LIVE

Have you ever wanted to watch a movie JUST LIKE “Dead Poets Society” but NOT “Dead Poets Society”? Well, let me put y'all on something. There is this polish movie called “ostatni dzwonek” (eng. Last bell). It was released literally the same time as DPS but it has very similar vibes.

If you want more encouragement, in the movie you can learn about Poland in the 80s. Because not everywhere 80s were as nice, glamorous as most of us perceive this time. I believe that educating ourselves about various aspects of history.

Also, in “Ostatni Dzwonek” you can find more strong female characters which is the most lacking thing in

And if you watch this movie because of my encouragement, please let me know in the comment:)

this is really random but i dreamt me and my friends were stranded on an island that hadn’t been discovered by humans yet and we were having a hard time moving through it - we all kept stumbling, slipping, tripping, falling. at some point we were all sitting on some rocks by the shore that were halfway in the sea and talking in attempts to figure out what to do next. as i randomly and half jokingly said “this island is trying to kill us”, the rock beneath me literally moved/changed its shape, somehow throwing me into the sea. that’s it. thanks for coming to my ted talk.

L'Inferno (1911)

“L'Inferno was italy’s earliest feature-length movie. Mostly set in hell, the movie is full of shocking (for the 1910s) imagery, such as a decapitated man carrying his own head, the torture of people buried up to their necks in the ground, and demons whipping a bunch of scared naked people. all of those scenes pale in comparison to the final image of satan sitting on the horizon and munching on the bodies of Brutus and Cassius.”

You know, I noticed something when watching Zootopia today. In assistant mayor Bellweather’s office, we get a look at her phone when she’s on the intercom with mayor Lionheart.

Look at that yellow sticky note. It says Doug. Now who do we know that’s named Doug? That would be the name of the sheep who was the drug dealer that Judy and Nick steal the train car from! Well done with the detail, Disney.
