Be part of an important study on the genetics of sexual orientation
· Have you had your DNA analyzed by 23andMe or Ancestry?
· Are you 18 years or older?
If you answered YES to these questions, you are eligible to participate in a study on sexual orientation.
The purpose of this research study is to understand how genetics may influence people’s personalities and sexual orientation. If you take part in this online study, we will instruct you how to find your genetic data file on your 23andMe account and upload it to our secure website. We will also ask you to complete a series of questionnaires on your personality and sexual behavior.
Time required to complete the study should be about 15-25 minutes.
Anyone 18 years or older who has been sexually active and has had a 23andMe or Ancestry analysis is eligible to participate, regardless of sexual orientation.

Hello everyone!
I’m happy to announce that next year will be the 40th anniversary of the anime. To celebrate this, I decided to organize a new UY Week. I know the last one was done in 2015 and the person who organized the first one authorized me to make it. I know we’re such a tiny fandom, but it was the reason of the creation of the UY fanblog.
Let’s talk about the week then. Like 5 years ago, it’ll be the same date as the original one. From the 4th to the 10th of January! I’ve talked a lot with many other UY fans and artists. Most of them agreed that it was a good time to have it again. Now about the prompts for the UY week:4th - Favorite OP/END: Simply your favorite opening and/or favorite ending. You can share the OP and the ED if you want!
5th - Favorite Moments: Any moment you loved, that made you laugh or made you cry. It can be from the manga or anime!
6th - Favorite Movie: UY content from any of six movies. One of them probably made your heart beat more!
7th - Favorite Alien Character: UY is filled with aliens. You surely love one of them more than any other!
8th - Favorite Human Character: Human are cool too, so make sure to never forget them, haha!
9th - Favorite Relationship: For this one you can share any relationship you loved. It can be your OTP, your favorite friendship or even the best rivalry of the series. Of course you can share all of them!
10th - Free Day: You can what you want today. What does UY need more? Any AU? Something you like that I forgot in this list ? Today is the day where you get to choose freely!For each day you can do art, edits, gifs, or just writing! This is week is your week and the week for our favorite series! Let’s make it a week where we can show how much we love it!

hey! so for those of you who didn’t already know, i currently live in Japan, where same-sex marriage is not yet legal. tomorrow afternoon, the Japanese Diet is having a hearing concerning same-sex marriage, and they’re “gauging interest” based on the viewership of the livestream. basically, if people don’t watch, they’ll just write off the issue as niche and avoid it for as long as possible.
i’m posting about this here because, for ~some reason~, the hearing is to start at 1pm. on a regular thursday. when people are at work.
so, for those of you who will be awake at 1pm JST on thursday the 26th of november, i ask you to please contribute to the youtube live viewer count. i’ll put the link in a reblog.
