Love Michigander lumberjacks! My great-great-great grandmother and her daughter, my great-great grandmother, worked in a lumberjack camp in Manistee, Michigan. They were the cooking, cleaning, sewing, laundry women of the camp and trying to make ends meet after my great-great-great grandfather died. They kept a rusty non-working shot gun in their cabin to scare off lumberjacks who occasionally came along and gave them “trouble”. I imagine it must have been scary to move to such an isolated place with no other women or families, plus the work sounds extremely hard!

The Hyampom Hog Bear is a bear that was reported by the lumberjacks in North America. The Hyampom Hog Bear is described as a bear with curly brown furn and a sharp nose. The Hyampom Hog Bear is said to love to eat pigs alive by taking massive bites out of them while the pigs scream.
