Preorder by 2/7 with your local comic shop if you want to get your hands on “Children of Lir”, the issue I worked on for Jim Henson’s The Storyteller: Shapeshifters! It’ll come out in hardback some day too, as part of the whole Shapeshifter’santhology. I haven’t seen the other work yet, but judging by the previous volumes, it’s gonna be something special!

I still exist! I have been working on starting up an arts business, and so haven’t had time for personal posting. May post more about that here at some point. For now, some barn owl studies based off of drawings by Ezra Tucker.

I know I haven’t posted in forever, but its because I’ve been having to set aside a lot of projects as I am currently working on renovating my art studio and turning it into a whole new space. This will hopefully make it easier for me to consistently make new things! I started working on this recently, as I enjoy making prints traditionally. I hope to have this one as well as a few other blocks done by the end of the months so I can have some new prints soon.

revisited and added a new page to this mini sketchbook I got months ago that I haven’t added to in so long- hopefully going to add a few more soon because doing this made me remember how much I love the paper texture in this book

It’s still been really hard to focus on drawing lately but I’m doing what I can to continue- These are just some quick 5-minute-ish sketches I did the other day. Not my best ever but that’s ok, I still like them.

I’ve literally been trying to post this for like a week but Tumblr said no.. at least it seems to be working now. This is one of two commission pieces I recently did for a friend! I shipped it a few weeks ago and it just recently arrived, pretty sure it’s off being framed right now.

I recently made some cards with these watercolour drawings on them to send to friends that live far away, and now that they have finally gotten them I can post them for others to see! These are two of my favourites that I made.
Considering opening up commissions for cards like these if there is any interest.

Update on a thing I had posted about before- I have been working on expanding all of the drawings in this series to a larger size and getting them ready to paint! Hopefully I can post another update soon with the painted versions.
