Took a hike on Angels Rest Trail in the Columbia Gorge. The view from up here was amazing and the weather was perfect. I only wished that I brought picnic stuff … but there is always next time.

Elevated Bicycle Skyway
in the middle of the forest, this spot is located about 25 miles west of Portland, Oregon. This 21+ mile long route is a railroad to multi-use pathway conversion which is very popular with bicyclists and hikers. The picture seen here is long wooden bridge going over a small valley. It was a pretty cool sight indeed. If you want to check it out, it is called the Banks Vernonia State Trail.Post link
I captured this moment along the Springwater Trail in Portland, Oregon. Specifically, this scene is of the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge which has a nice 2.5 mile hike around a pond a small creek. There are many a bird species around here which makes for some nice wildlife photography for the avid photographer.
