Eye is the kitten just opened.
Actually, and it had died in a few days is born.
Owners hard, was an effort to try to help a small life.
It made the heart of the owner of sad that in order to heal.
It is the size of riding a palm.

I made a small pretty Bolognese. This Bolognese is very energetic and gives the owner a smile every day.

I made a bear appearing in a fairy tale. Simple cello made with wire. A combination of needle wool and wire object is recent favorite.

I like creating holiday scenes inside of jars (sort of like a snow globe without the water) and then adding twinkle lights to give it a little sparkle. I call this “Trimming the Tree”. Design and needlefelting by me :)

Haven’t posted in quite a while…took a little break from making anything (aside from Etsy orders) halfway through December, got sick, then the holidays came, then got the flu on New Year’s Eve, so it’s a slow start to 2020 so far. Here’s a little sleepy Eevee I felted; the ears are maybe a little too big and rabbity though!

I tend to overthink things - I’ve been wanting to try photographing my felt sculptures to create illustrations for a while, but kept putting it off for not knowing where to start. So this morning I pulled out some stuff I already made, stuck it together, and just snapped some quick photos on my phone - and I really like how it turned out, despite it being obviously unpolished. The faux branch overhanging was a happy accident (it’s attached to the lamp I assembled everything next to) - wouldn’t have happened if I had over-planned it!
I’m really thinking about the potential for this as an illustration style I could offer, but at the very least I’d like to make prints of this type of thing and sell them/probably the pieces used for them (I’m working on reopening Mt. Marten!). I’ll update here when that happens!

Started this way back in early spring (if that isn’t obvious) but only got it all put together this past week, finally. Even though Mt. Marten is still closed, I don’t want to push felting to the side - so I’m gonna see if I can incorporate it into my illustration work this month as I work on a big portfolio bump before the virtual SCBWI conference and portfolio review! :)

After making a big order of clear eyes for my Etsy shop I had to try painting some. These two gold and silver eyes turned out awesome. I’m thinking of using them together on the same amigurumi but not sure what to make. Any pattern suggestions for 18mm eyes?

A little project I did today. It’s a needle felted Corgi, somehow it’s fun. I like how the fluffy wool turns into a shape. And I can form it into anything I want.
Also I have a lot of time at the moment, as I am recovering from my surgery and can’t go anywhere atm.
