I couldn’t resist. I had to put together a little #Potato video after hearing this potato song!!! Her perfect little doe-eyed expressions and tiny smile makes my heart melt! Potato suffers from a lot of anxiety and will often run over to me for comfort and protection. You can see from the video, she feels the safest under a blanket or my hand. It breaks my heart she gets so anxious. You don’t have to be scared Potato… I will always protect you my little tater tot! ! Love you forever. ✨

SWEET MIZU CUDDLES.
From the moment I met #Mizu I knew we were connected. Usually baby girl #ratties are super hyper and it’s tough to get them to sit still. But since day one, Mizu has always been the snuggliest #rat ever! This is a video of her at 5 ½ weeks just cuddled up on my lap! How chill and adorable is she??? To this day, Mizu still crawls up to me to snuggle and sleep. She melts my heart! I love you so much sweet Mizu!!! PS- the other yummy rattie is baby #Heaven !!!!! Cuteness overload!

RAT THERAPY. I always thought #Potato would make a great therapy pet! She’s sweet, gentle, cuddly and wonderful with children. She suffers from anxiety and afraid of all things big… so it makes sense she feels safer with kids. And she loooooves handsome boys! Look at her smile! Such a FLIRT! Potato has always had a weight issue and per her vet, I put her on a diet to slim her down. But the scale just doesn’t move! PURE BLISS.
We’ve all been there. You’re super relaxed, your MOUTH opens up and someone takes a photo or a video of our silly face! Guilty as charged! Whenever #Heaven is feeling really good, she will open her mouth and make the funniest face! (Watch video) She cracks me up!!!
She is such a love bug and I just can’t get enough of her! I named her Heaven because of how she makes me feel when I’m with her. She is the epitome of happiness, love and laughter! I love you Heaven and your derpy face!

YAWN, BOGGLES & LOVE.
My #babyrat #Toupee absolutely idolizes #Mizu - She follows her everywhere, copies her every move and sleeps with her every single night. Definitely a Stage Five Clinger! Since a very young age, Toupee would go underneath Mizu to try to get milk from her, so it looks like she sees Mizu as her mother? It’s so adorable and sweet!
At first, when #Toupée would follow her everywhere, Mizu would look up at me like, “Um, I didn’t sign up for this. I need my space!” But now, I’m so proud of Mizu. She is very patient with Toupee, let’s her crawl all over her and gives her kisses and boggles every day. By the way, for those who don’t know what boggling is, it’s when #ratties grind their teeth which makes their eyes move quickly in and out of their sockets … an action that typically means they’re very happy and content! It can also mean they’re not feeling well, but in this case, it’s clear that it’s nothing but pure #love and affection! God I wish I had a shrinking machine so I could crawl in there between them and join in on the love! Love you Meez and Toops! You melt my heart!

CANCER FREE! I’ve got great news! My sweet Heaven’s biopsy results came back and we found out it’s NOT cancer! The texture and firmness of the tumor had us all concerned, but I’m soooo happy to say the tumor is benign. So now, #Heaven just needs to heal from the incision - she ripped out half of her sutures and got an infection, but she is on antibiotics and will hopefully be better soon! Heaven has always been the mama bear of the group, so even when she wasn’t feeling great, this whole time, she’s been there to kiss and groom the #babyrats and be a pillow for #Potato to sleep on. And I want to give my babies #Toupee and #Roux so much credit! They are the craziest, most playful rats I’ve ever had, yet since the surgery, they have not once tried to pounce on or play with Heaven. As if they know, she needs to rest and heal. These animals have so much empathy … if only more people knew the love of rats! Now if you’ll excuse me… I have to go stop Roux from eating my headboard. Never a dull moment in this household! SLEEPY ROUX.
Ever watch your #rattie sleep and just MELT? #Roux is a very mischievous and playful #babyrat who is constantly popcorning all over the place - but when she plays hard … she sleeps hard!!! Look at her crossed little arms, rattie feet and yummy belly! It’s almost too much to handle! Roux gets scared very easily, so I’ve been giving her a lot of hoodie time and comforting her with lots of love and kisses. It looks like she’s finally starting to feel safe with me. Don’t worry Roux, I will always protect you little one. You don’t ever have to be scared again.
