Chris was sulking.

Chris smiles into the kiss, his hand finding your face and he moved to hover over you. He kisses you deeply as you wrap your arms around his shoulders keeping him there.
No words can be said to calm Sherlock down. The detective’s face is pale beyond belief, his eyes wide with clear panic despite his efforts to hide it. He disappears into his Mind Palace for the majority of the drive, only snapping out of it long enough to either snap at John for his poor attempts of comfort or to order Lestrade to drive faster.
The inspector does his best to bite back any sour words, realizing that this is no time to argue or get offended by the man’s harshness. To be honest, he’s a bit afraid to. Never in all his years of knowing Sherlock has he seen him so visibly panicked or upset.

I posted here about several ebooks I recently purchased (with much gratitude to a reader’s surprising and wonderful gift!!). Now that I have finished reading them, I wanted to share my brief reviews of each.
Nineteen Weeks by William Vitelli: 5/5. The D/s dynamic here is F/mf for the most part. We get a welcome glimpse of Anthony and Eileen from Elicitation/Evocation, and I rate it 5 stars just for being able to see more of Anthony’s view towards Eileen.
Dark Night of the Soul by Kitty Thomas: 4/5. I liked it! Hot and humiliating, with good internal conflicts. More sex scenes.
Her Master’s Teacher by Lily White: 1/5 stars. I didn’t like this one, though I know there are plenty of readers this book would appeal to. It’s not terrible at all, but personally I just found the relationship and the sex and the kink overall boring. I prefer writing and reading about dubious consent; this one tripped too far over the line into abuse for my personal tastes.
Born to be Bound by Addison Cain: 3.5/5 stars. Dark romance. Noncon/rape. Good dark fantasy stuff, but I’m a romantic at heart so I wanted more of that. Addison Cain usually treads that line very well for me, but in this story, the miscommunication frustrated me.
Papa’s Little Pain Princess by Zoe Blake: 4~4.5/5 stars. Zoe Blake writes extremely hot and humiliating Victorian ageplay. This was more of the same (this is a good thing), and I liked the tender and erotically romantic playfulness in this book. It was shorter than expected though, and I wanted to see more of Winnie’s life in the household. The first half of the book goes into some detail in the initial scenes, but once Winnie is in her new household, the scenes are much shorter when they were ripe for deeper exploration.
Feminists have promoted orgasms as a liberation for women but it’s the exact opposite. Orgasms make women slave to their desires, always craving for immediate reward. Freeing them from this burden opens their mind to the fulfilling role of anal only sluts.
