as much as I love Bronwyn and Maeve, i love Addy and Ashton too. they don’t get enough recognition. their developed so much throughout the book and Ashton was there for Addy and kinda the only one who found Jake fishy.

“We’re friends, right Nate?” Bronwyn asks suddenly. I look towards her and see that she’s worried. Why would she be worried?
“Of course we’re friends. Unless you’re trying to trick me into saying something else…” I trail off. Bronwyn’s face goes an adorable shade of red as she looks anywhere but at me.
“What are you trying to imply Nate?” She mumbles.
I lift her chin up with my fingers and look her directly in her eyes. “What I’m trying to imply is that….I’m going to kill you!” I shout as my hands go straight to her sides. She starts laughing aloud as I begin to tickle her to death.

I said I haven’t tested it out but I guess I will have to now and I suppose I’ll choose Kris/Cooper because 1) I haven’t seen them get nearly enough love and 2) I think half of Taylor’s discography fits them so it’s really an unfair advantage
Taylor Swift Song: Dancing With Our Hands Tied
This song quite literally was made for them. It’s about that hesitation of letting someone in, of revealing to the world that you love someone, not because you’re ashamed, but because you feel like your life is far too tumultuous and you want to protect them from it. Cooper is initially so scared to love Kris in public, and he feels like he’s stuck in a situation where their relationship can never progress. That’s not true, of course, but it is how he feels.

I had to choose a German one lol and this one means love and trust and all things good that Cooper and Kris find with each other. Especially with the backdrop of everything happening with Simon, Kris is Cooper’s source of comfort every time. There’s never any indication of wavering love, or trust, or faith in one another, just fear of what might happen.
Flower: Bleeding Heart
Not just because it’s gorgeous and Cooper and Kris are gorgeous but because the imagery is too perfect. The heart with just a little droplet coming out of it is exactly how I imagine Cooper and Kris in the early stages of their relationship, with just a little drop of hesitation, and then that drop transforms into their love for each other, so outpouring that it cannot be contained within their own hearts.
Color: Seafoam Green
