since people from yunmeng live near lakes, then their diet probably mainly consist of fishes which are high in various vitamins and nutriens, that make hair more silky, healthy, shiny and overall, goals.
and wei wuxian, who never really cared about his appearance, always wore his hair with pride (especially since many women were praising how beautiful it looked and were asking him, if they can touch it), never constraining it with a tight hairstyle, like his brother did. yet one day, after he became yiling patriarch, he realized with bitter smile, that his hair is no longer his pride; it lost its shine, its thickness. it was screaming for proper care, but unfortunately, food on burial mounds wasn’t that various and numerous, and keeping himself in check was a problem, let alone his hair.
i also wanted to say, that at some point his hair started to fall out in a really disturbing amount, but i doubt that wuxian could make it till this point, since he kind of, well, died early. idk, no more thoughts on this, my head is empty.
