Week 2: Dating|Day 14: Today is your first Valentine’s together.

Pairing: Shisui Uchiha x gn!Reader

Note: Happy Valentine’s, lovelies! Send me some love letters :D or send me love letters you would like to send to Naruto’s fictional beings :’)) We are officially halfway through with the challenge. I poured my heart and soul into this one, enjoy!

“How long have you been here already?” Shisui asked, gently wrapping his scarf around your neck, worry written all over his face.

“Just fifteen minutes,” you smiled, rubbing your palms together to fight off the chill of the season.

“That’s twenty minutes before we’re supposed to meet,” he frowned. “Your nose is all red.”

“I couldn’t wait to meet you.” Explaining, you blinked your eyes adorably in hopes that he would let it go—the fact that you almost froze standing outside without proper shielding against the cold. Being a normal civilian without the Uchiha’s superior Ninjutsu, it would take you ages to go back and get your scarf, not to mention your ignorance regarding tonight’s decreasing temperature. “Besides, I’m alright right now, aren’t I?”

Shisui sighed and unzipped his jacket, “Come here.”

You complied, hugging tightly onto your personal heating pad as he covered your body up with the warm and comfortable material of his jacket. “Happy Valentine’s Day! Thank you, Shisui.”

“For what?”

“For everything,” you mumbled.

“You—,” he exhaled, “I’m the one who needs to say that. Thank you for choosing to stay with me despite our differences in basically everything. I thought that I would never meet someone like you in this life, who would believe and trust me wholeheartedly.”

“Shisui?”

“Yeah?” His voice quietened.

“I love you,” you closed your eyes as the words came out.

Love—a sacred word that Shisui could not fathom appearing in his life. Love—something he never thought he deserved receiving, not in this lifetime. His entire journey has been caught up with endless sacrifices and the image of his loved ones leaving him, one by one, caught up with missions that he went on to fill the void that carved deep into his heart. Love—a picture that he could never make clear of. Love—his fear, yet his yearning. He longed for love, he longed for someone to hold him dearly, he longed for his heart to accept someone’s love and for someone to accept his heart.

But right now, you in his arms was the epitome of love. The love he yearned for was never grand, never ornamented, never exteriorized.

Shisui placed his chin on the crown of your head, listening to your soft breath and your heart beating the same rhythm as his. He felt his heart trembling, moved by the affection rising in his chest—ineffable. Love strengthened to tides, washing the shore of his courage as he pried his lips open. “I love you, Y/N. I love you, dearly.”

[Shisui Uchiha X Reader] A Change of State

|2022 Flubruary Event|

Week 1: Attraction|Day 6: Shisui intends on ruining your friendship, and you have no objection.

Pairing: Shisui Uchiha x gn!Reader

Note: Day 6 is finally here, couldn’t write for Shisui in “First Snow” so this is where the man gets attention.

“Are you free this afternoon?” Shisui casually strolled into the office during your lunch break and took a seat next to you, getting out his lunch to enjoy during the break time.

“I have several reports to complete at the moment,” you glanced at your calendar and smacked your lips. “But I’ll be done after four.”

“Great,” the man mumbled beneath his breath, and you looked at him, confused. Shisui quickly waved his hand, “I actually need your help on something.”

“Alright, go ahead.” You nodded and got back to eating your meal, letting him talk about his plan in the afternoon. That was when you realized something off, “You want to go on a date with me?”

The idea was bizarre—he knew it. And the way your eyes widened at his words told him that you were not expecting it at all. Clearing his throat, Shisui put down his chopsticks and explained, “I’m in some sort of a problem. I told Itachi that I’m dating someone to stop him from matching me with random people he managed to gather in a line-up.”

“Understandable, you’re single to the core,” you mocked.

“Say you, who I can’t recall the last time holding someone’s hand.” He rolled his eyes, “Stop bickering and let me continue.” You signaled him to speak and Shisui went on explaining how your ‘date’ would work. “I’ll come here to get you at four, and we will go to a park nearby for a walk. I bet Itachi will be following us so you’ll have to act like we’re dating.”

“…Sure.”

With that, Shisui and you had been walking in the breezy park for the last fifteen minutes, chatting about anything that popped into your mind. Everything seemed usual, considering that you were friends with the Uchiha, except for his fingers intertwined with yours and the charming smile he managed to flash your way every other minute. You felt your heart beating faster with every step you took and totally zoned out of the conversation—until his bold move.

Shisui leaned in and pecked your cheek without informing. You were about to push him away and give him an earful, but he held your chin and kissed your forehead next. “Itachi’s watching.”

Your inner self immediately refuted that there were other measures the two of you could take without involving kisses, but you remained quiet. You felt butterflies in your stomach and eventually succumbed to the softness of his lips, relishing the way they felt on your skin. Maybe the realthing would not be too bad.

I noticed ShisuIno is more popular than I thought??

I’ve been wanting to redraw chibi ShisuIno so after a good period of procrastination, I’m finally done. :’)

I was having problems with my tablet but hey, I’m back again C:

Shisui’s eyes were wide open in shock, hand trying to silence the gasp coming from mouth as he reached out to stop Itachi from fleeting the scene after the younger boy confessed having feelings for him.
His hand reached only air. Shisui, well-known for his speed, wasn’t fast enough this time.

The pic is loosely based on an awesome fic I read this morning by @uchihashisuii (I hope this sloppy drawing will not offend you, it is just my way of showing how much I was moved by your fic and enjoyed reading it <3).

The cursive text is what played in my head on loop while drawing this, it is not from the original fic (just to clear things out). Go check out the fic, it’s really worth a read.

I didn’t quite manage to draw what I wanted and I left Itachi out from this pic completely. I simply ran out of paper where I wanted to draw him. I know, what a rookie mistake.
