Another one of my miniature worlds! This time a microscopic painter’s studio inside a gold-plated vintage women’s watch case. I have added quite a lot of details such as an easel, canvases, drawings, paint tubes, palette, paint brushes as well as much more. All the tiny paintings have been hand-painted and the front has been closed with a piece of glass which I have cut to size. The scale of the scene is about 1:200. The final piece has been complemented with a gold chain so it can worn as a necklace. Enjoy!

Oil paintings by Giovanni Sanesi (Italy, 1992):
I love contemporary figurative art in general, but his paintings just have something more to them that resonates so much with how I feel. In his series inspired by the events of the russo-ukrainian war, he documents this dramatic event through youth’s dreamy eyes, as if it was almost a dream, something that could never truly happen.

7E Guest Artist - Norman Galinsky
Norman is a painter/printmaker with a background in Science and Chemical Engineering. After 7 years as an engineer, he left the industry to pursue his graduate studies at Columbia University in 1973. Since then, he continues his research and spellbinding work. When I look at his pieces, I find myself transfixed! 7E is honored and privileged to showcase his most recent paintings.
All work are intricately hand drawn with a meditative flow. He writes, “The images suggest emissions of energy waves and particles, vibrating fields and networks that denote a synthesis between the material world and a hidden quantum universe. Many of the works utilize symmetry and circular imagery of converging forms, a central focus of “stillness” to express the unity of consciousness—the one shared life."
With extensive knowledge in both realms of art and metaphysics, he also teaches martial arts and Chinese healing.
Can you get any cooler than that? I don’t think so.
