Tried my hand at some pose reference thingies. I really like the art style and colour scheme in the first one, but I somehow managed this cool 3D effect in the second one that was, quite honestly, a complete accident. Also learning to work more typography into my art because I enjoy it so much!

Redid my meet the artist from a year ago, and this time in a whole new style. I’m thrilled to see my growth, even though it hasn’t seemed pretty evident. I wouldn’t have considered myself capable of something like this last year, and I’m??? SO FRIGGIN HAPPY???
Just a little sticker I designed to sell at college convocation this year. I’m really enjoying using this textured brush for line-art, and this flat colour style. I guess I’m slowly identifying what kind of art I like and where I want to fit myself in this sphere.
I’m still super overwhelmed by the sheer talent out there, it still feels like I can’t match up to a lot of people, and it’s hard not to constantly compare yourself to the other artists out there.
I can only tell myself that I will grow and learn in my own time, but sometimes that doesn’t feel enough.

This is a super old project I did as part of freelance that I was quite proud of back then, and honestly, I still think it looks quite cute. I’d planned to make a whole series of scenes, but the project sort of fell through in the end, and nothing came of it.
