Just to add to this “Luz’s palisman will be a bat” idea. It’s not exactly the first time she’s been shown to fight with a bat at her side…

I mean, it’s a baseball bat, sure. But a bat nonetheless.

Oh also more seriously, a bat kinda represents Luz perfectly. A bat is a creature that isn’t a bird, but it can still fly. Luz is a human, not a witch, but she can still do magic.
