Design was originally by another artist, i don’t know their name but this is their design with my minor tweeks.
This peni calida Power, i had to change her name since in this au miles is the mentor and peni is the student (just like Peter and miles) peni’s name is the is obvious spidergirl but she also goes by The pink spider and the Kaji spider. Kaji means “fire” just like her middle name.
A color key and some graphics from act 3 stuff. Towards the end I did a ton of graphics. These were Peni related graphics. What would graphic design from 2199 Tokyo look like? -
First we have final placement and color key with background colors based Patrick O’keefe and Dave Bleich color keys. Then we have my proof of concept which I did before any final graphics. Sometimes it’s easier to design graphics when you know what shapes and how many you’ll need. Then we have the flat graphics and a call-out sheet. Then we got some HUD graphics for SP//dR flat graphics, color key/placement over rough shout and a placement over Yashar Kassai Interior designs. -
Lastly we have the new goober design.

One of my assignments was to figure out what Gwen’s, Peni’s, Noir’s and Ham’s world’s could look like. Gwen’s is based off Jason Latour Robbi Rodriguez and Rrico Renzi Gwen books, Peni is futureworld based on @jakewyattriot, Noir is… Noir, and Ham is pulling from old mid century cartoons like Pigs is Pigs

Goodbye 2018! I have so much more artwork to post but wanted to end the year with a bang. One of the many, but probably most complicated, burst cards I had to do for the film. Most of the burst cards on the film were heavily influenced by western classic comics, but I figured Peni Parker’s busts would be more like classic manga. Most of this was on 2’s with the camera shake on 1’s. This assignment nearly broke me as I’ve never animated traditionally so I had a lot to learn and figure out in very little time. Thankfully Joshua Beveridge and his incredibly talented team gave a wonderful place to start with their initial pass on this animation.
