School castes/soulmate au where when you turn 15 you get a mark on your skin where your soulmate is supposed to touch you for the first time and when they do it’s supposed to disappear.
Eren on the morning of his birthday checking his body to find it and noticing there’s a handprint on his left shoulder. Later at school, him checking whether it’s still there or not whenever someone touched him on the shoulder to either greet him or wish him a a happy birthday, but nothing.
At one point giving up on it and continuing his normal routine, then as he’s about to go home janitor Levi stops him by grabbing him on the shoulder, telling him how he just cleaned the floor and he needed to be careful or he would slip. Eren thanking him for being cautious, then just going straight home.
Later after taking a shower, while looking at the mirror he noticed that the mark was gone. After a few minutes of pondering, he came to the conclusion that the janitor is supposed to be his soulmate and Eren couldn’t be happier, since he did kind of have a crush on him but this situation just made it better
One night, you might get called in to exterminate a demon. That same night, you might just find yourself falling in love with said demon. That’s precisely what happened to Levi when he was called in to exterminate a mischievous demon named Eren.
Eren: Captain do you not love me anymore?
Levi: Why would you say that?
Eren: I don’t know it’s just been five minutes since the last time you told me you love me, that’s all
Levi: Why are you being an idiot?
Eren: Because I want attention?
Levi: … I love you Eren
Eren: I love you too Levi!
On their first year anniversary together, Levi drove them to the ocean for the first time since their reincarnation. The sea had been one of those things they hadn’t wanted to see without the other.

Older!Eren is a bit more aggressive and protective. Levi is a bit annoyed sometimes.
