#support black owned
Hey folks! This week’s PBG Money Monday is featuring She The Collection, a fashion line by Carmen Alexandra.
After being inspired by current trends but discouraged by the fit of most clothing She The Collection’s design process started. She The Collection is for the modern woman, the curvy, girly, edgy, and trendy girl of the current generation.
“I took a leap of faith to be where I am, and I am forever blessed grateful to be self employed and doing what I love. I think life is way too short to waste working a job that you don’t like or anything that makes you unhappy. You have to make yourself happy and proud in everything that you do, feed your soul and live your best life. Speak peace, love, happiness, health, and wealth over your life and they will be brought to you abundantly!"
She The Collection carries both faux fur bags and vegan suede dresses.

This week’s Money Monday feature is of Anika JacksonandKelli Coleman, the gorgeous founders of The TEN Nail Bar in Detroit Michigan.
The TEN has been hailed as Detroit’s first modern nail bar, and was created to fill a void in the personal services market, in a city undergoing massive regeneration and growth. Anita and Kelli are honored to bring a business to their hometown that plays an important role in self-care.
The salon just opened its doors for business in September and it is gorgeous.
If you’re in the Detroit area and need a good mani pedi, be sure to #SupportBlack and check out The TEN Nail Bar! Visit their website here.

I believe that economic empowerment will play a huge role in the continued advancement and collective success of black women across the globe.
Because of this, I want to use this platform of nearly 13,000 beloved followers (and growing) to support and promote black women owned businesses. I welcome you to join me in encouraging each other to forge our own paths, launch that big idea you’ve always dreamed of, and lift each other up as we climb.
I am going to call this series #PBGMoneyMonday, and I invite you to follow The Pro Black Girl on Instagram and use the hashtag to enter yourself or a business you admire for consideration for a potential feature!
