Here’s a brief, but incredible and in-depth bio of Gravity Falls creator, Alex Hirsch, from 2010.
Alex Hirsch seen here smoking a cigar made from endangered panda skin, is a feared and loathed titan of industry who once called Chuck Jones a communist to his face and won a drinking contest against a champion racehorse.
Actually, Alex Hirsch is a 25-year old writer, board artist, and director who has done story work for Cartoon Network, Laika, Disney TV, Pixar, and JibJab. His career highlights include pitching bad puns to John Lasseter, touching Weird Al Yankovic’s hair, directing two pilots, and providing the voice of a female clam for Disney TV’s “Fish Hooks.” Currently he is wrapping production on the pilot for his first TV series, “Gravity Falls”, which, according to industry gossip, is going to be the greatest show ever made in the history of television. (And that includes Man Vs. Food)
In his spare time Alex enjoys posing for black and white pictures and writing biographies about himself in the third person.

I once saw a little girl at a riding lesson with stickers all over her riding helmet and she was the inspiration for Mabel’s helmet. Just like Mabel wears a different sweater every day, Skunk will get a different saddlepad.
I’m making an equestrian au and these are Dipper and Mabel’s horses.
~ Sir Issac Neighton is a blue roan mustang gelding. He is very chill and does not give a crap. He is intelligent and knows his way around the woods of Oregon. Issac is exhausted of Dipper constantly worrying and makes most of the decisions.
~ Skunk is a pinto gypsy pony gelding. He was Fiddleford’s childhood pony and is actually a unicorn in disguise. He can hide it because his horn is small and his mane and tail are very thick. He spooks at very little and enjoys being pampered by Mabel. Skunk has a map of Scotland on his right flank and a map of Oregon on his left.
like alex hirsch is not some sort of god of creativity and animation he is good at what he does and he is creative and talented but the quality and success of gravity falls he probably should have 10% of the credit at most, like seriously all the people that started their own shows after gravity falls didn’t get blessed by alex hirsch’s golden god buddha touch and become creative and talented creators, THEY WERE ALWAYS GREAT CREATORS!!!!!!

So, I find this scene quite interesting; not only because the scene itself is amazing, but also because Bill offers Stan money, I know it sounds dumb but think about this:
Stan, throughout the show, it’s shown to be obsessed with money, he wants to gain it so badly, no matter if the methods are questionable (remember when he in the 4th episode tried to literally sell his niece to a psychopathic jerk), but here we can see a development. Bill offers him one of the things he loves the most, yet Stan doesn’t accept it, he’s sacrificing his memories, all what he is to protect his family and the ones he loves. Stan is a true hero…
Alex Hirsch - icon, once threatened to kill the Chipmunks in a film called Waterchip Down, created the legendary Bill, voices the horror Hooty.
Dana Terrace - utter icon, openly pirates her own show, gave us a queer kiss (multiple) in a disney show, wrote lines into her show having a go at Disney, made it canon that Amphibia and The Owl House are in the same universe
Matt Braly - icon, plays the “I grow tulips” icon Chuck, made it canon that Amphibia and The Owl House are in the same universe on a different occasion to Dana doing it, killed three teenage girls.
Here are some interesting tips from Hirsch’s press-conference he held on Big Fest Russia on 16 April:
1. It was his first press-conference after GF’s finale. 2. He said that Dipper’s real name is… not Michael & it’s definitely not Mabel (though he loved the idea a lot). And it’s probably not Bill… but at that point Alex was acting quite evasive, so who knows. 3. Alex said, that all those 30 years Ford spent in the over dimension he was learning how to survive & trying to create weapons which will help him in his mission: destroy Bill Cipher. Bill’s agents were searching for him & there were leaflets with Ford’s portrait everywhere saying: “WANTED! Dead or alive. Reward guaranteed”. This leaflet will be in Journal 3. 4. If grunkle Stan is a criminal in our dimension, then Ford is the criminal in many others. During the 30 years of straying in other dimensions Ford gained lots of friends & foes. 5. There was an idea to make Dipper & Bill friends at first (during the “Sock Opera”). Bill befriended Dipper saying him that he was the tutor of many great minds & that Dipper was the chosen one. They even had flight as ghosts over Gravity Falls. But later Bill would betray Dipper. 6. Grunkle Stan is disappointed by the lack of bears in Russia. He didn’t fight any yet. 7. There was an idea for a mini episode with Mabel, where she would explain how to deal with… death. She had a pet caterpillar which was eaten by a bird & so Mabel is explaining how to go through loss. But Disney said: there is no way this gonna happen! 8. There was a plot during Weirdmageddon where Dipper clones number 3 & 4, after they got to know that Pines tweens are coming back home, decided to kidnap Dipper & replace him in real life. 9. Alex asked us if we would be interested in “Gravity Falls” comics. Of course we yelled: “YES!!!” So he said that he wants to talk to Disney about GF comics series. 10. First Bill was just Bill. But unfortunately “Bill” was already a trademark. So they thought of calling him Bill Black. But there is one real person called Bill Black in America, so this won’t gonna happen too. Happily there is no one called Bill Cipher in USA. 11. Bill came from the dimension where he was treated badly & he can’t return back anymore. 12. Alex mentioned “Rick and Morty” saying something like: “They can shoot the man in the face, but we can’t do the same thing in Gravity Falls”. But now he is working on a new project which might have all these possibilities. (He also said in Morty’s voce: “Oh-oh my god, Rick! You… you shoot him in the face!”). 13. At first there was a plan to use eight and a half president of America in Weirdmageddon, but they didn’t have enough time. 14. There was a scene with Bill Cipher helping Stanley Kubrick to film the moon landing. It was cut because of the time lack.
