the statue in the bottom right is Le génie du mal, carved by guillame geefs to replace a different lucifer (known as either Le génie du malorL’ange du mal) carved by his younger brother. why did joseph geefs’ lucifer get removed from the cathedral? it was too sexy. the statue was too sexy by far.

The second in a series of images I’ve been working on. Just been enjoying working on the details and choosing some new colors and imagery to play around with. I’m looking to improve and try and work on a narrative of my own rather than that of a book or film, hopefully i’ll find a groove with the imagery I choose to do and think up some better stuff to work on. Made a start on this yesterday, think I’d had enough of drawing superhero’s lol I wanted to do something a bit different so I could try some things out as far as composition and color goes, and to come up with something more original rather than something from a film or book.
