Today at the beach @epicself and I tried this partner yoga pose. I’ve never even attempted this before with anyone. At first, I was turned the other way, but was afraid I’d hurt her ribs. So I turned the other way and found a great stability with my hands on her hips. She held this wheel pose for a long time while I tried new positions and walked all over her belly! Sometimes it takes some playtime with someone to get to know how strong and supportive they truly are. And she is truly as great in real life as she is as an #Acroyoga base. Definitely the kind of rockstar angel I want on my team. ✨ I’m amazed that we had 2 spontaneous people register today for our yoga training immersion! I love Easter. My grandmother was born on this day, over 100 years ago! So she was named Esther, from the Bible. She was so awesome!! The best cook ever, her pies and special recipe banana bread were famous in the Black Hills of South Dakota, where she lived. She was a beautiful shining example of goodness, kindness, generosity and unconditional love.
Easter is a powerful holiday that represents to me that no matter what trials and challenges we go through, with faith, love and trust, we can always rise again. Although I don’t practice any one religion, I love master Jesus and all he represents. We can all learn from his unconditional love and faith in the higher power. He showed the world that these bodies are temporary, it is our souls that are eternal.
My other grandmother was born in London, and she was Jewish. My mom was a Rasta and my dad is a Krishna /Jew. ✌️ #allisone #alllove #happyeaster #onelove (at Playa Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica)

Here’s a great #motivationmonday story for you! I’m sharing this photo because Diana ( @dvaciderayoga ) is such an inspiration. She came to Bali last June to train with me and got her 300 hour yoga teacher certificate. One day we went on excursion to try #supyoga. She was really afraid because she can’t swim. She’d never been on a paddle board or in the ocean before, but she decided to over come her fears and give It a try. I assured her we will be safe. The yoga board is a great life saving floatation device! So, she did It and had such a blast! Then after almost 1 year, she decided she loves sup yoga and came down here to #costarica to get certified in #paddleboardyoga! She is living proof what you can achieve when you say no to fear and say yes to life! Anything is possible. ✨ What about you?
