not even halfway through the song, this is going to be one of my favorite songs of all time.

I know we’ve had to say this since basically the bands creation but here is another reminder for friends who may have just joined the fandom or aren’t aware of this yet: Calum is not Asian, he is Maori which are the indigenous people of New Zealand. Maori falls under Polynesian, the same bloodline as the indigenous people of Hawaii. I still continue to see confusion on that so I just thought I would clarify. Calum is Maori.

Introduction
Dollhouse (noun) - a miniature toy house used for playing with dolls.
Vivian Carrington’s lived in a dollhouses, but it isn’t nearly as perfect as everyone thinks it is. From a distance, her life is spectacular. Her parents are happily married, and extremely well off. With her father being the CEO of their family business that has thrived over the years. Vivian’s mother is popular among the community, being the gorgeous and youthful woman, with an expensive fashion taste. Her older brother Juilian, is the star player on the varsity basketball team, and everyone’s favorite person.
How little does everyone know the reality of Vivian’s life. Everyone thinks that her parents are in love and content, but they’re wrong.
For years now Vivian remembers her father leaving on a “business trip” and he would come back with marks on his neck. Some nights he walks through the front door with some tramps I lipstick still on his face. Everyone in the family knows that her father is unfaithful, but no one speaks about it. In fact, no one speaks to each other.
Their family is so dysfunctional, the only time they have real conversations is when their out in public and they have to put on an act. They have to be the perfect dolls everyone knows them to be.
What happens when a blonde boy sees right through their act? Will Vivian finally have a true friend, instead of all the fake ones who only claim to be her friend because she’s rich, or will he expose her and her whole family? Either way, Vivian’s entire life is going to change
Authors Note: So here’s the intro to the next fanfic/ AU I’m writing! I’m pretty excited for it.
