to stay silent is to stand with the oppressors. it’s our duty to help the people of palestine and spread awareness. if you have a platform please use it, even if only one person listens, if it was our people being the targets of colonization and genocide we’d want people to stand with us too so we need to stand with palestinians today and tomorrow and everyday until they’re finally free of persecution on their own land

there’s no “both sides” so don’t be tricked, this isn’t a religious issue at all, they’re targeting muslim palestinians, jewish palestinians, and christian palestinians indiscriminately, this is ethnic cleansing, this is genocide! idk how anyone can stay quiet or “neutral”, there’s nothing to be neutral about.

israelis cut the energy off in gaza today during their attacks so that the palestinians who are being attacked can no longer post and spread awareness on the matter, it’s our duty to help palestine and use all our social platforms to tell the world what’s going. our voices matter and if we make enough noise we can make some important changes!

You can also watch these videos to donate to Palestine. All of the Ad revenue will be donated to Palestine so make sure to not skip the ads.

“I am tired of reporting the same brutality every day, of thinking of new ways to describe the obvious. The situation in Sheikh Jarrah is not hard to understand: it is a perfect illustration of settler colonialism, a microcosm of the reality for Palestinians across 73 years of Zionist rule. This vocabulary is not theoretical. It is evident in the attempts to throw us out of our homes so that settlers can occupy them – with the backing of the regime, whose forces and policies provide violent support for the transfer of one population to install another.”

- Mohammed El-Kurd, Palestinian activist and journalist

I know I’m late, but in August 2 will be the the dispossesion hearing of 4 families in Sheikh Jarrah, including AL Kurd family who where the ones who brought the issue the attention it needs few months ago.

Yes, we can still do something. We can show our support to those families and make online noise and pressure to show Isreal government that we are watching and we won’t watch silently the ethnic cleansing happening in Palestine .

For more info, @sheikhjarrahunitsoffical is an Instagram account that keeps updating on Sheikh Jarrah

In the last weeks in Palestine

Don’t look away from Palestine. Israel will keep on doing these crimes if they think they can get away with it. The best we can do is to clog zionist propaganda. Palestinians have been systemically silenced on social media and news outlets, and Muna El Kurd, one of the leaders of the Save Sheikh Jarrah movement, has already said that spreading the word is very important to fight zionism.

Be angry and amplify Palestinian voices. The above links go back to activist accounts, follow them and share their updates. Attend protests (here’s a constantly updating list of pro Palestine protests) and follow organizations to know when the next ones will be held. Some of them: USCPR,Palestinian Youth Movement,Within our Lifetime,Arab Resource and Organizing Center, and Mohammed El Kurd (he often posts calls for action from all over the world on his stories).

There is also a ResistBot petition (https://resist.bot/petitions/PIDTLG) to protest the use of US tax dollars to support Israel. Text “SIGN PIDTLG” to 50409 to text ResistBot.

(I’m not Palestinian, so if OP wants me to delete this, I will.)

As Eid is close again, Idf scum are once again attacking the holy mosque Al Aqsa and attacking Palestinians more than usual. This is nothing new. They always intensify their terror and attack on Palestinians during the mkat religious days in the islamic calendar.

demolishing peoples houses to make room for an amusement park is literally movie villain shit

I cannot believe the world is letting Israel get away with this garbage

This post is 2 weeks old and I just wanna say that this is still ongoing.

Palestinian families are quickly becoming homeless. Many are living on the streets or from their cars right now with what little belongings they were able to salvage from their houses as Israel continues to demolish Palestinian homes

Al-Aqsa won’t be stormed a second time

Al-Aqsa is a very sacred Mosque for muslims, located in Jerusalem.

Imagine having a group of extremists storm your place of worship on a holy day! And this happened before btw.

In the past months Aqsa Mosque had been stormed 2 times (link here) , stun grenades and rubber bullets were thrown, trapping people praying inside.

Reblog, share, retweet, spread the word so racisim and injustice like this can be prevented.

arabian-batboy:

What’s funny about all of these Zionists claiming that Israel is a Jewish state, is that when you look at all area Israel fully controls, then technically speaking, Jewish people are actually the (ruling) minority in Israel.

They’re 7 million Jewish Israeli-settlers and 2 millions Palestinians with Israeli citizenship in what is now occupied ‘48 Palestine (Aka Israel). Meanwhile there are almost 3 millions Palestinian and 500,0000 Jewish settlers in the West Bank (which Israel control in every sense of the word) and there’s the supposedly Hamas-controlled Gaza Stripe (which Israel literally controls how many calories per person can enter and leave) which host more than 2 millions Palestinians.

So when you do the math, in all of the area Israel is controlling (even if they don’t want to admit that WK & Gaza is 100% a part of them), Jewish people are a little less than half the population and if we allowed all the 7 million Palestinian refugees to return to their country that they were ethnically cleansed out of by Zionists, then Jewish people would be about 30% of the population (which is exactly the same percentage they were in 1947′s Palestine, before the Palestinian Exodus/The Nakba and before Israel’s “declared” independence.)

So get it through your head: Palestine and Israel aren’t two countries, they were never two countries. There’s one country, Palestine, from the river to the sea and Israel was built on top of Palestine in 1947/1948 and is now an apartheid ethno-state.

Israa jaabis, a Palestinian prisoner was arrested by IOF after they left her burning in her car!

For 6 years she was prevented from medical help, she’s even prevented from taking analgesic drugs while she’s suffering from unbearable pain, she needs 8 surgeries.

Eight of her fingers were already amputated and her vital functions are declining.

In the scorching summers, her burn wounds develop irritations.

She needs cosmetic surgery and psychologic counseling for her trauma.

Her ears are in need to be separated from her head and her nose is totally blocked because of her burns, therefore she breathes from her mouth instead!

Israa was detained in 2015.

Today, Israa is still struggling to get essential medical treatment.

“You are in your car thinking what you will cook for lunch. Suddenly, shooting you and the car explodes. Your skin and bones burn. Also, they take you to prison without treatment and call you terrorist.”

Talk about Esraa and share her story.

a palestinian blogger recently said “i’m tired of screaming for their causes when they refuse to even whisper for my people”

instagram threatened to delete her page not long after for “inspiring violence”

and i’m still just sitting and thinking about the ugly truth of those words and how hard it is to make truth known when speaking up results in having our socials banned or deleted and anyone with a voice still can’t spare a whisper

LGBTQ Palestinian musician Bashar Murad, best known for his collaboration with Icelandic techno-punk band Hatari

His 2021 released EP ‘Maskhara’ is excellent.

“Yes, we need to fight on and resist but we need to take care of ourselves and each other too.

“And this is also what I mean when I am talking about escape, it’s not to say give up. It’s about taking a break before going on to fight another day.”

“Art is also a legitimate form of resistance and that was beautiful to see in the protests,” he says.

“When you are forbidden from resisting in any way, you become more creative.

“So we raised flags and balloons and the Israeli soldiers took them down. We then drew these murals on the walls and the municipality sprayed over it. And then we sang these songs despite the troops coming for us.

“While not many of us have the energy to be oppressed and attacked every day, art was a galvanising force and is the way to still keep the conversation going on what’s happening.”
