GLOOMTH AND THE CULT OF MELANCHOLY
I am so happy to share these images from a collaboration with Gloomth! Gloomth is an indie gothic and lolita brand from Toronto, Canada. As I mentioned in my post on Instagram, “Gloomth” was one of the brands that I was introduced to when I started dressing in Lolita, so I was very excited to work with them!
This dress is from the Memento Mori series and it is named “Victoria”. I paired it with one of my beaded mourning capes to compliment this homage to mourning wear.

Laurel Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia
My final adventure of 2016 was a trip to the east coast with my best friend. We spent a couple of days in New Jersey/New York and then later took a Greyhound to Philadelphia
While in Philadelphia, I took a visit to Laurel Hill Cemetery. This cemetery is super hilly and it was absolutely windy but I got to see everything I wanted to. My favorite tombstones are the ones with the floral wreaths on them *sigh*<3

I recently posted a photo of my Victorian mourning cape collection on my Instagram account so I’ve decided to share it with those who follow me on Tumblr! These have been enhanced for your detail viewing pleasure of course.
I am a huge sucker for detail and intricate patterns. There is something about these pieces that made me fall in love with collecting these items in the first place.
