i’ve been so entertained by the main story in PLA to the point that my team is really underleveled,,, guess i am pausing the main game for a bit of grinding and maybe do some requests while i am at it
The latest news for Pokémon Legends: Arceus has been released during the Pokémon Presents. We’re currently compiling all details so keep checking back:

The Pokémon battles are changing with different styles and an Action Order: Strong Style and Agile Style
The Pokémon akin to Stantler is called Wyrdeer and the fish is Basculegion. There are also Hisuian Form Pokémon such as Growlithe and Braviary

Ingo’s disappearance was pretty freakish, not so much as a clue left behind save for his pokemon. It isn’t until Amelia disappears right from her older brother’s side that Ienzo figures a pokemon might be involved in all this.
Que Ienzo bursting into his father’s office demanding where Celebi’s flute is. Celebi exists all throughout time after all- surely they have to know where at least Ingo and Amelia are in the world. Right? He needs his mother’s Gallade or Jessie and James’ Meowth to act as a translator however, seeing as Ienzo and Emmet don’t speak pokemon.
Not illustrated is Emmet and Ienzo wrecking havoc to find their siblings in the past and Ienzo freaking out seeing Daigo- who is the younger yet spitting image of their father, Steven, and as a result- the spitting image of Ienzo as well.
Kenji should not be trusted, btw. Evil. Verrrrrry evil.
Reading up on how hard Volo supposedly is to beat, and I’m genuinely questioning how my team survived him when I had only 3 max revives and 3 full restores (items which I only used when he was down to like his last two pokemon since I figured there’d be a round 2). The only legendaries on my team were Dialga and Palkia, and I hardly even used them as they were mostly just there for backup.
Like. Was it a fluke??? Is my Sylveon that overpowered at only level 68?
Also, question. Is Volo as hard to beat as Cynthia, or is Cynthia even more difficult? Asking because as a kid when I played Platinum one of my cousins (unsurprisingly) stole my game before I could reach the Elite Four. So I’ve never fought her. But I do know the two use the same Pokémon team.
so. after you do the post-game plot with volo and catch giratina and stuff, it’s mentioned in dialogue that after the player defeated it, giratina realized it should protect hisui, instead of harming it.
and then cut to far in the future, when cyrus, someone with similar plans to what volo and giratina were trying to do, shows up. and giratina puts a stop to him itself, in an absolute rage.
so basically, the CANONICAL REASON giratina has both been known as a “pokémon banished for its violence” and a “protector that watches from the shadows” is because it underwent character development.
