I decided that white doesn’t suit Kakucho at all and that Ran should have adopted him and give him the traditional haitani black uniform (+ skull pin ofc)
— note. i havent been writing these days so its very rusty :(( i just really wanted to post this short thing i’ve had in my head dince last night
“you slapped me with a baton twelve years ago. don’t you remember?” sanzu palms the back of his head with a frown, one finger pointing at the odler haitani accusingly. ran merely rolls his eyes, the corner of his lips turning up to form a proud smirk that revealed his pearly whites.
“that i did, yes.” somewhere in the back, one could hear the muffled voice of his younger brother, trying his best to hide his laughter behind a pillow at sanzu’s poor choice of words. slapped, he wheezed, almost choking in the process
sanzu frowns, rubbing the back of his skull in a soothing motion as if he could still feel the imapct of his baton on his head. “you were rude,” he huffs, crossing his arms childishly before looking away. his actions earned a snicker from the older haitani who had no intention of ever apologising.
“you’re not one to talk, sanzu. you hit me with a metal pipe. that’s ten times more worse than ran’s plastic baton.” kakucho sends the pink-haired executive a glare, pointing at the spot where he was hit. “that one was different!” sanzu exclaims, sweat building up his forehead when he feels the burning glares of kakucho drilling holes on his form. kakucho folded his arms as he leans further into the couch, “how so?”
sanzu does not hesitate, “i did it out of love!”
“love! he did it out of love!” rindou breaks down laughing wildly, slapping his knee harshly at his friend’s proud answer. his older brother follows soon after, holding on to the wall for support as he holds his stomach with one hand.
kokonoi, who had been watching silently from afar along with takeomi, merely shook his head and walked away. i don’t know them, he thought. he was hit with a realizion that, without him, bonten wouldn’t last a day with these fools running the organisation.
“love? while yelling ’die, kakucho!’ like a madman?” kakucho raised na eyebrow at sanzu who only puffed his chest as if he was being wrongly accused for something. his fingers began drumming on the skin of his arm, rpetending to be losing patience when in reality, he was amused.
“have you not heard of the phrase kill them with love?”
rindou wiped a stray tear off of his cheek, “it’s kindness. kill them with kindness, sanzu.”
the pinknette waved his hand, “same thing. the point is!” he drmatically pauses, staring straight at kakucho’s eyes with a blank expression, making kakucho shiver at the duality. “my metal pipe is made out of love, kaku.”

izana
student president; in his 3rd year
really competitive so definitely one of the top students of the school
sometimes hears about the trouble mikey’s causing in the school’s middle school and pops a blood vessel because he has a reputation
his teachers think he’s an angel and a great role model because he’s responsible and reliable
the other students have mixed opinions, half of them are intimidated by him because he can be really scary if he wants to and you do not want to piss off izana (he won’t beat you up per se but everyone knows he for sure could, also his verbal attacks are already more than enough)
the other half just admires him because wow he seems like he has his life together and is just the perfect man in every aspect. nonetheless all of them respect him for one reason or another
lots of romantic admirers too but doesn’t get into a relationship with any of them, he’s too busy and needs someone on the same wave length as him
once people saw him interact with mikey they fell even harder because now he also has the “reliable older brother” title. what they don’t know is that while they see izana smiling at mikey and ruffling his hair he is actually threatening him not to ruin his repuation at school in a loving way but mikey shut up quickly after that conversation and didn’t cause trouble at school for a little while
in the council he obviously takes the leading position and he takes it serious. which can be irritating as hell when it’s after school and half of the club is doing everything but their job
at the end of the day they get along well though, all of them respect izana a lot and he appreciates having people that he can be real with instead of putting on the perfect facade for the school
kakucho
vice president; 1st year
it was a bit odd for the vice to be someone in their 1st year (bc i’m ignoring his actual age since logically they wouldn’t even be attending high school at the same time so here he is only 2 years younger) but kakucho is well liked since he’s nice and respectful and seems less intimidating that the rest of them
teachers like him, he’s well-mannered and doesn’t cause trouble
izana and him work closely together which is convenient because out of the group’s social circle he’s for sure the only one not making izana want to rip his hair out after an hour
ran
in his 3rd year
wanted to be the treasurer but izana doesn’t trust him enough with numbers because his math grades are horrible so instead they made him part of the committee
i’m not 100% sure what that position includes but ran is doing the bare minimum, he’s mostly part of the council for the status and because he thought it would be fun to have extra priviledges
also he kind of used this opportunity to keep the friend group together in one place
izana has to keep him on a leash to not cause too much chaos in his classes because that would give the council a bad image, he’s still getting into trouble for skipping and such but he does try to not overdo it for izana’s sake
doesn’t really try at tests and such but still passes, sometimes only barely but that’s his own choice because he could be better, he just doesn’t care enough about grades to actually use up any free time to study or do homework
contrary to popular belief he’s responsible when you need him! he does care about the council and especially his friends. even if it seems like he’s just in it for the fun, he listens to izana and respects him a lot
also i feel like he’d be part of some sport club as well? maybe baseball
rindou
the actual treasurer; in his 2nd year
didn’t actually want to join the council but ran made him so the group is together and because they needed someone who’s actually capable of becoming the treasurer
his grades are quite good, he doesn’t have to try too hard to get high scores but he cares about his education so he puts in enough effort to keep them above average
if you ask him he’d tell you he was forced to join but he does enjoy the time with everyone and is secretly glad that ran dragged him into it
has a very small social circle, but it’s a choice. he finds most of his classmates so boring and probably only has like 1 or 2 people outside of the student council that he would consider friends. there are a few more people around him and his friends during breaks and stuff but he doesn’t really care enough to actually initiate contact with them
kind of intimidating because he has a resting bitch face
hanma

another 3rd year
he’s also part of the committee with ran
ran and him are like best friends because yes i’m ignoring the canon age difference and they’re the same age here
hanma and ran get in trouble together, hanma’s just a bit more reckless and careless, when they work together on their own they get nothing done so for them to actually make progress there’s always at least one other person present
izana has a harder time dealing with him bc he’s not originally his friend but more of a friend’s friend. they get along but just aren’t as close especially because hanma has lots of other friends and tenjiku isn’t really his “main” friend group
the type of student that will make teacher sigh in relief once they graduate, partially because they’re glad he actually DID graduate and also because he’s finally gonna terrorize someone else and not them
grades aren’t really good, he doesn’t try. he considered dropping out a few times but his friends talked him into staying and he has nothing better to do
still skips school a lot, fails a few classes but never has to repeat the year thanks to his friends who do the most to make him pass somehow
now the whole fun of this was that the secretary position is still open for you, me, whoever the reader might be. i didn’t include all tenjiku members bc fuck kisaki, also for mochi and shion idrk, don’t care for them at all so i have nothing to offer for them
