#subhanallah
just listened to Omar Hisham Al Arabis recitations for the first time. i am at a loss for words. mashallah
This was the fastest Ramadhan i’ve ever experienced. Can’t believe it’s the last Jumu’ah of this blessed month already. May Allah accept it from us and allow us to carry on with the good deeds we did.
It’s only when we reach the top of the mountain and catch a glimpse of the beautiful view do we realise how perfect Allah’s plans truly are.
Allah is لَطِيْفٌ. Know for sure that whatever He has provided for you, it is in your best interest and if He has withheld something from you, it is also in your best interest. You may not see the pieces to your puzzle but certainly He is placing them together for you in the most beautiful of ways.
To you who weeps at night out of regret and guilt. To you who remembers the past and is hopeless of Allah’s Mercy. To you who thinks ‘how can i ever be forgiven when my sins fill up the heavens and the earth.’ Allah says,
“O My servants who have transgressed against themselves (by sinning), do not despair of Allah’s Mercy. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
[39:53]
Whenever i see the sunrise or the sunset, it reminds me of a beautiful hadith that always leaves me awe struck. There’s a verse in Surah Yaseen that says,
“And the sun goes towards its resting place.”
[36:38]
Some sahabah’s رضي الله عنهم asked the Prophet ﷺ about what this verse meant, to which he replied that when the sun sets, it goes beneath the ‘Arsh of Allah and does sajdah. It stays there until Allah grants it permission to rise again. So it rises in the morning and in the evening the sun comes back to do sujood again beneath the ‘Arsh of Allah. It will continue to do this until a time will come where it will ask for permission to rise, but Allah will order it to go back to where it came from. So it will rise from the west and this is when the doors of tawbah will close.
How beautifully Allah has created the world that not a single thing works without His Command. That each and every single thing proclaims the Oneness of Allah. Something to really think about.
