This game is based on the Mystery Skulls Animated Series created by Mystery Ben with his team based on the music of Mystery Skulls. So definitely check out these creators of the source material and show them your love and support!
However, I hold responsibility for the content of the game (beyond the vast majority of characters, character design and anything else canon to the source material. If you’re not sure whether something in the game is canon or fanon ask before making assumptions!)

Decided to revisit this old crossover concept and did some redesigns +Shiromori (Mystery isn’t here yet because I haven’t decided if he’ll be a weekly boss as Murder Mystery or he’ll be fighting alongside Shiromori ✂️)
I also wrote their short skills and weapons under the cut, they’re not final tho, might revisit this later in the future

Monthly update time! The Lewis plush we’ve been working on with a new company is trucking along smoothly. Another pass or two of edits are still needed, but here’s how he’s looking so far!
We also thought it would be fun to share the shirt design that’ll go live alongside the plush pre-order designed by the artist Krooked Glasses on twitter!

The Lewis plushie prototyping has begun and storyboards for the next video are very close to finalization. Meanwhile, we’ve been working with our very good friend @thepurpah on an MSA prequel comic! First couple pages coming soon!

Hey everyone. On account of recent events, me and the team find it necessary to make a public statement on the situation. Squigglydigg, who previously did freelance on “The Future” video will not be returning for any position of production on any project related to Mystery Skulls Animated.
She was brought on as freelance, among a group of other freelancers, roughly a year ago. Her input on the project itself did not extend beyond her given roll as an animator. Regardless, the views expressed by her in no way reflect the views of the small, core MSA team or anyone else who participated in any leg of production. I wish to personally denounce such statements as much as possible. These views are extremely irresponsible and dangerous.
We will be placing an open call for freelance animators in the near future as expected. For anyone harmed by the toxicity this situation presented, I wish to personally extend an apology to those effected. We will strive to make sure this kind of scenario does not happen again.
So this took our crew by surprise today. As of right now, our shop is now selling Mystery Skulls Animated Enamel Pins!

One of my favorite props to design for the Mystery Skulls Animated music videos and Shiro’s most reliable weapon of choice. By now we’ve pretty much considered her weapon to be it’s own separate entity which allowed us to have fun putting in subtle expressions during Shiro’s fight sequences and in previous videos when shrunk down to their smaller form. Doing a full turnaround of such a complicated shape was a challenge, but I’m very happy with the final result.
