everybody talks about how impressive it is that jiang cheng rebuilt the jiang sect, which is totally legit because that was mad impressive, don’t get me wrong. but? hello??? you know who else lost all his disciples and had to rebuild his sect from the ground up? sect leader yao. and it might be even more impressive in his case because he’s not even hot. how did he inspire the hale and hearty to follow him into battle? not by smoldering at people, that’s for damn sure. does hehave a sexy purple lightning whip and cheekbones that could cut glass? he sure does not! he had to make do with his wits alone, and we all know he doesn’t have many of those either. the deck was stacked against him and yet somehow he still came out the other side, more alive and obnoxious than ever. truly an inspiration to us all.
thought: Zixuan has so many kids to Dad, he sometimes unwittingly forgets to turn off Dad Mode and casually Dads people who are not his kids. pretty much every other dad in the previous generation is incredibly shitty so actually it works surprisingly well.
