Third child and second son of King Jaehaerys IandQueen Alysanne, husband to his aunt Lady Jocelyn Baratheon, and father to Princess Rhaenys “The Queen Who Never Was”. He had pale lilac eyes and rare white-gold hair. He was also known to be handsome and tall, even taller than his tall wife. He was the dragonrider to Caraxes. He was supposed to be the heir of Jaehaerys but he died at 92 AC in Tarth. He never had a son with Jocelyn, and so his brother Prince Baelon became the new heir.

She’s wife to Corlys Velaryon “The Sea Snake” and had two children, LaenaandLaenor. Sadly, she outlived both of her children. She died at the age of 55 in the battle at Rook’s Rest .

Beloved youngest sister-wife to King Aegon the Conqueror,mother to King Aenys I, anddragonrider toMeraxes. She had purple eyes and silver-gold hair, and the opposite to her older sister, Visenya. Compared to her older siblings, she spends more time on dragon back. She died in one attack in Dorne at 10AC and her body was never recovered, leaving the 3-year-old Aenys motherless.
Aegon the conqueror, first of his name and his sisters/wives Rhaenys and Visenya. The first king of the Targeryan dynasty and the first to unite the realm.
(Been really into The song of Ice and Fire’s lore and history lately. Since the show House of dragons will be coming this summer. I thought Id catch up and rewatched Game of Thrones. But I do think the show will begin at the start of the dance of the dragons so Im really excited for that. Hoped I finished these earlier but due to personal reasons i havent. Been practicing drawing more fantasy stuff lately too.)

hello! :D here’s how i image rhaenys targaryen, i mostly based her off this super gorgeous model called sasha luss! i wanted to draw meraxes somewhere in the background but i didn’t know where to place a giant dragon lmao. hope y’all enjoy <3
Princess Elia, Princess Rhaenys, and baby Prince Aegon.
There’s no way I would draw character’s from pre-Robert’s Rebellion and not draw these three. (And kitty Ballerion of course). Initially Elia’s dress was really challenging, I wasn’t sure how much Targaryen fashion would influence her wardrobe. Since this is the Mad King we’re talking about, I ended up mostly skewing Targaryen with the dorne sari/sash, neckline, jewelry and orange-reds instead of purple-reds.
Rhaenys is dressed in fairly classic Targaryen fashions but with mostly gold accents and some Dornish jewelry. (She’s also accompanied by Ballerion the Cat). And baby Aegon is chillin in some Targaryen red-purple.
