To those who feel invisible, forgotten: Salaam.
You who do not feel at ease, you who turn onto your side in bed every night, looking into the darkness, lonely and distraught and empty. You who walk forward in life without an anchor, feeling as though you may be swept away at any moment.
Peace be with you. You are not forgotten. You are remembered and known. Your name is known to the Creator of the heavens. Your lineage is known. The curve of your smile is known. The crumple of your face when you cry is known.
You are seen. Even in your darkness you are seen. Your calls to Him are heard and recorded and kept safe. He does not forget them, even when you have.
Warmest greetings to you. You have not been left alone, and you are not a mistake. Allah makes no mistakes, so how could you be one? He decided you mattered enough to be here. He said Be and you were. He does not say “Be” for no reason.
You matter. You are not forgotten nor are you despised by Him. The One who holds all things in balance knows you exactly as you are and He calls you to nearness. He calls you because He knows you and wants you close. Your soul belongs to Him.
Peace upon peace upon peace to your grieving heart. You were once nothing, and He created you. Not so you could be forgotten. Rather, so you may be remembered and held in His love and light.

Al-Bukhari reported in his Sahih that Abu Said Al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) told the companions: “Are you not able to read a third of the Qur'an in one night?” They found this very difficult and replied that nobody amongst us can do so. Then the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: “Allah, The One, the Self sufficient "Surah Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad equals a third of the Qur'an.”
Muslim also reported that Abu Al Darda narrated: “Say, He is Allah, The One, (Surah 112) equals a third of the Qur'an.” reported by Al-Thirmidhi, and Al- Albani classified it as an authentic Hadith.
Al-Mubarakpuri stated in Sharh Al-Thirmidhi that it could mean that whoever reads it 3 times is as if he reads the whole Qur'an.
اللهم اني اسالك الجنة
“Allahumma inni as’aluka al-jannah”
O Allah, I ask You for Paradise.
❝The Prophet ﷺ lived a simple life, but when it came to giving, he would put a king to shame.❞
[Ibn ʿAbbas, Shamā’il Muḥammadīyah, Book : 47, No. 336]
اذا سألوك يوماً :
لماذا انت حزين ؟
جـاوب بصدق و قل لهم :
أنى قليل الاستغفار
و هاجر للقرآن
If they ask you: Why are you sad?
Tell them truthfully and say to them:
I rarely make istighfar and I left reading Quran
Women of the Salaf used say to their husbands;
“Beware of haram earnings, for we can be patient with poverty, but not hellfire.”
This was the fastest Ramadhan i’ve ever experienced. Can’t believe it’s the last Jumu’ah of this blessed month already. May Allah accept it from us and allow us to carry on with the good deeds we did.
Whenever i see the sunrise or the sunset, it reminds me of a beautiful hadith that always leaves me awe struck. There’s a verse in Surah Yaseen that says,
“And the sun goes towards its resting place.”
[36:38]
Some sahabah’s رضي الله عنهم asked the Prophet ﷺ about what this verse meant, to which he replied that when the sun sets, it goes beneath the ‘Arsh of Allah and does sajdah. It stays there until Allah grants it permission to rise again. So it rises in the morning and in the evening the sun comes back to do sujood again beneath the ‘Arsh of Allah. It will continue to do this until a time will come where it will ask for permission to rise, but Allah will order it to go back to where it came from. So it will rise from the west and this is when the doors of tawbah will close.
How beautifully Allah has created the world that not a single thing works without His Command. That each and every single thing proclaims the Oneness of Allah. Something to really think about.
