As a UH Alum, I’ve get a certain passion watching the Coogs in action. What an incredible journey for these guys during March Madness!! My family and I support the University of Houston come rain or shine and we saw this season through from the opening round all the way until the bitter end in the Elite 8. Last year we reached the Final 4, so who knows what next year will bring. Go Coogs!!!

WTW March Madness: Day 30

A list of possible names:

I already wrote an extensive list of all oc names, so I’ll brainstorm names for clans, places and other stuff I haven’t named yet:

• underwater city: Atlantis (too basic) oh no I took a deep dive into the fictional Atlantean language and now I want to construct a language for my underwater realm but I don’t have the skills and time needed to do so! So let’s go with Atlantis for now.
• palace of the siren family Kailani: Hale aliʻi kai (sea palace in Hawaiian; please correct me if you speak Hawaiian!)
• other siren family clans (surnames):Nerisura, Undimare, Thalaneh
• stone plateau (birthplace of dragons): Drakaina (the Ancient Greek word for female dragons)

Brainstorming title ideas for my WIP:

• dragon girl on fire: the working title of my WIPWIP, which is too descriptive and not a cool metaphor, so let me think of sth better!
• Fire starts catching: I think I stole that phrase from “Catching Fire” (Hunger Games) so I can’t use that one lol
• Risen from the ashes: sounds like my protagonist is a phoenix; maybe a misleading title?
• Drachenmädchen (dragon girl): a bit too uninspired
• Feuerrot (red like fire): doesn’t tell the reader anything about my wip
• Drachenbrut(dragon breed): I like this one best! It suggests that my protagonist isn’t seen as a girl, but as a breed; a being that shouldn’t exist. This will be my new working title from now on! Oh and let me know in the comments which title you like best.

My protagonist(s)’s vices or bad habits:

• Enya tends to ignore her girlfriend Meara completely after they had a fight while Meara wants to talk it out after a fight and will annoy Enya until they had a proper discussion; if necessary, she will annoy her for days to come
• Saoirse likes to seduce men and women, but leave them hanging in desperation because she doesn’t want to have sex with them, she just needs to feel wanted and get compliments
• Meara bites her nails when she feels anxious
• Dietbert laughs really loud about his own jokes and if others don’t join in his laughter, he laughs even louder
• Gudrun, Dietbert’s wife, likes to start fights over little things and throws things at her husband when she is really angry
• Kairi rats her younger sisters out and immediately tells their parents whenever they did something wrong
• Talib secretly smokes herbs that have a hallucinating effect
