#post apocalyptic

In Watermelon Sugar is bizarre, unique, and amazing. This book is written by a poet and you can feel that as you read; it feels like a form of free-verse, abstract poetry. The story itself is 138 pages, many of these pages only being half filled as you’re quickly taken through the narrators thoughts. The whole story takes place in only a few days, with some story telling of past events, in what seems to be a post-apocalyptic world.
The great thing about this book is you feel like the author could be alluding to so many things and feelings in some instances, while he uses simple, to-the-point writing and sentences. In other instances, the things he writes are such universal and understandable things.
This was short, interesting, chaotic, and a great example of the post-modern/post-apocalyptic books that were written from the 40’s to the 60’s.

ALBATROSS:The Garden
I treated myself over the holidays with the cover for the revamp of ALBATROSS.
Very excited about getting back to this series in the new year, I have a lot of story written out and there are going to be some changes. Coming back to it after a year, I decided to restart the series as I felt it was not going in the direction I wanted and I am very excited to show you all the new world.
I’ll have some updates in the coming month as to when I’ll start posting again. Thank you all for your love and support of the series past and I hope I can entertain you all with the new series!

So I’ve had a few people approach me about the future of ALBATROSS and if I intend to continue it. I have not had the time to in this year to work on it but I would very much like to continue the series.
I can’t express my thanks for the support I’ve gotten for it, without it this story wouldn’t have happened, and I would love to know if you all are interested in seeing it continue.
