of each camera using the same settings on my Nikon d7000 - iso 200, F5.6, 1/60. There is, according to my eye and the data, no significant difference in brightness or quality between the two.

The documentary of my time in Italy at Fabrica Research Centre is finally live for everyone! Filmed by Mattia Mura, it’s a great look into my image-making practice back when I was making work for This World and Others Like It.

Please give it a watch and let us know what you think - thanks! :)

Got my scans of the 6x12 done from a few weeks ago, and I have to say, they turned out beautiful.
