#my book
First review forPhilophobia was online on amazon today. It’s lovely. There is hoping it won’t be the last one. In any case I’m gonna ride this happiness high for the whole weekend :) because like any writer I love hearing someone liked my story.
bi person: casually mentions that they’re bi
some creepy rando, every single fucking time: OH SO YOU LIKE TO FUCK HUH? YOU LIKE DICK AND PUSSY? HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT HAVING A THREESOME? WHAT’S IT LIKE WANTING TO CHEAT ON YOUR PARTNER ALL THE TIME? IM JUST ASKING QUESTIONS, I WANT TO LEARN :) WHY ARE YOU MAD AT ME I WASNT BEING OFFENSIVE IM JUST CURIOUS
Okay but like I was literally invited to ~*Harvard*~ as a keynote speaker to talk about my book, which is about bi politics.
When I arrived at the Airbnb I was staying at, the owner, being polite, asked me what I was doing in Cambridge, and so I told him. His reponse: “So, is it about how everyone is actually bi, or like trying to get people to be more open minded about it?”
I mean, SRSLY, he thought Harvard University flew me in from the other side of the planet so I can talk people into having threesomes???
And then the universe folded in on itself and now I am dead.
hey mututals i wrote a book
The Land of Lost Girls eBook : Milner, Jessica: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store
If you’ve ever read or enjoyed my fanfiction on here, if you ever wondered why Iused to tag stuff with ‘my-book’ and then stopped, if we’ve ever interacted, I’d love a share or a boost on this post. If you were so inclined as to buy the book that would be amazing but you don’t have to.
It’s a young adult/adult queer magical realism/fantasy peter pan retelling. In this story the main character is Carrie, who sent to stay with her Aunt Clare, who she’s hardly ever known. Through Clare’s magical sentient house Carrie winds up in Neverland, where she has to fight for her survival and falls in love with another lost girl.
If that sounds like your thing, or hell even if it doesn’t, please give this a reblog. At the moment the book is 2.99 ebook on amazon. The paperbacks will be 7.99 and should hopefully be available by the end of the week. Im working on getting it uploaded to kindle unlimited but am having some trouble, but i will update this post when i manage it.
Thank you!
Hey guys!! So, I am very excited to say that my book is officially available for purchase! It’s nothing like my fic writing, but it’s poetry and growing from trauma. If you’re interested, you can buy it on Amazon!
Amazon.com: Rebuilding Home (9798525900042): Manesh, Mikaila, Swank, Kayla: Books
If you purchase it, please let me know! I want to thank you!
My new m/m book is finally published! Check it out <3
“How’s work?”
“Well, a previously believed to be extinct species reappeared with the murder of a well-respected local political figure… despite that I’ve had more chaotic periods in my career.”
Do you like YA fantasy books with dragons, family drama, strong friendships and perhaps a pinch too much banter?
If so, you’ll enjoy my series Dear Dragon.
The first book will have been out for a year next month. It followed Itazu, a young adult who believed she was the last dragon until she visited her home-town and discovered another nine dragons in hiding.
My second book is due to come out in a couple of months and it continues her and all the other dragon’s story.
I haven’t got a definitive cover or name for it yet (apparently I like waiting until the very last minute and stressing myself out with releases), but what I do have is a book ready for reading.
So, if you’d like to be among the first people ever to read this book, I’d like to invite you to join my ARC team!
What’s an ARC team you may be asking?
ARC stands for Advanced Reader Copy, it’s standard practice in the industry where a certain number of readers receive a free copy (in this case ebooks) before release so they can read and review the book.
If this sounds appealing to you, click here to fill in my ARC application form.
There’s no obligations attached. Obviously the objective is to get reviews but I completely understand that life happens and gets in the way all the time, so if you receive a free copy and never read it or forget to review, don’t worry, I’m not going to chase you down or anything like that.
This is basically just another way for authors and readers to collaborate!
If you sign up to be an ARC reader, thanks so much for the interest, if you aren’t interested, I still hope you learnt something from this post about the book world.
As usual, have fun writing, have fun reading, and you can find my socials, book and other links of interest: here.
